About Bob Wood

Dr. Robert Wood, an aerospace engineer and physicist with 43 years of experience, was interviewed in 2022 for the "Selected by Extraterrestrials Book Series." During the interview, Wood said that "the relationship with the nordics has been important" and stated that "they're the only ones that are clearly trying to help us." He also discussed the Nova program, saying that "according to bill the nova program was a way of taking very large craft that were capable of using propellants ... and going to the distant stars," though he noted that he "got disconnected from the reality of it" because such technology did not appear to involve anti-gravity propulsion. Wood also spoke about the work of a man named Bill, who he said was a courier for Rear Admiral Bolder in the 1950s, transporting reports on extraterrestrial-related design work to universities, aerospace industry sites, and Navy installations. Wood stated that he personally knew senior officials at the Douglas Aircraft Company who, according to Bill, were running an advanced design think tank, adding that Bill's claims were "very very plausible."

His job was to take reports that had been transcribed and written up by secretaries and distribute them to various places around the country that had an interest in them. That was interesting to me — there were three kinds of places he went to: universities, the aerospace industry, and Navy installations, and actually some Air Force installations too. He was relatively young at the time — I think 18 when the war began — but yet he was given this responsibility by Rear Admiral Boulder to take these briefing materials all over the United States and brief scientists and military officials or anyone who could give insight into the German program. And all the time, a lot of people were questioning whether or not this was clever disinformation by the Germans.
H
Host32:30
Yeah, that's right.
B
Bob Wood32:33
He was sometimes given updated information where, in effect, the people he was giving it to were told to forget the last thing we told you — this is the latest — and I think they had some trouble doing that. His role was really remarkable. He was not expected to understand the subtle details of what he was transmitting, but he was expected to understand enough so he could answer some simple questions. And of course, the experience he got while working for the Navy was instrumental in him later being offered a job at Douglas Aircraft Company and being fast-tracked into the advanced think tank there at Douglas.
H
Host33:33
Because you got your PhD pretty early, right? I mean, you weren't briefed about that, but of course Bill had worked in the covert branch for years and I guess he had the security clearance to work on that kind of advanced material.
B
Bob Wood34:07
Bill's education was never augmented with official classes particularly from universities. He just told it like he saw it, and he had a real challenge to do that too. I mean, he was being exposed to technology that most of our scientists were not able to understand, and he was kind of asked to explain what it was and how he got it. I can imagine there were many times when he was unable to answer their questions.
H
Host34:33
Right. So in this book, Volume Three, he talks about a number of incidents throughout his career. There you go — Selected by Extraterrestrials, Book Three. One of the incidents he described was when he went with a delegation of people from the Navy support service in Medford. He went there with a convoy of cars where the local officials from Medford traveled up to this mountain, and they had some kind of experience or encounter with extraterrestrials. Can you describe that?
B
Bob Wood35:18
That was really a strange situation. The word came to people involved in the Navy League that there was an opportunity to go and meet some extraterrestrials on top of this mountain. They got instructions as to generally where to go, but they had to follow signs that basically said to go where the UFOs were. They wound up going through these mountain roads towards the top, and there at the top was an elegant hunting lodge that they went into. There were people there who invited them and welcomed them, and after a while they sat down at the table and the whole side of the lodge became transparent, and they could see out over the rest of the territory. That particular incident is really interesting because it's filled with phenomena that shouldn't occur. On the way down, as I recall, one of the leaders had an accident and broke something in a car crash. Anyway, it was an amazing story and really well worth the read.
H
Host37:02
Yeah, there's a number of very interesting topics in Book Three that are looked at very closely. He talked about topics such as teleportation and the Philadelphia Experiment. What do you remember about those topics that Bill discussed?
B
Bob Wood37:22
Well, the Philadelphia Experiment attracted my attention particularly because it was the case that involved the disappearance of a Navy ship allegedly through a program that was top secret. The thing that impressed me was that it was covered by Bill in a way that most people who studied the Philadelphia Experiment are unaware of — the level of detail that was mentioned in Bill's report. I think that was new. The 20-and-back experiences — how if you're selected to join the Space Force and you agree, you can serve for 20 years and then, as Bill said, after taking a couple of pills, in a few months you go back to your original age and your original time. That program has been widely criticized as being too difficult to believe to be true, but my conclusion is that it is in fact a true report of what Bill saw happen. Bill also talked a good deal about the Moon and the bases that were on it — how they were managed and controlled by various, multiple different extraterrestrial races. And that leads to the question of who's really in charge of what's on the Moon now. I think this has changed a lot since Bill died in 2017. We've got five years worth of time there that I think things have been changing a lot, and of course you cover that in your regular webinars very nicely. But it's a dynamic situation, and Bill's book really is just a representation of one part of the dynamic evolution of the extraterrestrial process, which may indeed be coming to a new point — a new fruition where the public is actually let know what's been going on over there over the years.
H
Host40:15
Well, Bill's work when he was at TRW — when he described working on multiple projects at TRW, I think that was a four-year period from 1967 to 1971 — he described working on life extension technology, and I think that's very important because the Secret Space Program insiders that have come forward all talked about how you had this kind of technology that could age-reverse you. So that's, according to Bill, all developed at TRW in the late 1960s.
B
Bob Wood40:58
Yes, and that has caused lots of people to wonder whether they can get a piece of that life extension technology. As far as I'm concerned, I'm just taking NMN pills, which seem to have helped. Since I'm 94 years in a month, I feel pretty good and I think about as good as Bill felt at that age. But I continue to look for things that will help slow down my aging, which includes going to the gym twice a week, so that helps.
H
Host41:42
Well, I remember Bill talking a lot about his knowledge of what he described as Nordic extraterrestrials — typically very attractive, beautiful women or men — and that they were able to live a long, long time. He said that they had reached agreements with the U.S. Navy to help them develop life extension technologies and really help them with the whole 20-and-back program. So this was a critical part of Bill's story — this cooperation between Nordic extraterrestrials and the U.S. Navy. Anything you want to add or elaborate on that, especially as Volume Three talked a little bit about that kind of relationship?
B
Bob Wood42:34
One of the things that impressed me was his view of the slave trade. Fundamentally, he was motivated in understanding the extent and degree of the slave trade throughout the universe, and he wanted to do everything he could to eliminate that slave trade. That's not one of the things he talked about a good deal in Volume Three, but in Volumes One and Two he did make that point quite strongly. And I've concluded that there is a lot of slave trade — I don't have any inside information on it myself — but I think his determination to do everything he could to get rid of the slave trade is one of the things that motivated him to write the books.
H
Host43:33
Well, one of the key elements of Book One in particular, Selected by Extraterrestrials, where he's talking about the Nordic aliens, was how they were helping the Navy. And I think that's a very important aspect of his story that is very relevant today, because it seems that there's a lot of people coming forward now talking about different galactic organizations that are working with the U.S. Navy, or with white hats in the military, or with an Earth alliance. And of course, Bill was saying that this was happening in the 1950s. So the question that a lot of people have is: were the Nordics that Bill was discussing, that were embedded in the Douglas Aircraft Company — were these part of the same organization as these Nordics that are working with people like Elena Danaan and who claim that they are working with the Galactic Federation of Worlds?
B
Bob Wood44:43
My opinion would be that the Nordics of Bill's era are the same Nordics as the ones that are working with Elena now — the very same ones. But there's one case, as I recall, where Bill talked about seeing one of his Nordics years later, where she was giving a lecture and she suddenly vanished from the room when he went in to try to find her afterwards. So I think that the relationship with the Nordics has been important, and it's been for a couple of reasons. Number one, because they're the only ones that are clearly trying to help us, and number two — well, it's just another way of saying the same thing — the only ones clearly trying to help us.
H
Host45:47
Yeah, because that's very important. I know in reading some of the classic contactee literature — looking at people like George Adamski, Howard Menger, George Van Tassel, and Orfeo Angelucci — these people all described human-looking extraterrestrials or Nordics that were sometimes living amongst us. They were pretty consistent in describing them as almost pacifists, that they were really here to teach spiritual and philosophical knowledge to people, that they weren't interested at all in military causes. But here's Bill saying that in the Douglas think tank and companies like TRW and Rocketdyne, there were these Nordics embedded within these companies, helping the Navy develop advanced space carriers that were capable of warfare in deep space. I mean, clearly we're talking about different Nordic groups here, I think.
B
Bob Wood46:52
Yeah, it could be different, but not necessarily — they could well be coordinated. But I agree with you that the involvement of the Nordics with Bill and with the good guys here has been very important, I think, for the history of where we're going. I think even though there may be other civilizations that feel neutrally or strongly in favor of us besides the Nordics, they haven't put forth the same energy that the Nordics seem to have put forth with Bill. And even today, the question of whether the Space Force has involvement with the Nordics or not is an interesting one to me. I don't remember hearing about that. But we're digressing, I guess, because we should be talking about what Bill is saying in Book Three.
H
Host48:07
Yeah, but I think he was very concerned about some of the organizations that were playing a kind of nefarious role on Earth, and he talked a lot about the Freemasons. Now, I actually can't remember how much he raised that topic in Volume Three, but I know he was very concerned about the role of Freemasons. So anything you want to raise about that, and whether that was raised in Volume Three?
B
Bob Wood48:42
He used the Freemasons as part of the evil empire, if not the major part of the evil empire. And he took every opportunity he could, I believe, to associate bad things with the Freemasons — from a personal point of view, where he was invited once to participate in a party, to an impersonal point of view where they were clearly the people behind evil things.
H
Host49:22
Well, I know he talked a lot about the way in which the reptilians were kind of working with global elites — we would maybe include the Freemasons in that — to control our planet. And I remember in Book Two he talked about these gases that were being released into the upper atmosphere by the reptilians. Now, is that something that he elaborated further on in Volume Three?
B
Bob Wood49:59
No, there's no further elaboration in Volume Three about the gases released over Oceanside. That was covered with a photograph in Volume Two. I believe he clearly felt that the so-called chemtrails were phony and that the aliens were involved in putting out some of the gases that are intended to control us and basically take away our memories — or well, take away some of our intelligence. He was strongly opposed to the aliens' use of these gases to control the people, but I don't believe he mentioned that in Volume Three.
H
Host50:58
Well, I remember him talking a lot about Maria Orsic and her involvement in setting up the German Secret Space Program and setting up a civilian space program in earlier volumes. And in this Volume Three, he talks a little bit more about Maria Orsic and the relationship with the Nazi SS. I thought that was very interesting, because recently I interviewed two French men who say they were part of a secret space program that was run jointly by France and the United States, and they say they met Maria Orsic on a craft called the Solaris. Their story was that Maria Orsic was actually an extraterrestrial who had infiltrated human society and had infiltrated the SS. And I thought that was very interesting given what Bill had to say about Maria Orsic and her importance in creating the German Secret Space Program. So do you think it's feasible that Maria Orsic was in fact one of these extraterrestrial infiltrators?
B
Bob Wood52:16
I think that is feasible. Yes. I was a little surprised to understand that Maria went to Antarctica early on with the Nazis, however, because at one time it was clear that Bill pointed out that they were keeping them separate — that is, the SS had their own spacecraft design group and Maria Orsic had the others. The others were putting together their own kind of craft. However, during the war, I guess Maria decided to go down and join with the SS in Antarctica. Is that your understanding too?
H
Host53:05
Yeah, and I think she went there because she was highly valued and they needed her for the program. But all along she was really working for these Nordic extraterrestrials, or maybe we'd call it the Galactic Federation.
B
Bob Wood53:20
Well, at one time Maria was identified as the person who psychically talked to people on the planet Antares, who allegedly sent her psychically the diagrams for building UFO craft. And I've never seen any confirmation of that, but it does seem a little inconsistent with the report you're suggesting — that she did not come from Antares, or that she did not go to Antares. The original thought was that they were all going to make their UFOs and end up in flight to Antares, but I think that never happened.
H
Host54:14
Well, in the first chapter in Volume Three, Bill talks about the Nova Program and the Apollo Program. And I think that's very interesting because Bill was saying that the Navy had this ambitious program to colonize space, and that pretty much came to an end when the Navy and NASA were told not to come back to the Moon. And that was when — I think Bill said when he was at TRW — he saw that the Navy and the Apollo program were told not to come back to the Moon. But today, of course, we have humanity being poised to return to the Moon with the Artemis Program. So are we kind of taking up from where things essentially came to a stop in the early 1970s as far as the Nova Program and the Apollo Program were concerned? Maybe just tell us what the Nova Program was, according to Bill.
B
Bob Wood55:21
According to Bill, the Nova Program was a way of taking very large craft that were capable of using regular burning propellants and going to distant stars. Now, that's where I got disconnected from the reality of it, because you don't go to distant stars using burning kerosene. And there was no evidence through the plan at Rocketdyne that there was ever any involvement in anti-gravity propulsion. So the absence of the description of anti-gravity propulsion caused me to disagree with Bill about the development of a long-range plan to explore the universe.
H
Host56:11
Right, but as I understood it, the Nova Program kind of had four steps. The first step was to get humans to the Moon, with the Navy building Moon bases that would have ten thousand personnel. The second stage was to get to Mars and build bases using conventional rockets. And then the third stage was to go deeper into space. But I guess that's when the Nova Program would have morphed into something more advanced, using anti-gravity technologies for the reasons you described. But for those first two steps, it seems that — I see the parallel with today, because it seems this is exactly what Elon Musk is doing with his Starship: using these massive boosters to get rockets to the Moon to build bases and to Mars in particular to build very large bases. So it seems what Bill talked about with the Nova Program in the late '60s and early '70s came to a stop, but now under Elon Musk, I see a parallel there.
B
Bob Wood57:35
Well, yeah, I see the parallel too, and it's an intriguing parallel. But I think the absence of the identification of anti-gravity propulsion is pretty critical in my mind. Sometimes you've got to go over to anti-gravity propulsion in order to get to the stars. But of course, we know that Bill was saying that the Navy was already working on space carriers that would be part of Solar Warden and would use anti-gravity. So I guess the question is: if the Nova Program was rocket-based, then why did the Navy on one hand pursue the Nova Program using rockets to build large bases on the Moon, and at the same time they were using anti-gravity technologies for their space carriers being built with the help of Nordics? There seems to be a kind of interesting bifurcation here of what the Navy was doing.
H
Host58:48
Yeah, I think that's a good summary. Well, he talks about that in Chapter One of Volume Three. So how can people get Volume Three? Is it available?
B
Bob Wood59:05
Well, yeah, just go to Amazon.com and put in Selected by Extraterrestrials, and I think Volume Three, My Spoken Words, comes right up. And then if you want to get an electronic version, it's easy to just select that option. So it's pretty simple. And we now have probably two-thirds of Bill's interviews with Jeff Rense that are still yet to be put into paper or books, and that'll be our next plan — to proceed to Volume Four. I'm thinking that Volume Four will probably cover essentially everything that Bill said before he died that's relevant and can be correlated with the things that he wrote. But to have his spoken words be separate from his written words, I think, is entertaining and educational.
H
Host1:00:10
Well, I know Volumes One and Two are very popular — they were Amazon bestsellers. So I think Volume Three will probably be embraced by those that are fascinated by Bill's testimony and his experiences, and his personality too, because he definitely is a good storyteller. I was impressed by the way that you decided to personally come and interview him with me at the very beginning, when you were first becoming intrigued with Bill Tompkins and what he might know.
B
Bob Wood1:00:33
That's right, yeah. I was impressed that you were wise to bring your camera, because those are the only photographs we got of the Solar Warden craft. Bill had the craft on Duraflame displays, and I never saw the craft on the Duraflame displays again. So your photographs are the source.
H
Host1:01:01
Yes, and there's — I think there's 23 figures in Volume Three of various crafts that Bill was involved in and various projects. So yeah, definitely that was one of the things that always impressed me about Bill — that there was always documentation. And he was, as you said, a draftsman, so he had lots of designs of his work on these classified spacecraft. That's right, yeah.
B
Bob Wood1:02:25
Yeah, as a matter of fact, if I could flip open to the right page, I'd be able to — yeah, here it is. This is one of the pages that he actually made. I don't know if people can see that, but that's one of the original copies of his work in 1950.
H
Host1:02:50
So that's one of the craft he designed while at the Douglas think tank. Well, definitely, he had an incredible story to share. And people naturally question, well, how true can it be, because he's talking about really controversial things. But yet, you having worked at the same company, personally, we were able to verify that these people that Bill said were running this think tank were very real, and that they were senior officials at Douglas. And while you didn't have any personal involvement with this advanced design think tank, you nevertheless knew the people that apparently were running it, according to Bill. And so it was all very, very plausible, just as Bill said.
B
Bob Wood1:03:43
Yeah, yeah.
H
Host1:03:46
Well, I want to thank you for being on the show and for giving people an introduction to Bill's Selected by Extraterrestrials Volume Three. And maybe in the future I'd love to have you back and we could go into detail on the Majestic Documents that really deserve a detailed examination themselves. Thank you.
B
Bob Wood1:04:06
Thank you, that would be fun. Okay.
H
Host1:04:09
All right, well thank you. That was Dr. Robert Wood talking about Volume Three, Selected by Extraterrestrials.
