Hello. Hello everyone. For 127 years, Renault Group has been part of the Paris Motor Show. This is where generation after generation, some of Renault's most iconic cars were introduced. Cars that became part of the lives of millions of families in France, Europe, and around the world.
127 years later, Renault is still here. But the world around us has changed. The geopolitical environment is uncertain. Technological revolutions from electrification to AI are moving fast, and new competitors are rewriting the industry playbook. In this environment, we are moving forward and faster than ever.
Last March we released our new vision, Future Ready. We have made clear choices. First, giving priority to emotional products. Second, going full speed on electrification, from full hybrid to full electric. Third, developing our own cutting-edge technologies, especially where it matters most: electric and software. And fourth, delivering best-in-class quality and customer experience.
In short, we want to make Renault Group the reference car maker in Europe with global reach. And it has already started. Our revenue growth is up 10% versus last year. Across our three brands, our lineup is delivering in Europe. Foruno, Nucleio, and Twingo are off to a strong start. Dacia is number three retail brand in Europe, and Alpine reached a new sales record in the first semester.
We are also accelerating our third phase of international expansion in India. Bridger will be our flagship, designed and developed in India for India, with a distinctive design, electrified powertrains, and with global potential. We are also bringing new technologies into our vehicles at record speed, from new generation batteries to Gemini AI assistant.
With Swingingo, we were the first European car maker to develop a new vehicle in just two years, with no compromise on quality and design. Now it is a reference for all of our new projects. That is Future Ready at work. And this is why today, despite all the changes, I have full confidence in our future.
Why? First, because we are more innovative than ever. Look at our new Traffic van, E-Tech electric. It has just been named International Van of the Year. Built on a modern 800-volt full electric architecture, it offers the fastest charging performance in its segment.
Traffic van E-Tech is also a technological breakthrough. It is the first European native software-defined vehicle. It keeps improving through over-the-air updates, just like a smartphone. For a delivery van making more than 100 stops a day, customers can install business-specific apps, from connected route planning to fleet management. Real-time data and predictive maintenance capabilities can reduce downtime by 50%.
Let me share with you two strong convictions. First, that 2026 will be the tipping point for the adoption of full electric vans in Europe, and we are ready for it. My second conviction is that Traffic can do for electric vans what Renault 5 is already doing for electric passenger cars.
The other reason for my confidence is simple. At Renault, we love cars. We love creative emotions. And the best proof is standing just behind me. So, let me introduce with a few new surprises: Renault 5 Turbo 3E. Hit it! [applause]
Renault 5 Turbo 3 is a modern electric reinterpretation of the legendary Renault 5 Turbo and Turbo 2. It will feature a new and very innovative dual in-wheel motor technology. At Renault, we are obsessed with pushing technology forward, and we see this car as a proof of concept.
With 555 horsepower, Renault 5 Turbo 3 will be the most powerful homologated Renault ever created, with extensive personalization possibilities, as the car behind us shows.
Dacia is also moving fast towards electrification. With the new Spring, we are introducing our latest EV technologies in a completely new city car, affordable and built in Europe. With Striker, we are bringing an attractive and versatile hybrid crossover to the C segment.
Finally, at Renault, with the Espace concept, we are reinventing our idea of the... Fabrice Cambolive and Alexandre Malval will tell you more about it. Each of our cars tells a different story, but they all share the same ambition: to continue the unique relationship between Renault's brands and our customers.
And I believe this Paris Motor Show is a new chapter in that long story. With Future Ready, we choose to fight. We choose to reinvent ourselves. And we choose to start with what best defines us the best: our cars. Thank you all. Fabrice, over to you.
Well, thank you, Fabrice. Let's go to the Renault brand. Hello everyone. Welcome to Renault. When you look at the Renault stand today, you will see a brand in motion. A brand that has reconnected with its identity, with a very clear understanding of who we are, what we stand for, and where we want to go. That is what Future Ready is about: product, technology, strong brands, and a close connection to our customers.
Today we have a really already complete electrified range of vehicles, cars made for life-lovers, guided by our brand markers: designed to be loved, electrified by passion, human-first technology, and crafted space. Together, these four brand markers create a unique proposition, bringing together what Renault does best: emotion, innovation, and the deep knowledge of our customers' needs.
Thanks to our two-leg strategy, we now offer a renewed and attractive full electric and full hybrid lineup across all segments. And today we are really happy to showcase some of our latest product highlights.
First of all, the new Renault Traffic E-Tech electric, as Fabrice said, International Van of the Year 2027. This stunning new R5 Turbo 3 just behind me. Thanks to our feature tailormade program, each customer will be able to ultra-personalize their car to make it truly one of a kind. Renault is really transforming electric sportivity into a very fun and unique experience for our clients.
We are also showcasing our special edition Renault Rafale Ignition. And of course, we are delighted to introduce to you the new Megane E-Tech electric, with a striking new design, a better range, and enhanced performance.
Our strategy is already delivering results. The Renault brand has been on a continuous growth trajectory for the past four years and now represents 6.2% of the European market, making Renault the number two automotive brand in Europe. Today, two out of three Renault passenger cars sold in Europe are already electrified, making Renault a front runner in the energy transition.
We have achieved this by bringing real game changers to the market like Renault 5 and Twingo, and we have the same ambition with Traffic E-Tech for the LCV market. But you know, performance is not only about revolution. It is also about ongoing evolution.
At Renault, we believe that our cars should never stop progressing to create even more value for our clients: more range, more efficiency, more accessibility, more connectivity, and at the end, more driving pleasure. This is why we are bringing, for instance, LFP batteries across our electric lineup, making electric mobility even more accessible. This is why also we are introducing one-pedal driving, making the everyday electric experience easier. And this is why we are improving connectivity and in-car experience with Gemini, Google's AI designed to interact with drivers and passengers.
Gemini is available via an over-the-air update for vehicles already on the road. All these improvements are being rolled out across our full EV range, and this is a big change for our industry. The launch is no longer the finish line, but the starting point. Today, we can improve our cars continuously by listening to our customers and responding even faster.
As an example, Twingo, just a few months after its successful launch, will benefit from Twingo Bay, a panoramic glass roof filling the cabin with natural light. This is at its core what we mean by Future Ready: cars that evolve with people. As their needs change, as technology moves forward, their Renault keeps progressing with them.
What you have here is also, of course, about emotion. Emotion creates desire. Emotion is our bond with our customers. And this is where our legacy plays such an important role. Over the past few years, we have been reflecting on our history, not to celebrate the past, but as a source of inspiration for the future.
And there is no better example of this than Espace. When Renault launched Espace in 1984, it wasn't just a new car. It was a new idea that reimagined family mobility around people, their journeys, and the moments they share together. So we asked the question: what can we learn from Espace, and how can it inspire the mobility of tomorrow? This is where the Espace concept comes in.
It pushes the Renault brand markers to the max, giving our designers the freedom to explore new ideas and push the boundaries of onboard experience. This exploration is our vision of the future of the vehicle: a fully electric vehicle designed around people and their lives. Versatile, modular, generous. And now I'm very happy to unveil the Renault Espace concept. [applause]
Good morning, everyone. I am very proud to be here with you today in order to present you the new Renault Espace concept. This project means a lot to me because it is one of the first I've been working on since I joined Renault at the beginning of the year.
As you can see, Espace concept is clearly a modern reinterpretation of the original Renault Espace from 1984. We all remember it as a visionary vehicle that became iconic and that is in our collective memory. In the 80s, Espace created a new idea of mobility: people-focused, generous, modular, a new way of traveling together.
As you know, it inspired the world automotive industry and generations of family cars such as the Scenic behind you or the new Twingo that we have just relaunched. But with the Espace concept, we are not just looking back at an icon. We are looking forward with a very simple question: how can we take the best of our DNA and turn it into a new vehicle that would be faithful to our brand values: designed to be loved, people-first tech, electrified by passion, and crafted space.
But a concept car is also questioning our ability to innovate, to surprise, to create cars that people truly connect with, and our ability to project this strong story in today's world in a meaningful way. Good news: at Renault, we believe that Espace concept provides an answer to this question, putting people at the heart of the project, adapting to their future lifestyles with a special touch that is unique to Renault.
So, why did we decide to reboot the MPV? First, it offers maximum interior space within a compact footprint. And it answers what many people expect today: modularity, comfort, easy to use, and full of light. Further, this body type delivers the aero efficiency that is absolutely essential to the performance of an electric car. And last, its silhouette is quite unique in the current automotive landscape. It represents a credible alternative to SUVs and classic sedans.
Once the outline was set, our goal was to imagine the Renault Espace through a contemporary approach on four different aspects. The first one is an immediately recognizable styling with its one-box layout, with the bonnet in perfect continuity with the windshield. A stable and strongly horizontal beltline that expresses a sense of serenity.
The large glass surfaces and the very low beltline glorify the interior. And as you can see, the cabin appears like a glass box on which body panels were fitted to create this impression of levitation. The second aspect is an interior crafted as a real living area. Imagine the six individual seats can rotate to turn the interior into a lounge.
The middle seats fold down completely, and together with a center console, they create a flat surface just like a coffee table for games, objects, or any activities. The dashboard has been stripped back to maximize the interior space and showcase the open panorama screen. It is surrounded with light, providing an incredible sense of openness to the outside world.
The ambience is warm and welcoming, enhanced by the choice of colors and materials such as the seed fabric and the wooden woven straw marquetry, contrasting with the red lacquer of the seat shells. In short, it's a real cocoon where we see the finest interior design, a real piece of contemporary architecture.
The third aspect is technology that should deliver serenity for the users. The open panorama wide screen spans the entire width of the cockpit. The touch control display can disappear in a detox mode, and this minimalist layout is absolutely key to this peaceful mood that we're looking for. Of course, passengers also benefit from individual screens and immersive sound experience.
The last aspect is that this vehicle is, of course, 100% electric, totally aligned with Renault's conviction and dedication to electrify mobility. In addition, the electric architecture allows for a flat floor, creating a more modular layout with greater freedom of movement for all passengers. An electric platform also allows a perfect positioning of the wheels with short overhangs for great proportions.
As you can see, for nearly 130 years, Renault keeps reinventing itself and moving forward. Renault Espace concept is a contemporary reboot of the first Renault Espace with all its DNA: people-centric and joyful experience. Let's now dream that Espace concept becomes a real alternative to current body types, and why not the one you have of the future.
I thank you all for your attention, and I let you now discover more about the concept in this poetic film behind me. Thank you very much. [applause]
