Welcome to Made on YouTube. For more than two decades, we've operated under a simple truth: we only succeed when our creators succeed. Over the years, we've poured everything into that mission—in order to build the best home for creators and artists. To help them thrive, we have to stay one step ahead of how the world watches. And we have a track record of doing just that. Like our early bet that people would want to watch YouTube on the biggest screen in their homes. An investment that has made us number one in streaming watch time in the US for more than three years now.
Or our bet that podcast fans would want to watch, not just listen. An investment that made us the number one podcast platform for viewers in the US. And we haven't slowed down. In fact, since the start of the year, we've launched over 3,000 product updates and improvements, keeping up with evolving viewer tastes and increasing creator ambitions. This is what it looks like to innovate in the YouTube era. An era where entertainment is built from the ground up by creators and the communities that fuel them.
Today, we'll tell you how we're building YouTube's next chapter across discovery, creation, fandom, and creator businesses. On YouTube, we have it all: Shorts, long form, podcasts, music videos, live streams. But historically, those formats have lived in their own separate corners. Our ultimate vision is to leverage our unmatched catalog to build a truly multi-format experience, where everything is seamlessly connected. Because we know that a viewer's appetite changes depending on the hour, and their feed should reflect that.
Today, I'm excited to announce that we're giving viewers the keys to their home page. They'll soon be able to create multiple custom feeds of recommended videos by simply telling YouTube what they want to see. Like, help me discover new DIY creators, or witty podcasts for my 30-minute commute. And unlike a one-off search, these spaces don't disappear when they close the app. You'll see how this works later in the show. This level of control puts the steering wheel in the viewers' hands.
But we also want to ensure creators have every opportunity to get discovered. That's where posts come in. With posts, we've expanded YouTube beyond video, allowing creators to share photos and text updates that show up across feeds. On average, more than 300 million users engage with posts daily. And today, we're bringing posts to the living room, helping creators connect with even more viewers on our fastest growing screen.
In addition to helping creators and viewers connect, we also have to make it easier for creators to create. And there is no technology transforming that process faster than AI. Our approach has always been to use AI to empower human creativity, and to do it responsibly. Today, we'll share how we're making creation easier thanks to a new generation of intelligent agentic tools in Studio. We're also unveiling new ways to edit, so creators can spend less time worrying about the process, and more time bringing their best ideas to life. I'm excited for you to hear more about all of this in just a bit.
When we give creators the freedom to focus on their craft, they create moments the world never forgets. YouTube remains the epicenter of culture because of our creators and the unmatched passion of their fans. It's been a blockbuster year seeing that collective energy in action. Creators like Kane Parsons and Curry Barker topped the box office. And their fans packed movie theaters across the country. More than 1.7 billion unique viewers watched the World Cup action unfold on YouTube. Music fans set an all-time record for the most concurrent viewers in the history of Coachella on YouTube.
And today, I'm thrilled to announce we've renewed our partnership with Coachella to remain the exclusive live stream home of music's biggest festival. We're excited to bring the energy of the desert to millions of music fans around the world. Whether it's a music festival or a creator's live stream, fandom is no longer a spectator sport. Just look at the sheer scale of the live communities we're seeing today. From streamers like IShowSpeed and QT Cinderella. On average, more than 600 million people watch live content each day. Today, we're announcing powerful new features that bring viewers closer to the action.
Deep connection and active community are what give creators the power to do something even bigger: build a thriving independent business. And these creator businesses are driving the entire economy forward. In 2025 alone, YouTube's creator ecosystem supported more than 540,000 full-time equivalent jobs right here in the US and contributed over $60 billion to the US GDP. We've always believed that a sustainable creative career shouldn't rely on just one source of income. So, we continue to build the most diversified revenue engine on the planet. That means backing creators with the largest ad revenue payouts in the industry, a share of our booming subscription business, and our growing suite of fan funding products like channel memberships.
And we're increasingly focused on a new engine of growth: fueling the brand creator ecosystem. Creators have become the most trusted voices in culture today. And as more and more brands wake up to this reality, they want in. In 2025 alone, we saw a 60% growth in brand deal shorts on YouTube. Earlier this year, we launched YouTube creator partnerships to get creators in front of more brands and agencies. And we're making it just as easy for creators to earn from their product recommendations.
This summer, we announced that Amazon joined the YouTube shopping affiliate program in the US. And just a few weeks later, I'm excited to share that we've already expanded to India and Brazil, with more countries coming this fall. This is huge. Soon, even more creators will be able to build new revenue streams around the Amazon products they already recommend. All of these efforts give creators more ways to work with brands and grow their businesses.
This is the next chapter of innovation for the YouTube era. And our momentum is only accelerating. We're excited for the world to watch as we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible. Because the breakthrough technology, the stories that inspire us, and the culture that moves our world will always be made on YouTube.
