Well guys, again, Aaron is someone who I've worked with as a young man, growing up young director. Someone who I saw something at a really young age because he had an energy to drive that I thought I had as well, and we connected with like-minded people. We met off the set ways as we let the various companies we work for, but we've stayed in touch. We've had an interesting journey over the last few years, but as it ended up, it's the most incredible estate agency concept that I think anyone worth their name has, within an industry which in my mind is quite difficult because...
A
Aaron Cox1:13
Been in the industry for 14 years now, 14 long years. That was a foul popular as many as they Asian some that are no decent. Had a great schooling in my life, working many different office environments. It's interesting, over the last maybe in the first 10 years of working as an agent, I don't think I fulfilled potential. It was a climb, abused working up to a certain work capacity. In the last only three or four years, I haven't seen it as a job. My vision has changed, and in my vision changing within very grassroots, very kind of forward-thinking, very proactive agent, but naturally hopefully breaking down the exterior typical mold of a classic estate agent. As such, we're doing very, very well.
I
Interviewer2:17
How about you? How do you come up with this vision? What made you design it this way? And possibly anyone else?
A
Aaron Cox2:24
It's a good question. The interesting answer to that is, when we set up the agency, we wanted to break down the mold. We basically drafted a concept of what every high street agent is doing, what every online estate agent is doing, what they're doing well, and we found a happy medium. So we didn't form a high tree concept, we didn't work off the online concept, we found a happy meeting, which was us. So we had the characteristics of the successful high street and the online models to maintain a good squeeze, and that's what makes us up.
I
Interviewer3:00
You've obviously approached it in quite a unique way. I don't know the question earlier, what makes you exceptional, but may be relevant. Sort of all things perceptual, what in the past, what inside you drives you to change the game?
A
Aaron Cox3:13
I have worked for a conference before, and I've never felt valued, never felt like I was a part of something. You could go into places, it was all about short-term gain. So when we set up the path, one thing that absolutely is all about creating a family, a culture, creating the right culture where people could flourish. There was a positive energy from day one; people come to work with excitement, they would be more excited, and that actually delivers results at the back of it. It's about going, it's time to deliver a better working life for the people within, and as a result, our clients see the benefit of that. But I genuinely believe you can have all the natural talent ability, but if you're boasting meeting, passion is not going to deliver because if you are not passionate about what you're trying to create, entropy is coming. You'll motivate, we're going to drive there, and only then it's...
I
Interviewer4:06
What is your height CQ? What separates us from conversation in the high street?
A
Aaron Cox4:10
No, we have the same kind of CRM system, same profile, we do the same thing in the rabbit way that others do, but we do believe we have a conviction and openness, a results-driven business, and that's the way to take on. You're a bit lower.
Well, I'm fortunate. I had an amazing education on the way. Everything that's been drummed into me, schools know what the matter, how many knocks you get and the times how many before you get so — touch the top down and go again. And that kind of rote kind of energy actually has ultimately delivered along the way. And that's what I see. Everyone we employ, they have certain characteristics. They want to be the best, they got to be mentally fit, active, and able. They want to have a burning desire to not just come in and do the minimum. They will know what extra they must do. Sometimes it's about personal pride, not about cutting corners. We believe a conviction will ultimately set you apart from the rest. If you've got a team of lions, there's a lot to see, you know you're on to greatness. But if you've got a team where you know, it's about trying to slowly get them to change their ways and become something of substance. But these bad apples, the interesting thing always is that these bad apples have been tainted along the way, they're really learning frustration. Their website or somebody else's support, as soon as you get there, think in a different way, you know we can change the way we do perceptions. A lot of agencies, and you know what, you are heading into greatness, but it's tougher to text around negotiations.
I
Interviewer6:19
It sounds like you are making a similar investment that professional athletes do.
A
Aaron Cox6:24
That's it. Yeah, this week below we've got training to an after alienated staff and you know what the guys got to know what how about taking me away with your singing about the tools.
I
Interviewer6:35
So you're basically taking away my earning potential?
A
Aaron Cox6:38
No, we were really value about house training. They're like, 'Hours amazing, thank you so much.' Because we're not well, they're not coming in at that certain level. When they're coming in, they're coming in at a level I don't know what was in shock. 'How can we get the best from you?' They've given us the answers we never know. So you're kind of asking us to get the best from you, and as a result, we deliver such a specific backup. And the star fruits didn't belittle all the way through to the top. It's not everyone believes in the end goal being it's not about today, start tomorrow.
I
Interviewer7:08
So they ask you all this close through in the whole of London. People it's a long refers to in this area in this section of London. How many other estate agents took their estate agents out of the office to turn up our case in a week to train them? It doesn't happen. This is my point. This is what wait and you'll know and this is the case whether you say, 'Oh, I said how that's got you to a what was it...'
A
Aaron Cox7:39
Something you did in your own personal quiz on you but still did yeah it was if we've always say no is it by nature is it that you think nature is kind of its pumping your was born with a skill set but amazing amazing mentors which is naturally kind of roomy along the way which you said you know what don't worry about obstacles see them as any part of the journey embrace them initialed about getting past the obstacle get over the hurdles and if nothing is...
The interesting thing is it's like now people come in to us for a solution. Yeah, if they're coming in to me, that means there's a need. They haven't found accommodation they're looking to buy, and when they come in, it's so nice to kind of wrap your arm around said, 'You know what, we go against the grain. We're not more conventional agent, and as a result, we go the extra mile for you. You want to view it 9 o'clock at night, we'll see you there. You want to view at some date 7 o'clock in the morning, we'll see you there.' Working environments of change, I believe they're changing even more so now. We're sort of that complex. Working to get the best out of your team, I send you know what, lunch time, don't go shield you know keeping out. You will see your kids at last about seven times of it. You mentor validated, you ain't gotta pass me, go and do it, do what makes you happy. Yeah, and you being happy, you wouldn't live here while I'm saying, but I think...
I

There's so few corporates number one who reject. Secondly, there's so few businesses that are prepared to run some ways what they perceive as established in trades protocols processing of unites. While the other good tips also the way that maybe and I think you know again, I've actually I did. If you're gonna be extraordinary, you're gonna be Jeremy be extraordinary buddy, extra ordinary copy or no. Yeah, so there's absolutely no that's you know the game. What's it called? Good idea of what your your vision here. Small today bastards. I'm not saying something up you like the baby it's the great yeah changing the game reflecting the script.
Your industry was clearly being affected, disrupted, daresay, by technology. How is it affecting your home? You said, you know...
A
Aaron Cox10:18
Interesting. I've been speaking to a lot of proptech companies, and they're all kind of coming in saying that agents are very inverse due to technology because they always have a certain way and it's always worked for them, but in the current digital world, it's taken over if you want more. This is where we've been very proactive. We've gone out and spoken to very proptech companies which said that this is what we can deliver. The old-school company is pushing the current market with like Timothy bands being scrapped, obviously taxation laws changing, and obviously the market at the minute, is it as strong as what we would hope? We still put deals to bed if boy upon, and what the various tech companies actually such a job easier. They were prepared to invest, prepared to say, 'Sure, you know what, this girl gets the great people. Don't spend money, people have bought businesses. At the minute, we work this works. Give my success today. You know what, that may have worked five years ago, but you're going with the tide and moving forward, progression in proportion. You're never going to fulfill the potential. Yeah, you can't have a business in this age without the word tech somewhere in there. You're wrong, you can't. Because you know what, if you are otherwise, and this is the question for me now as a new school agent, and they've really even friends. I've got friends who are 17, 18. They're not for it without, honestly, we love you. Don't do it for yourself obviously, the organism you put forward, you're gonna be what is uncertainty? All I saw was an opportunity.
I
Interviewer11:37

A
Aaron Cox11:54
Oh, why souls? I'll contribute. Allah, but the more they told me, the more I wanted to be yes. It was up, 'You can't do it.' Pushing, I will do it. The more and more no, not face. The more to know what are the biggest thing? I'm gonna go out, money, Billy. And if you miss, if you've I thought that maybe I've had quite a lot of knows on my language. It's made me like very kind of, what's the word, very have been someone is a word. Yeah, but to know what's finding that results, and if I can know, I'm very passionate about what I do. But I think the best thing about was is the quality of the job comes with work with my peers. I'm not, I'm not gonna die colleagues. So that we work together, you know a problem tomorrow. But if I've got problems, your problems, and you know, and that's that's the different. Everyone who works for us, it never works in an environment like that. It is the most pleasing thing to hear when you've got people who know worse in industry for seven, eight, nine, ten years, something good company.
I
Interviewer12:52
Well, it's all caught our attention of the independent care that they get from us is first class, and off the back of that, creating a happy environment. Happy wife, happy life, similar scenario. Yeah, deliver mother there's nothing fair for me said, you know what, when you pay an employee a middle of the comment, 'Was you not? Thank you so much, you're changing my life, you're helping my family.' That's priceless. And that's why I mean it for that's what we're making news. A main reason I would agree with the edits that some it's what stubbornness, but it's almost pigheadedness. I don't know if they're just an absolute refusal to accept what other people turn.

I
Interviewer13:33
That's correct. But I will say this, when Aaron spoke to me, I was one of the people that told him not to do such things. We know things, and he's absolutely 100% right there. In those moments, his attitude was 'Thank you very much for the advice, but he has his own vision.' It wasn't played by anyone else. And that's one of the most amazing things. Even people like myself, you know, smart intelligent, telling you not to do something, he doesn't throw something that everyone's saying not to do. And not just that, he smashes it. Yeah, this is no different to any big company. Like when I'm one of the Foxes, that's exactly the same thing they said. This is a good market. We make one, we're gonna be making them more because they're the cream rises to the top. And I think that's very obvious rise up to the top, but a little bit easy sure that yeah.
A
Aaron Cox14:24
Far from you know what, it's been sighs. There's been time when you set up a business at the start, you make mistakes, and it's very easy to beat yourself up, for me frustrated, and how we the negative connotations. But you're always, there's always been a passionate belief that you know what, they haven't been in life. I win or I learn, I never lose. Never, I've never lost. And by having that strategy, to ever beat that football, the kids, the wife, it's always kind of a Swiss progression. You know, I never go back. I'm always moving forward. And to know what I'm going to be able to move forward, I would like to know what my new stylist is. As long as it's a long time games to it, but now my music side was but you know what, there has to be a vision. The vision ferocity is about as clear as the day.
I
Interviewer15:12
You know, we wouldn't have a number of offices, more hub-like offices, central London. You know, we're looking at not other offices now in certain can Burton. You know, right?
A
Aaron Cox15:22
We would just release some statistics which are incredible. We've heard in the inspirer of London or less agreed that year in the entire of London, which is brilliant, and the only can't she's better than us were two one online agent because national and another our agent of a base of London Bridge. This is incredible with two years in child Germany. Two years and we are we rebranded with the rule book abilities. When you've got things like that that you've achieved, whatever dark moments or tough bits or you know if it was people easy, yeah, every day, but then you come up against as much again. You know what's on the other side? It's be able to sit back and actually say the best in London do that. What else, a number one?
I
Interviewer16:17
Here is kind of your philosophy. It stays somewhere else, it stays on without a visa. And I totally agree with you, there is no loss when you learn and you've got a new ruler. Probably more philosophy rather than Wolfram aware. So you never know, you never know somebody's in this game.
Listen, I think you get on and talk about some other business stuff outside of this. And I'm glad you've got to come and we charted a little bit of when we commit. Yeah, but the future sounds amazing, the future sounds exciting. I'm really pleased that we've kind of grown up in this together, a little bit, support each other, watch new things really live. When I read help and have no moments, challenge me, constantly inspiring, prop me up. One of the few people who I actually like to listen to and get input from. And so thank you for that.
A
Aaron Cox17:11
My journey, my journey has been used to be posture them. You know what, there's a time where I need to be able to get a class, a little bit experience, some coils and gut. You know, I'll be the first person I call, a job. Thank you for that.
