We're here with VMblog at VeeamON 2022 in Las Vegas, and I'm speaking with Anand and Matthew. Can you tell us a little bit about what's happening here at VeeamON and some of the stuff from the keynote, the growth, and obviously you two are both new coming from RingCentral, so how's that transition been for you guys?

Hey first, glad to be here. Four months in, I don't know if I can call myself new anymore. Excited to be at VeeamON, my first one. We have 1,500 people here, and we had 35,000 plus people signed up virtually. We started the keynote discussing the explosion of data accelerated by the pandemic, which has led to a similar increase in ransomware attacks. One data point: in 2021, there was an attack every eight seconds. Our survey found less than 10% of organizations feel they have an effective data protection strategy. Ransomware is here and now. Veeam provides a singular platform protecting every workload, and we work with customers on process, like air-gapped immutable backups and verifying backups. We also talked about cloud acceleration; every company is on a hybrid journey but data protection hasn't kept pace. Modernizing backup strategy is critical. Veeam is at the forefront of technology, process, and community. I've been here four months from RingCentral, before that Microsoft, SAP, HP. Veeam has an innovation-driven culture and great products. There's significant growth opportunity. So Matthew, won't you share your perspective on growth and the transformation ahead?

Yeah, thanks Anand and thanks Brian. Veeam is a growth company, clear from our numbers: 27% growth in ARR last year and subscription growing 78%. A defining feature of growth companies is the ability to reinvent for each stage. We passed a billion dollars in ARR. The vectors of growth include cloud acceleration, which makes us more multi-product as customers have hybrid workloads. Another vector is evolving our partner base beyond VARs and resellers to partners embedding Veeam in their solutions. Third, Veeam is number one worldwide and far ahead in Europe, but in the US we have a lot of opportunity, especially in enterprises. We have a lot of growth ahead, and it's exciting to be here where innovation powers growth. Thanks Brian.
