Written from the verified transcript and checked against it. Every figure links to the moment it was said.

Claudia Sheinbaum held a press conference focused on the Housing for Wellbeing program, reporting progress toward the six-year goal of 1.8 million new homes, with 667,000 already contracted and 277,000 under construction. She said the program will benefit 12 million families and represents about 1.2% of annual GDP in investment, and that it has generated 2.4 million jobs. She defended Infonavit's restructuring of 4.856 million unpayable debts and a reduction in past-due portfolio to 27%. She also praised the PISA results showing public schools outperform private ones when adjusted for socioeconomic level. She rejected foreign intervention, citing a survey where 91% oppose it. She criticized media outlets as propaganda, and defended the government's record on wages and poverty reduction, arguing distribution matters more than growth. She closed with a historical reflection on Mexican humanism and the Sentimientos de la Nación.

  1. 41:21Why do I want to highlight it?
  2. 53:06We are already ready to lay the first stone also in Hidalgo, and to date we have land reserve to build a little more than 6,000 homes. How much is that, President?
  3. 56:38I think with this we conclude, and there is a video left, right?
  4. 1:10:26Do you have your little graph of states?
  5. 1:19:45I want to ask you, how have you felt the response you've found in the country and what balance do you make so far of this tour?
  6. 1:24:39Could you elaborate on this idea in the context of the tours and of what the trajectory of this moment of your government is doing?
  7. 1:29:12Could you comment a bit on what role young people are playing or how young people are considered in this and other public policies in your government, but specifically housing?
  8. 1:31:06Why are we going to violate the beneficiary's right to housing?
  9. 1:38:22What does it mean for you that now a public policy gives access to more, to millions of young people, when the neoliberal model privileged the interests of real estate companies?

Good morning. How are you? Ah, for the grito. Or I understood up to here, padrino. I said, [laughter] well, to all. Today we are going to talk about housing as part of the gloss of the second report of the second year of the accountability report. With us is Edna Vega, Secretary of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development; Yeli Maldonado, Executive Member of the FOVISE; and Octavio Romero, Director General of Infonavit. Since it's Monday, first comes Iván Escalante, Federal Consumer Attorney. Go ahead.
Iván Escalante 33:59 ↗
With your permission, President. Good morning to all. We begin with the follow-up of the national strategy to promote the stabilization of diesel and gasoline prices. I want to inform you that we have a national average price for regular gasoline of 23.67 pesos, and there are already almost 12,000 service stations selling this fuel for less than 24 pesos, thus fulfilling the voluntary agreement that the President recently reaffirmed with the sector. And on the diesel issue, we have a national average price of 27 pesos, and there are already 8,914 stations selling below this price. Go ahead. Here we have an example of our virtual map, our interactive map, where we can identify all the service stations and the price of both fuels, both diesel and regular gasoline. And it is practically updated every day so that families can consult the prices of the stations closest to them and decide where to load these two fuels. Go ahead, please. And in our weekly monitoring, we highlight the diesel price at this Pemex station in Puebla, Puebla, 26.88 pesos, and here in each of the regions, highlighting that in no case is the profit margin per liter of diesel more than 1.60 pesos. We are going to put a checkmark on it. We continue with those that are going over the wall with prices. We identified this BP station in Puebla, Puebla. 29.99 pesos per liter of diesel with a profit margin of 4.13 pesos, and here in each of the regions, those that are selling diesel at a high price. That is why it is very important that you consult our interactive map. We are going to put an X on these stations. And in our follow-up of the basic basket, remember 24 products that should not cost more than 910 pesos thanks to another voluntary agreement, the PASIC agreement, also signed by the President and the sector. Here we have the cheapest, Chedraui Flores Magón in Cuernavaca, Morelos, 757 pesos. We are going to put a checkmark on this one. And we have my Tienda del Ahorro Colosio in Saltillo, Coahuila, 921.70, the most expensive. We are going to put an X on it. In our comparison of three cities. Mexico City, Tlalpan borough, the cheapest, Soriana Super Toriello, 841.90 pesos. We put a checkmark and the most expensive, Soriana Hipercuapa, 888.90. Also a checkmark for being below 910 pesos. In Tampico, Tamaulipas, the cheapest, Soriana Hiperjército, 837.50, checkmark, and the most expensive, HEB Ejército, 878.88, also a checkmark. In the case of Hermosillo, Sonora, the cheapest, Walmart Hermosillo, 846 pesos and 10 cents, we put a checkmark. And here we are going to put an X for 70 extra cents at Walmart Bolívar Morelos in Hermosillo, Sonora. Go ahead, please. Well, in follow-up of the products that registered a decrease and increase according to the National Consumer Price Index, we present two examples. Their evolution and the places where you can find these products at a better price. We have identified that these two products decreased as an example, there are many more. We have the full report on our website. Potatoes decreased by 10.66% in price, chicken meat by 1.72%, and two of the products that increased, we have onions with 32.70% upward and lemons with 11.17%. Talking with the producers, we have several identified indicators for why prices go up and down, and essentially it is due to the seasonality of the products. Go ahead. In these graphs we are going to identify, in the case of potatoes, the average price of 50.94, but depending on where we buy it, it can cost us much cheaper. For example, in wholesale markets and local markets we have an average price of 29 pesos, and we have, for example, here at Walmart, the most expensive we found in our monitoring, a kilo of potatoes at 56.64 pesos. Go ahead. This is the behavior of chicken meat. Whole chicken per kilo. We have the national average price at 35.45. At Bodega Aurrerá we can find it at 32.37, and at La Comer, sorry, Chedraui, 36.60. All this information is very important. The minimum and maximum prices for each of the regions are also there so that people can enter the 'Who Wants to Know Prices' and identify the places where these and other products are cheaper. Go ahead, please. This is the case of onions, average price, 41.24. But, for example, in wholesale markets we find it at 26.86. At Walmart we can find it up to 50.58 pesos per kilo of white onions. Go ahead, please. And we finish with lemons, 29.95, national average price, and we have found it at 18.30 at La Comer and at Walmart up to 31.32. I insist, all the information is available for everyone on our website. Go ahead, please. And well, the grito is coming. In the September issue of the Consumer magazine, we have a recipe for white pozole. It is a recipe that costs 292 pesos, yields six portions, and takes 150 minutes to prepare. There we have the QR code so you can download the magazine and consult the full recipe. And we also have published a section of minimum and maximum prices for many of the products used to cook our famous and delicious Mexican antojitos. Also available for everyone. Go ahead. We finish with our Profeco tips of the week. One, pay the fair price when loading gasoline, consult our interactive map and locate the service stations that do respect the target price of regular gasoline and diesel. Two, use our 'Who Wants to Know Prices' tool and find the establishments with fair prices for the PASIC basic basket. And three, get ready to give the grito with a delicious white pozole. Download the September Consumer magazine for free to consult the full recipe. Our social media, website, consumer hotline. Thank you very much, President. Have a good day, everyone. Thank you.

With your permission, President. Good morning to all. Just in the framework of the report of the President, Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum, we make a very important summary of one of the priority programs of the Government of Mexico. Go ahead. In the first slides we are going to see exactly the summary of what is being done in the entire housing sector, and this is how it is expressed: 12 million families benefited through these different lines. On one hand, obviously, the construction of new housing, the goal is 1,800,000 new homes over the 6 years, housing improvement. Similarly, 1.8 million supports or credits for improvement, improvement of credit conditions with Infonavit and FOVISE. My colleagues will explain how this goal of 5.8 million people who were accredited at the time and who today are in better conditions is broken down. 1 million deeds and traditional credits. These first four points are the Housing for Wellbeing program, and in addition, Infonavit, FOVISE, and the Federal Mortgage Society maintain a trend for the granting of traditional credits. Go ahead, please. How are we doing with these great goals? 667,000 homes are already contracted, that is, the land was already obtained, the executive project was prepared, and contracts were signed with the different companies that are going to build. It is a very important universe, 667,000 homes. In total, what we have is 76 projects, that is, in 766 plots there is already this commitment, which means 37% progress on the total goal. And what has already been accumulated as investment in these projects is 75,900 million pesos to date. Remember that it is calculated that we are going to reach one trillion pesos as total investment of the Housing for Wellbeing program. Go ahead. There is a very important piece of data that we would like to give you in the framework of housing trends and how the Housing for Wellbeing program is contributing a substantial change in trends. Since 2012, in reality, the fall in social housing production was very important, although mid-range residential housing was maintained with this program that is providing certainty in construction. You can see that mid-range residential housing is maintained on average, and in private social housing, which is this dotted line. It can also be seen that the private sector is investing in social production housing, and a very broad trend can be seen as a function of the Housing for Wellbeing program. So, the entire sector is benefiting from the program, not just the public sector. 277,000 homes are already under construction. You can see these projects. Go ahead, please. 89,000 homes are already assigned or placed, as Infonavit mentions. CONAVI does it through a lottery. Once the project is in process, a lottery is held with the support of the Ministry of Wellbeing, which always accompanies us. Families from the surroundings of the project are summoned, a lottery is held, and that is how the assignment to their beneficiaries has already been made. The characteristics and the socio-territorial phenomenon are already having an impact. 64% of these people are women, 36% are men. And you can see here in the age ranges, young people, 33% are 30 to 39 years old, who are also young, 22%, and 40 or older, 44%. So, this corresponds a lot to the characteristics of the credits being granted by both Infonavit and CONAVI. Go ahead, please. This ultimately also reduces. We have held 30 Housing Wednesdays, President, which is very important for the dissemination of the programs. More than two events with the President, plus many others that we hold throughout the territory. In particular, I will refer to CONAVI. Our goal, I remember, is 500,000 homes, 148,000 are already contracted, 76,000 are already under construction, and this represents 30% progress. Regarding improvement, which is a very important line of work for the most vulnerable population of this country, in very outstanding projects, we already have 47% progress with 127,000 supports granted by the National Housing Commission and an investment in these improvement supports of 5,680 million pesos. Go ahead. This is the issue of improvements that have had a very favorable impact on the territory. As you can see in this graph, today more than ever these supports and credits are being reinforced in housing improvement matters, and we already have 40% progress in total between Infonavit and CONAVI for this goal, and we are intervening in very important projects such as San Quintín, Montaña de Guerrero, the Oriente program in the State of Mexico, and the Interoceanic Corridor. Go ahead. Within another line is legal certainty. We already have in these 2 years also 34% progress with 337,000 deeds. Go ahead. Among these stands out the case of the National Institute of Sustainable Soil, which is housing that had already been inhabited for 20, 30 years and whose documents are now being delivered. The progress seems little, 11%, however, all the process that must be followed for this regularization, we are already ready so that what remains of this year and next year, 714,000 deeds to deliver. There are a series of very important testimonials. In addition, Infonavit and FOVISE are also registering the deeds. Go ahead. And I would like to highlight this, which we had already commented on in a morning press conference, which was also an important step, both the constitutional reform that guarantees the right to adequate housing with its seven components. Why do I want to highlight it? Because these seven components that the United Nations had determined decades ago as the components of adequate housing, we are being very careful in complying with these seven components. You can see it in the progress that exists from habitability, having basic services, the location of the housing, that this housing be affordable, that is, that people can acquire it without putting other rights at risk, and cultural adaptation. So, having achieved this constitutional reform to Article 4 is very important to be consistent with the policy that our President of Mexico follows today, and in addition, the housing law was also modified so that both Infonavit and FOVISE have this capacity to build new housing. It allows us, we have a short video presentation that gives us an account of these testimonials that you have heard. Thank you very much.

Two years into the government of President Claudia Sheinbaum, the Housing for Wellbeing program is transforming lives. We have contracted 667,000 homes for their construction, of which 277,000 are in the construction process. More than 5,000 families enjoy a new home. I never imagined it would be so easy to obtain this home. To the President, really, thank you very much to her for giving us the opportunity to have an asset. I think it is now more accessible for young people and even for anyone who wants to acquire a home. President Claudia, thank you very, very much for thinking of us. In addition, 5,177,000 families finally released their unpayable debts from the past. I felt it was an eternal debt, that I would never be able to finish paying it. Today they gave me my debt-free certificate. Emotional, very happy, very content. I no longer owe anything to anyone. 717,000 families received a support or credit to improve their home. Thank God we were favored with the program. Parts of the ceilings and walls were falling. This help that Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum is giving us was the best thing for me. And 336,000 families received a document that guarantees their legal certainty. My father passed away 6 months ago, but finally we have in our hands the document that makes us the legal owners of that dream my father had. These achievements are thanks to the coordinated work between CEDATU, Infonavit, CONAVI, FOVISE, INSUS, and the Federal Mortgage Society. The Housing for Wellbeing program advances and builds a better future for Mexican families.
Claudia Sheinbaum 52:58 ↗
Go ahead. I also go there.
Yeli Maldonado 53:06 ↗
With your permission, President. Good morning to all. It is my turn to give the FOVISE report. As you know, with the decree issued by the President in April of last year, we managed to have a program to apply donations, discounts, freezes, restructurings, and liquidations to unpayable debts. With that, we solve these debts within the framework of the Housing for Wellbeing program. We have a progress of 321,210 families benefited from male and female workers with a goal of 400,000. It is 80% progress of this program, of this line of action, and 20% is dedicated to the restructuring that I will explain shortly. We have held 100 assemblies to deliver the debt-free certificates throughout the country. Go ahead. The restructuring from UMA to pesos is aimed at 78,790 families of accredited people, and this is very important because they are the most deteriorated debts of the FOVISE. And what are we doing? Well, not doing the update of each February of the UMA, we are removing it. The fixed payment in pesos remains, a fixed interest rate of 9% also, and all people who need a reduction will have it. Here we ask you, very, very important, because we have already notified all the beneficiary people that we have updated data, but it is very important that people continue updating their data at fobiste.gov.mx and that they enter their account statement to see this good news. Go ahead. Regarding the credit program, during these 2 years we have granted 59,434 credits with an investment of 66,047 million pesos. The average amount of the FOVISE credit is 1,162,000, and within this universe is FOVISE Women for public servants, pensioners. And we have granted to women beneficiaries 16,171 with an investment of 19,000 million pesos. Go ahead. Regarding legal certainty, during these 2 years we also cancelled mortgages for 82,528 workers. We signed four agreements so that this mortgage is totally free, and in the National Deed Registration Strategy we have a progress of 41,686 deeds delivered to male and female workers, which represents almost 49% progress. Go ahead. As you know, thanks to the initiative sent by the President of the Housing Law, FOVISE is building again after 34 years. We laid the first stone of the Carmen Cerdán housing complex in Puebla with 512 homes. We are about to open our national registry. We are already ready to lay the first stone also in Hidalgo, and to date we have land reserve to build a little more than 6,000 homes. How much is that, President? Thank you.
Claudia Sheinbaum 56:30 ↗
Go ahead, permission, President.
Octavio Romero 56:38 ↗
Good morning. To report on the situation of Infonavit as of September 14, 2026. Go ahead, please. First, talk about unpayable debts. We have discussed here that when this administration began, there were 4,856,000 unpayable debts. That is, even though people paid interest and capital, another charge was applied, and the debts kept going up and ended up being basically unpayable. Well, they were 4.85 million. We did a restructuring from the beginning of this administration, from November 2024 we started with the restructuring, and as of December 31 of last year, these 4,856,000 unpayable debts are totally restructured, all of them. Of those 4,856,000, 536,000 were fully liquidated, and 4,320,000 received reductions of the amounts charged in excess, fixed monthly payments, and reductions in interest rates. Next, please. This issue that the media have been handling a lot, criticizing, this is the reality of Infonavit regarding past-due portfolio. We received in September 2024 a credit portfolio of 2,990,000 million pesos. Of those, 608,000 million were in past-due portfolio, which means 29%. How are we as of August 2026? The portfolio has already grown because we have placed more credits. Today it is 2,240,000 million pesos, which is the Infonavit portfolio. And the past-due portfolio is lower than what we received. It is 597,000 million pesos, which means 27%. So the past-due portfolio of Infonavit in this administration and compared to the previous administration has decreased 2%. Next, please. Next. How many mortgage credits have we placed throughout this administration? Mortgages, 673,000 credits that mean 610,000 million pesos. This is the economic impact of mortgage credits. Here we started in October 2024, and this is the trend it has had per month until July, which are 673,000, 586 million pesos, and we already have the August close, which are 700,000 million pesos of mortgage credits placed. Sorry, here it goes back, please. These are the placed credits, 673,000 credits to July, and in August we already have 700,000 credits placed, and the economic impact is 610,000 million pesos. Next, please. Regarding the credits given for home improvement, as of the close of July we had placed 564,000 home improvement credits with an impact of 41,574 million pesos. Already in August, the number of credits is 602,982 credits placed. Next, please. Mortgage cancellation. From October 2024 to July 31 of this year, 249,745 mortgages have been released, and we have already delivered almost 62,000 homes, and as of the close of August, cancellations went from 249,000 to 253,000. Next, please. Housing for Wellbeing program. Next, please. Well, at the beginning of the administration and today, these are the figures. We have 532,000, almost 533,000 contracted homes. Of those, 223,000 are already under construction, construction has already started, and our goal is that by December of this year, 167,000 more homes are contracted. This would take us, if this goal we are thinking about is met, to 700,000 homes by the close of December of this year, leaving us for next year 500,000 homes to contract, and with that, fulfilling in the third year the total goal of the six-year term, which is 1,200,000 homes. Next, please. How are we doing in the placement of homes? Well, today, today we already have a little more because this is from last week, but well, 37,400 homes have already been placed among the beneficiaries in 124 developments in 70 municipalities in 29 states. Who are the homes being placed to? Mostly women, 52% versus 48% men. And regarding minimum wage, who are receiving these homes? Those who earn the least. But in this case, those who earn the least of those who earn the least. For example, 88% of those 37,000 homes are those who earn between 1 and 1.5 minimum wages. 11% of those who earn between 1.5 and 2, and 1% those who earn more than two minimum wages. What age range? Young people from 18 to 29 years old, 39% of the 37,000. Young adults from 30 to 39 years old, 35%, and over 40 years old, 40, 50, 60 years old, 26%. Next, please. Well, the total of mortgage and non-mortgage credits, this is a bit of the impact of Infonavit since this administration began, and until August 2026 we have placed 1.3 million mortgage and home improvement credits. That means an impact of 681,000 million pesos in this period of this administration. In addition to that, 54,400 million pesos in investment in the construction of homes for wellbeing. This means an economic impact of 735,000 million pesos, which on average per year, because we are about to complete 2 years, on average are 367,500 million pesos per year in this administration. I think with this we conclude, and there is a video left, right? With your permission, President. Thank you.
Claudia Sheinbaum 1:06:05 ↗
It can't be heard. Okay, okay. Look, I came up short. At an event I said that the housing program represented 1% of GDP, and it is more because just from Infonavit it is 379,000 million pesos, which is more or less 1% of GDP. We have to add FOVISE, CONAVI, and the Federal Mortgage Society. That is, what is the economic impact of FOVISE? More or less 70,000 per year or in the two years. And then from CONAVI it is like 30, right? More or less. That is, 370 is like 1.2% of GDP per year in economic impact of the Housing for Wellbeing program. And we always talk about the goal of Housing for Wellbeing, which is 1.8 million new homes for people who earn less than two minimum wages or less than 2.9 minimum wages, because if someone who earns a little more than two minimum wages comes, well, they are given the opportunity to access housing. But in reality, put the first, the first slide of Edna. If we take into account everything we are doing, it is 1.8 million homes under construction that will be delivered to 1.8 million families. We add the 1.8 million that are given as credit for home improvement between FOVISE, Infonavit, and CONAVI. Then, improvement of credit conditions, which has been the restructuring of credits, which has reached 5.1 million families. We are going to deliver at least 1 million deeds, and it will probably increase because we are simplifying all the procedures to deed the housing. And traditional credits, because not only are credits given to those who earn less than two minimum wages, but if a person has Infonavit and earns five minimum wages, well, they can also access their Infonavit credit. No longer the Housing for Wellbeing, but they can have their credit. That is, 12 million families are going to be benefited by the entire housing program in the six-year term, and it will mean close to 1.2% of annual GDP in investment, and of course the jobs it generates, if we consider that each home generates around four jobs, and 600,000 homes have already been contracted, well then there are 2.4 million jobs associated with what has been contracted and homes, and many of them are already under construction. So this program is very good no matter how you look at it, but above all the most important thing, it gives access to what we consider a right, which is a decent home. Well, let's go to the questions. Let's go over here to see the colleague.
Alberto Rivera 1:10:26 ↗
Good morning, President. Alberto Rivera from Chilango. Could you explain which are the entities where the greatest number of housing constructions exist? Do you have your little graph of states? Yes, go ahead.
Claudia Sheinbaum 1:10:48 ↗
Much of the progress of the housing program has responded to the possibility that state and municipal governments help us with land reserve. So we are doing very well in general in all entities. In the case of this land reserve, I can tell you the top five places regarding this reserve, and they are Tabasco, Quintana Roo, Yucatán, Tamaulipas, and Veracruz. It is where there is the greatest land contribution and where much more progress is being made in the construction of homes. And there are other entities that, due to urban development conditions, the cost of land is lower, such as Baja California Sur and Mexico City. And even so, we continue to advance. This part corresponds to the entities with the greatest housing need. In this case, we originally made a calculation of goals for each of the entities based on housing backlog and housing needs, which are two very important variables. However, this kept moving upward, as you can see in the Housing Wednesdays, in all entities the goal increased. In some cases it even doubled, precisely due to the land contribution. There are entities like the ones I just mentioned that are going very high, like Tamaulipas, Yucatán, where in reality we will practically be covering a very high percentage of that housing backlog. Thank you very much. Thank you.
Alberto Rivera 1:12:36 ↗
Taking advantage also that the federal attorney is here, I would like to know, lately in the matter of Ticketmaster tickets, a series of charges are being made under the legend of service charges that help cover the realization of the events. They say that these are shared among the different parties involved in the organization of the same events. They are not really charges that go from 50 to 60 pesos per ticket. Are these charges allowed, are they regulated in some way in the organization of the events?
Iván Escalante 1:13:13 ↗
With your permission, President. Indeed, these charges are legal as long as consumers are informed how the price is integrated. The charges, let's say, this legend appears once the payment has been made, right? That is, if a ticket costs 1,000 pesos, later the legend appears that a charge of 50 pesos was made. If it is not prior to payment, it is wrong. It would be a matter of reviewing it, the monitoring we have been doing, and in particular not only with Ticketmaster, but with all ticketing agencies. Even written communications have been sent to them, that all charges that are going to integrate the final price of a ticket must be informed to the consumer prior to making the payment. So, if you discovered that there is something after payment, we will gladly review it, do the monitoring, and report it. And for example, the price itself that is paid or the advertised cost of a ticket, is it not already included, for example, the service that they say is to help or that is distributed in some way within the ticket service itself. That is exactly what we have been working on, not only with them, but with all sectors. A price, for example, of some other service, of a travel package, for example, it tells you, it has to integrate. This price is integrated by the price of the flight, maybe the price of selecting the seat on the flight, the price of the luggage, the price of the tour, the price of the such-and-such. So, everything has to come itemized. If everything comes itemized and the final account adds up, and it also comes within the contract itself, because even if it is an online sale or purchase, there has to be a contract where it says 'I accept'. The entire price package has to come integrated. So we can do this review you are telling us about to see if the consumer is indeed informed beforehand, which is what has to happen, and not be surprised at the end with a charge they did not accept. Thank you very much. Thank you.

Finally, President, on another topic, could you share a bit about tomorrow the eight finalists of México Canta will be at the Zócalo and at the grito ceremony, or will the winners be there? Because, well, thinking that not all are Mexican, not thinking that or not wanting that those who are not Mexican can be there. They are the three finalists, right? The three finalists. By the way, yesterday the finalists of México Canta came out. Come on. Yes, you saw the program. Ah, you were there. And one million people participated in the voting. It really was very, very good. Do you want to play? I think there is a video, right? Let's see, briefly.

And tonight we saw eight young people with eight versions of Mexican music, eight songs that show us the musical greatness of Mexico and the essence of this initiative. New narratives, brotherhood among young people, and the strengthening of national identity. Behind each of these young people there are many people, there are dreams and a desire to transform the
narratives to build a new Mexican music.
You've already lost me. The good kind, the kind that forces you to go all the way to the bottom [music] of several bottles.
From suffering and ash, the malice is reborn. The dons you have...
I challenge you this night. I'm winning my way, at my rhythm, at my time. I have nothing and I have everything.
A waist, [music] by nature. A true princess. I want to be her prince, like in Cinderella.
Thank you for the beautiful words.
The winning people of México Canta are Tiffany Galvis, [applause] Lisandra Espinoza, and Brian Soto.
México Canta made this possible and made my dreams come true. I'm truly very grateful to everyone who is here, to everyone who is voting from their homes. Thank you so much to all of you who supported us, because there were so many. Thank you so much. This has been my dream, truly, all my life. This has been my dream. I have never, never felt so close to achieving something. Now, having this means the world to my mom too, that she was able to be here and that she felt so proud. I'm very happy.
Los Tigres del Norte, Banda El Recodo. Who else was there? La Arrolladora, La Arrolladora, sorry, La Arrolladora and El Recodo. Yes, exactly. Everyone who supported us honorifically to be part of this contest. So, there would only be the three, the three, the three, the three winners, right? In this case, and Intocable. Ah, well, besides. Yes. Very well, thank you very much.
Go ahead. Let's see, let's see here, the colleague.
Good morning, President. Jonathan Los Lozada, I hadn't seen you. Go ahead.
Jonathan Los Lozada on the network and Máxima FM. This weekend you had your tour in Chiapas, Oaxaca, Campeche, Yucatán, Quintana Roo, Hidalgo. It basically concluded the visit to 18 entities toured as part of the assemblies, honesty and results. I want to ask you, how have you felt the response you've found in the country and what balance do you make so far of this tour? I particularly wanted to ask you what meaning it had for you to find in Chiapas a very large, very substantial gathering at the stadium.

It has been very, it has been very emotional because in all the places we have gone there has been a lot of people, a lot of commitment. What I narrate when I speak is, I take the opportunity to talk about the history of Mexico and the patriotic month. And people are very aware of what is happening and of the importance of defending independence, sovereignty, and a lot, a lot of enthusiasm, truly. Let's see if, let's see if you can show the photos of all the places. We had in total from the two...
This is Tamaulipas, 12,000 attendees.
Veracruz, 42,000 in Boca del Río. Chiapas was... Look, stop there. Go back, go back there. No more... 55,000 people in Tuxtla. Go ahead.
Oaxaca, there at the auditorium of La Guelaguetza, Campeche, Yucatán. The people are also very engaged, very... Quintana Roo, 18,000, and Hidalgo yesterday, 13,000. That's what the rain caught us.
Yes, in total there have been more than 300,000 people between the two weekends. Well, from Thursday to Sunday.
Narrator 1:22:21 ↗
And in Chiapas, President, you received a book that you also shared, you made us aware of it through your social networks, a book written by indigenous women who learned to read and write and who wrote chapters about the life of the first president and embroidered it. I would like to ask you if you have already had the opportunity to read it.
Claudia Sheinbaum 1:22:43 ↗
Yes, very beautiful. Eduardo Ramírez, the governor, together with the INEA, the National Institute of Education, which is distance or open, and [sigh] literacy, they are dedicated mainly to that, although also to primary and secondary. It is a program that provides support to people who cannot read and write for the time they are studying. A small support. And it has achieved that 250,000 people, the majority from indigenous peoples, learn to read and write, and not only in Spanish, but in their own language. If it is doubled, practically, Chiapas will be raising, as they say, the white flag regarding literacy. Everyone will be literate, and I am sure that we will fulfill it because it is joint work.
And it was very beautiful because they gave me an embroidered book that is written in Spanish and in Tzotzil, and it is from women who decided to tell my life from what appears on social networks, in the documentary, or from what they have known of what I have talked about. And it is truly very, very emotional, but the most emotional thing is how they express through their own design, culture, art, having learned to read and write. So it is a very beautiful program and it also changes people's lives, especially for, well, men and women, but particularly for women, who make up a larger percentage of those who have not learned to read and write.
Narrator 1:24:39 ↗
President, the attribute of beings is not an ornament nor a quality that comes from outside. Thus, the attribute of the sea is pride, the attribute of the sun is authority, the attribute of man is dignity. You took up this reflection of Emilio Abreu in Canek during your visit to Yucatán, where you affirmed that if something the transformation movement recovered, it was the dignity of the people of Mexico. Could you elaborate on this idea in the context of the tours and of what the trajectory of this moment of your government is doing?
