ALLEGRINI AND THE ART OF WINE

A is the letter that marks our lives as wine producers. The A of Allegrini as well as the A of amore, the love of wine, the love for a territory.

Here we are in the heart of Valpolicella. Villa de la Torre is the home of Allegrini. We love welcoming our guests here; our doors open to a world that paints a picture of beauty, culture, and passion.

I perfectly remember my father's hands. In them, you could read the history of the vineyards; you could see the seasons as they changed. This land and this sky have made us what we are. On these hills, our father set down the roots of our work, trusting that the land would have repaid our efforts, and so it has been. The beauty that surrounds us still surprises me.

The pattern drawn by the stones of the moroni, the dry stone walls that mark out our slopes, reveals the commitment we dedicate to this land. Cherishing it, we seek out those precious elements that thrill us when quality shines through.

My father's legacy was taken up by my brother Franco, by my brother Walter, who passed on his bond with the land to his daughter Silvia. Together, we wanted to venture beyond Valpolicella and out into the world.

The Gorola is a wonderful location, a long cliff that is topped by a plateau. On a clear day, you can see Garda Lake from here and all the plain below.

We realized our dream of producing Brunello di Montalcino when we arrived in San Polo. Arriving in Bulgari, those wonderful vineyards enclosed between land and sea were the amazing discovery of an unexpected Tuscany.

It is close to home, on the shores of Lake Garda, that we have explored new wines. They are true to their roots but express a modern and vibrant spirit.

With our wines, Amarone, La Crolla is the product which more than any other has marked the history of a land and of a family.

For six generations, Allegrini has been at the center of this quintessential winemaking territory, so well known and appreciated all over the world.

Allegrini wines can be found in over 60 countries and contribute to strengthening the image of Made in Italy products worldwide.
