About Sneh Vaswani

Sneh Vaswani, co-founder and CEO of Miko, has described the company as a deep-tech consumer robotics firm built out of India that focuses on the social and emotional well-being of children. He has stated that Miko's core technology, including its own large language model, was developed in-house over a decade. Vaswani has said the company has shipped roughly half a million devices to over 140 countries and has partnerships with retailers including Walmart, Kohl's, and Costco. He has noted that Miko is approaching profitability and targeting an IPO in about 24 months, while growing at a compound annual growth rate of 60–70%. Vaswani has spoken about the challenges of building a hardware startup, recounting that he pitched to approximately 500 investors before receiving funding, and that the company spent 2.5 years with zero revenue while running 23 product pilots. He has attributed Miko's capital efficiency to building in-house tools that reduced customer acquisition costs by 80% year-on-year. Vaswani has also highlighted the company's privacy stance, stating that the majority of data is processed on the device and that Miko does not market to children or use their data for commerce. He has expressed a goal of entering 100 million homes and building a billion-dollar robotics and AI company from India.

While you know we heard, I would say amongst the many isms, isolationism I was just kind of looking that up in that era. India's role to really be able to integrate the world, both from a global standpoint or from an India standpoint out to the world. Please request you to settle down. You know, India's product is also giving a voice to new and young people. You know, the main stage, and we're going to have a short segment here. Sneh Vaswani, co-founder and CEO at Miko. We are a bunch of folks from IIT Bombay who are extremely passionate about leveraging robotics and AI for societal good. Over the past decade, one thing that we've focused on has been the social and emotional well-being of the next generation. Anyone who has kids around you will relate to what I'm saying. Today's children—the social emotional well-being of children—has been declining for the past few decades. Anxiety, depression, mental wellness challenges. You'll be surprised to know one in five kids visits a therapist at a young age in the US. And both the parents have started working, leaving less time for the child, and there is no holistic solution towards this problem. A holistic and affordable solution that can help a parent in their parenting journey and deal with behavioral challenges. 37% of parents are struggling with bullying of kids in classrooms. So what we've done, we've built a wellness platform centered around a consumer robot as an enabler. This robot talks to you, engages, educates, and entertains the child while assessing and reporting the developmental metrics back to parents. Today, the core technology of Miko has been built in-house over the past 10 years. Talking of scale, we have over half a million families who are using Miko today and getting the benefits out of the platform. We have kids in over 140 plus countries who are using the products, and over 100 million hours of engagement data building our own SLM and LLM, which surpasses ChatGPT in terms of quality responses to kids, which is age appropriate, culture appropriate, and relevant for that child. Over the next decade, we will enter 100 million homes and build a billion-dollar robotics and AI company from India for the world. Thank you so much.
