Brandon Munro, Executive Chairman of Bannerman Energy, presented the uranium investment case and the company's Etango-8 project in Namibia. He said the sector runs a 20 million pound annual deficit against 180 million pounds of consumption, worsened by COVID disruptions in Kazakhstan and Canada, and faces a decade of supply depletion as major mines exhaust ore, especially in Kazakhstan. Munro noted nuclear power provides over 10% of world electricity and over half of US emissions-free energy. He highlighted that Bannerman, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, has a market cap over A$200 million, no debt, and a resource of 271 million pounds of uranium at Etango-8. He detailed the scoping study for Etango-8: 14-year mine life, 3.5 million pounds per annum production, total 50 million pounds, post-tax IRR above 20%, NPV above US$200 million at a $65 contract price. He expects PFS completion mid-year and production by 2025, with scalability to grow later.
