Praveen Kankariya, cofounder and executive chairman of Impetus, described the company as a "deep tech group of companies" focused on data engineering, machine learning, and artificial intelligence at the MP Tech Growth Conclave 2025. In a roundtable discussion on cybersecurity, he stated that the industry is "changing at very high speed with AI" and emphasized that both organizations and individuals need to take security and privacy measures. He also said that cybersecurity products should leverage AI going forward, while noting that adversarial attacks are also using the technology. In 2022, Kankariya took diksha, becoming a Jain monk under the guidance of Muni Padma Sagar. In speeches about his decision, he said he had been a model, actor, and entrepreneur before choosing the path of a monk, which he described as "the first step to be on the path of liberation." He stated that he took 12 and a half years to find his guru and that he wanted to "feel the peace, that happiness, the ecstasy, the eternal happiness" that diksha would give him.
