The population has been in a difficult situation since the beginning of May. We froze all prices in all stores from the start of May to provide tranquility. We donated 500 tons of food and hygiene products, supported homeless employees with psychological help and shelter, and even sheltered pets. We learned from the pandemic to work remotely and keep stores open. The consumer has changed, using e-commerce more. In Brazil, the consumer is optimistic and resilient, unlike in Argentina where inflation is high. Carrefour Brazil is a key market with 130,000 employees and profits similar to France. We are integrating Grupo Big and simplifying operations. We are experimenting with AI for supply chain and demand forecasting, which will assist employees, not replace them. Brazil leads in digital payments. The Atacadão model, with fewer products and lower margins, works well here.
