Welcome on board the ships of Viking Ocean Cruises. We're delighted to bring you a 360-degree view of our elegant sister ships.
Setting for relaxation and conversation, the Viking Living Room hosts our classical trio and Steinway piano, and its well-curated Viking Library informs even the best-read traveler.
Adorned with nautical touches from Viking days, including the Klynker belt bar inspired by ancient longships.
On the atrium screen, Alistair Miller's inspiring photography captures Norway's rich and pristine details, underlining how these resourceful Norse people elevated the properties of nature in a way never before seen.
During our Munch Moments, contemplate the work of master painter Edvard Munch, whose more than three dozen most interesting images grace the screen.
The intimate sitting areas that surround the open and airy atrium provide inviting nooks ideal for sharing a morning coffee or an evening drink, as the soft melodies of the Steinway piano float up from the lobby below. Tabletop screens provide information about onboard events and your choice of chess, Scrabble, or cards should you be in the mood to play a game. A selection of books is also available for your reading pleasure.
A literary traveler's dream, the Viking Library is home to informative, entertaining, and inspirational books to enrich and expand your travel experience. Browse the curated collection for stories and perspectives that complement the first-hand discoveries you make throughout your voyage. A distributed collection of other interesting books can be found throughout the ship.
This inviting space exudes the adventurous spirit of Norway's navigators. Browse the library to find chronicles of their voyages, or let your imagination take the helm of the replica ship models displayed here.
Each Viking ocean vessel celebrates a different Norwegian explorer and his ship. Learn about Thor Heyerdahl's expedition aboard the famed Kon-Tiki, Roald Amundsen's daring advances into unmapped polar reaches, and view the model of the Stella Polaris, launched in 1926.
The groundbreaking Stella Polaris was the first vessel custom-made for leisure cruising. With her distinctive curved bow and beautiful profile, she is the inspiration of our elegant sister ships.
Momsen is the way my sister and I always addressed our mother, whose real name was Ragnhild Hagen. So Momsen is a casual deli where we have created a menu that reflects traditional Norwegian food, cooked exactly to Momsen's recipes.
Her kitchen celebrated nutritious, home-cooked food using ingredients you had on hand. From winter's heartiest soups and stews to a summer's light affair of cured meats and fish on open-faced sandwiches known as smørrebrød.
Year-round the special treats were heart-shaped waffles, which were prepared with milk or yogurt, and of course on top we had Norwegian brown cheese. My sister even came aboard with her own waffle iron to teach our chefs how to prepare the waffles the proper way.
Another favorite was her pea soup, which is exactly replicated in the Momsen Deli. We have it available in the evening — it's a good nighttime dish.
One could say that the recipes she inspired are literally served on her plates. After Momsen passed away, my daughter Karina came across her old dishware and found that they were stamped with a brand name, Thor Viking. The coincidence was hard to ignore, and so Karina asked the company to replicate the pattern for Momsen's onboard dishware.
If you turn it over and look, you will see it's now called Thor Viking II. This was all done without my knowledge and came as a nostalgic surprise when we launched the first ocean ship.
The pool and hot tub provide a calming oasis in any weather. The retractable roof allows for anytime swims and soaks. A haven for relaxation, it's a fun spot to socialize during a day at sea.
The pool deck has been thoughtfully designed for lap swims, leisurely wading, or enjoying a drink poolside. By night, it's a magical setting for stargazing and for watching a classic movie or a new release.
The Pool Bar is a relaxing spot for a drink poolside. The casual atmosphere welcomes bathing suits, lounging, and leisurely dips in the water — a perfect afternoon at sea.
In a poolside atmosphere that welcomes lounging and leisurely dips in the water, the Pool Grill offers gourmet burgers as well as vegetarian options, chicken sandwiches, fresh grilled fish, and the most delicious thin-cut French fries, all prepared to order. At the adjacent salad bar, you may wish to make your own salad or select from our pre-made salads.
Late afternoon tea, that hallmark of English civility, is served at the Winter Garden. Freshly made finger sandwiches, richly textured scones, and decadent desserts are presented on bountiful tiered carts, from the kitchen of our masterful pastry chef.
The indulgence is accompanied by a selection of international teas, tea ceremony demonstrations, and the soft strains of a string quartet. With a park-like setting and panoramic views, it's an inspiring respite.
With live cooking, open kitchens, and buffet-style meal service, the World Café provides a vibrant, interactive experience and a wide range of international flavors in a casual environment.
You can choose your favorite foods from the deli, the pasta or wok station, or the sushi bar — prepared and presented in a streamlined Scandinavian setting. Dine indoors or al fresco at shaded tables on the Aquavit Terrace, both offering stunning panoramic views.
Located between the Aquavit Terrace and the World Café, the Aquavit Bar is a casual area for dining, socializing, and relaxing, featuring panoramic views of your destination during the day and opportunities to stargaze after dinner.
In the spirit of the revolutionary outdoor settings of our award-winning river ships, we've created the Aquavit Terrace, providing more al fresco dining experiences than on any ship at sea. Now located outside the World Café at the stern of the ship, the inviting terrace is transformed by night into a magical space where your destination is your dining room.
By day, it's a relaxing lounge area around the infinity pool.
Our main dining venue, The Restaurant, offers the highest quality onboard dining experience amid a clean and streamlined Scandinavian design in an open and inviting atmosphere. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served and always complemented by your preferred beverage, from coffees and teas to wines and beers.
The Restaurant features sweeping views through all-glass, floor-to-ceiling windows that open, so your destination is always close by. Our menu includes regional cuisine and always-available American classics enhanced with locally sourced ingredients, so you can explore new cultures through food.
Inspired by authentic Italian trattorias, Manfredi's is the creation of two industry leaders: Viking Chairman Torstein Hagen and Silversea Cruises Chairman Manfredi Lefebvre d'Ovidio.
Longtime personal friends, they share a passion for the fine art of Italian cuisine. The menu, designed from authentic regional ingredients, is an ode to Manfredi, who had a personal hand in testing the recipes.
The Chef's Table offers a unique multi-course tasting experience in which culinary creations by acclaimed guest chefs are paired with wines hand-selected by our master sommeliers. Dining here is a culinary journey — the marriage of cultural enrichment, gastronomic exploration, and regional cuisine, expertly prepared and enhanced by the chef's detailed descriptions of tastings and pairings.
Savor an exclusive experience in the private dining room — an opportunity to share in a unique culinary venue with family, your travel companions, or newfound friends. Both Manfredi's Italian Restaurant and the Chef's Table offer private dining reservations with your choice of wine from our special collection.
After a day of exploration or during your relaxing day at sea, indulge in the spa — a soothing sanctuary of Nordic wellness. Whether you unwind in the sauna, refresh in the Snow Grotto, or work out in the fitness center, you'll feel recharged and refreshed. If you prefer pampering, renew your body and spirit with our Scandinavian-inspired services, from traditional Swedish massages to cleansing facials.
Experience the most unique treatment at sea in the Snow Grotto — an ideal space to recharge and refuel. In this tranquil setting that artfully recreates the centuries-old Nordic tradition of alternating hot and cold treatments, snowflakes gently descend from the ceiling through chilled air. This crisp environment provides a detoxifying balance after your sauna, while providing one of the most revitalizing spaces on board.
Cleanse the body and purify the mind with our traditional Nordic bathing experience, alternating the sauna's soothing heat with a refreshing plunge in our cold pool. We've lined our hot sauna with healing materials from Scandinavia, including Swedish limestone, and we've set our plunge pool to the ideal temperature to help you increase circulation, strengthen immunity, and deeply relax your muscles with this cleansing treatment.
The ship's fitness center supports your health and wellness with treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bicycles, and more. You can also keep yourself conditioned here in our dedicated open space for yoga and Pilates — the ideal way to stay energized and greet each day.
Our onboard personal trainer can put a customized workout program together for you for the duration of your cruise.
Our onboard shops feature Måla Boutique for clothing and Norwegian handicrafts, Ull elid for jewelry, and Cosmetica for cosmetics and skincare products.
A lively music venue reminiscent of romantic jazz lounges of 1940s Hollywood, Tor's Haven is ideal for after-dinner entertainment. Enjoy a classic martini stirred to perfection, savor the finest quality cognac, take in the melodic tunes of jazz singers or piano players — all in an intimate setting that invites music lovers to linger.
At Tor's Haven, we offer rare vintage Armagnacs from the years 1935 to 1965. Select one to toast a personal special year — a birthday, marriage, child or grandchild's birth or anniversary — or perhaps a year of other historic significance.
Explore Armagnacs and discover the variety of nuances in these extraordinary, limited-quantity brandies from France's Gascony region.

The living room boasts Chairman Hagen's private library, including shelves lined with physics and business books from his university days, the Brooks series by Danish scientist Piet Hein, biographies of famous Scandinavians, and nostalgic family photos. Listen to his favorite music collection — perhaps Mozart or Edvard Grieg — while sipping fine wine and plotting your next move on his wooden chessboard. Admire his beloved Norwegian artwork by modernist painter Jakob Weidemann. These and other personal touches, such as his treasured telescope and his childhood stamp collection, provide a truly residential feel.
The boardroom, which seats 12 and features an expansive table, is perfect for hosting both executive meetings with video conferencing, should you like, and private dining parties.
