Hello and welcome back to the International Builder Show. We are here in the QXO booth and I am honored to say we are here with Brad Jacobs. Brad, everything you've done to come into roofing, to bring QXO, and now to the wider building—thank you so much. So impressive. Can you introduce yourself and just tell everybody a little bit about yourself?
Not much to know. I'm Brad Jacobs. I'm the humble CEO of QXO and we're just starting out. We're only about a little over a year old. We bought a couple companies. We bought Beacon. We're getting into the roofing business and waterproofing business. And now we're in the process of buying Kodiak, getting into lumber and other related products. So, we're up to more than $10 billion in revenue, but our goal is to get to 50 billion in revenue. And I feel we're solidly on that path.
And what you're bringing—we just sent your passport going around the booth—and what you're bringing when it comes to the Spanish community, to technology, to really build the whole building, right, the whole house now with the Kodiak acquisition. Talk about how important this big picture is for contractors to be able to get the products they need when they need them.
Well, I think the last thing you said there—you nailed it. Get the products they need when they need them. And I think the industry is a big industry and it's a growing industry, but it could be more efficient on all the things you were just talking about. And I think technology will empower that. We're making a big investment in technology and the whole supply chain and the whole customer experience so that people will get the experience you just mentioned, which is get the products, the building materials they need when they need it, on time, in full.
Yes. Yes. And the fact that you're doing it bilingual, you're getting where the customers are. But the other thing I see, Brad, a lot is that we have a lot of contractors out there who are looking at diversifying their business. You're going to give them that opportunity. If they're in roofing, they can also be in siding. Maybe now they can get into home building, being here at the builder show.
Yeah. So, I think that's right. We want to be listening very closely, very carefully to our contractors, our customers, and hear how we can help them. And we're here to help them. We want to grow with them. We want to help them grow. We want to partner with our customers.
I have to tell you, you have been inspirational to me and I am very happy to get to spend some time with you. Welcome to roofing. We're very happy to have you.
Thank you so much. Thank you. Hello. Welcome back to the International Show. We are here in the QXO booth. The top of the industry is all I can say about QXO and everything that's going on right now. I'm Heidi Ellsworth and we wanted to be here with the leaders at QXO and give some information about what's happening here in the booth. It is an experience, let me tell you. We have Gabriella and Joe. Hello, my friend.
Hello. It's so nice to see you.
So good to see you. Let's start with introductions. If you can introduce yourself, tell us what you do with QXO.
Yes. My name is Gabriella Allen. I'm the senior director of marketing here at QXO.
And I'm Joe Ceckler. I'm senior vice president of communications at QXO.
So talk to us a little—what a beautiful booth and being here at the builder show. Joe, QXO has been just like, wow. Kind of give us a little bit of framework just over the last year of really coming into the roofing industry and everything you're doing.
Well, QXO, we started last year with the acquisition of Beacon, but really our goal is to build a $50 billion leader in building products distribution through different product categories, including lumber, trusses, and all the other great areas that Kodiak Building Partners is in, which we announced the acquisition of them last week. Really excited to keep building this company. That's the goal. Use technology, use great people, and use improved processes to become the leader in the industry.
Yeah. And you—we're seeing it. You can find that press release on the coffee shops—the Kodiak acquisition. What a great—I mean, talk about what a great expansion. It's just really good. But Gabriella, you're seeing all of this.
We're really excited. We've had all sorts of customers, future Kodiak colleagues stop by the booth. Everyone is excited to bring them into the family and get started.
So, talking about the booth, this is pretty cool. And what kind of inspired the whole layout and everything you have going, this experience that we're going to see here in a minute.
It's all about engaging with our customers. So, we wanted to have an opportunity for customers to engage not only with our executives, but also have an understanding of how we can better serve them. So, we have multiple different stations where our customers can chat with different members of the team. When they stop at those stations, we're also giving them an opportunity to redeem a passport, which I can show you in a moment, for an opportunity to pick out a pair of sunglasses or spin the prize wheel to win up to $1,000 Delta flight credit.
