Yeah, you know, Oz was a great friend and we knew each other for the better part of 20 years. And back in, it went all the way back to 2001 when Oz first came in to head the Metro Hartford Alliance. And back in those days, the corporations in and around Hartford had gotten sick and tired of paying duplicate overhead expenses for the Chamber of Commerce and what was called back then the Metro Hartford Growth Council. And so we worked diligently to put those together through 2000 and 2001, formed the Metro Hartford Alliance as we know it today. And we hired Oz to come in and be the CEO of the Metro Hartford Alliance. And that's where I first met Oz, and you know, he had been a bank executive in this area for six or seven years, and I had met him a few times there. But, you know, the things that we did in the Metro Hartford Alliance in the early days had such an impact on the community. And I became chairman, as I remember, in 2005, 2006. And so Oz and I worked closely together in those years, and I really started to see Oz as the person he is and was. And he was a special guy, and I just think the world of him. And I always will. And, you know, in 2005, 2006, we started something called HYPE, which is the Hartford Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs Association. And it's a great organization. You know, back in those days, we had, I think, we had 50 members and we were hoping to get to 200. And now these days it's up over 4,000. And so that's the kind of vision that Oz had. He knew that young professionals would be an important part of growing our region and growing the businesses in the state of Connecticut. And he charged ahead and we worked together to get that done. And then he also was the brainchild behind the insurance and financial services cluster, which to this day exists and is an important part of bringing the insurance companies together and keeping all the insurance jobs here and growing insurance jobs in this region. So, that gives you a little insight as to Oz in his energy, his caring. I never saw a bigger champion and cheerleader for this region than Oz Griebel. Oz is and always will be somebody that I highly respect and cared for. And he did so many good things to grow this area.
