Thank you for inviting me to this significant event. I'm excited and honored to talk about NEC and how we contribute to India and global society as a CTO. I lead 1,300 people. NEC was established in 1899 and is the first joint venture between Japan and the US. Our founder, Mr. Iwadare, worked with Thomas Edison. NEC is a member of the Sumitomo Group, which follows the Sanpo-yoshi philosophy of win-win-win for sellers, customers, and society – similar to the UN's SDGs. We provide social solutions like dynamic logistics in India with RFID, submarine cables totaling 300,000 km, and biometric technology for India's Aadhaar national ID program. Our multimodal biometrics – face, iris, fingerprint – have registered over a billion people, making it the world's largest ID system. We also fight cancer with AI to develop personalized cancer vaccines, currently in clinical trials in Europe and the US. Our core technologies include AI (top biometrics, explainable AI, autonomous control), security (blockchain, multi-party computing), communication (5G, beyond 5G, optical), and system platform (quantum and high-performance computing). Our global R&D network has seven centers, including NEC Labs India. We established NEC X in Silicon Valley to accelerate incubation of new solutions, with Totus Data as a successful spin-off. As CTO, I'm responsible for technology quality and business. Monetizing technology is crucial, and success comes from passionate researchers and partnerships. We welcome talented and ambitious people to join NEC and make a better world. Thank you. Orchestrating a brighter world, NEC.
