We are finally here, the world premiere of the new Mercedes-Benz CLA. Isn’t that stunning? Rome in the background, the Vatican over here, but the car is even more beautiful and now we are finally launching it.
The first time you meet a person, you look at the eyes, at the smile. It is the same with the car: high-tech beautiful headlights. For the first time with fully illuminated panel with these illuminated stars. Especially at night, it looks fantastic! In an electric car, of course, you have a battery underneath. We are literally sitting on a battery. This is an 85 kWh battery. In its highest range version, it can take you this incredible 790 km. The engineers have done everything to squeeze out the last bit of efficiency of the drivetrain. Let us say you take a longer trip and you want to charge. This new electric drivetrain based upon an 800 V system can charge super fast.
