We are at the beginning of a wonderful cooperation that will be a great opportunity for cooperation in offshore wind farms in the Baltic. We have excellent conditions for building wind farms. It is important that the Polish government has created very good framework conditions that enable stable development of such wind farms. Almost 90 gigawatts can be installed in the Baltic Sea, of which 28 gigawatts in the Polish part. Thanks to this, Poland will be one of the most important countries for offshore wind. Poland is a key strategic market for us. We already employ 250 people in Poland, and this is just the beginning. We will be involved here for a long time. Together with PGE, we want to build three wind farms with a total capacity of two and a half gigawatts. This is a significant part of our target for 2030. Both wind farms will provide stable and affordable electricity for almost 4 million households for three decades. By replacing fossil fuel production, the investment will avoid CO₂ emissions of 8 million tons per year. The ambitious plans of the Polish government for Polish offshore wind are an excellent opportunity for Polish suppliers not only for the construction and operation of offshore wind farms on the domestic market, but also for winning contracts for such investments in Europe and beyond. This is already happening. Polish offshore wind is part of the global offshore wind supply chain. As the world's largest offshore wind farm developer, Ørsted has extensive global experience in the UK, US, and Asia-Pacific region. Through close cooperation with local partners and stakeholders, we are building and developing a strong local supply chain. We intend to fully leverage the experience gained in Poland and, together with PGE, build a strong local supply chain, starting with the Baltica 2 and 3 wind farms. Here are some examples: Tele-Fonika Kable SA, a leading manufacturer of cables and wires with 100% Polish capital, in 2017 took over JDS for our wind farms. Holms Reichsbank and Ireland? [garbled] Morderstwo Masz produces steel structures for offshore wind towers and platforms. The company supplied steel substation structures for Walney Extension, one of our large offshore wind farms in the UK. Blat Instrukcji is Polish, produces foundations and substations. The company, based in Szczecin, supplied 60 foundations for our Dutch offshore wind farm Borssele 1&2. As these examples show, the Polish supply chain is at a good starting point. Local investments in operations and maintenance also offer opportunities for coastal communities. For example, we made significant investments in Grimsby on the east coast of the UK, building an operations and maintenance center for offshore wind. Our facility was built by a local company and currently employs over 370 people for the operation and maintenance of our wind farms on the east coast of the UK. In this way, we created many long-term skilled jobs. We intend to do the same in Poland in cooperation with PGE. Finally, I would like to mention the ports that will gain the opportunity to become strategic transshipment hubs for handling large components for the development of offshore wind. Ørsted has long-term investment plans in the Polish energy sector, and we look forward to supporting Poland's energy transition towards clean energy and building a strong, competitive local supply chain.
