Thanks for the invitation. I'm back in Romania after a long time and see a lot of transformation due to energy needs and the new green deal. 2020 is a transformational year despite COVID. EU funds must be invested in the right projects for the future. Renewables are cheap and effective, but we need enablers like permitting, flexibility, storage, green hydrogen, demand response, and digitalization. Customer centricity is key, especially in transportation and energy efficiency. EU funds are crucial to attract investment. Digitalization is essential for demand response and data exchange. The distribution grid and smart meters are important. COVID taught us to manage remotely and showed a decrease in CO2. We must act urgently on climate change, and the green deal implementation in Romania will help achieve those targets.
