Omar Omran0:25
Thanks Andrew for having me. I'm Omar Omran, the CTO at Six Flags. Actually, this is the third digital transformation that I do for a large publicly traded company. At Six Flags, I oversee all the technologies we have across the organization, ensuring we leverage the best tools and practices to provide an exceptional experience for our guests and streamline also our operations.

Thank you, Omar. Now, just in the context of what it means to be a Chief Technology Officer in today's world, just talk about some of the top areas, the top challenges, the priorities that you and other Chief Technology Officers are facing today.
O
Omar Omran1:10
I tell you, in today's world that is rapidly changing, CTOs and CIOs are facing unprecedented challenges. At Six Flags, I'll tell you about our priorities that include the following. Number one: enhancing the guest experience, leveraging technology to improve guest engagement from the website, the mobile app, the self-service kiosks, all the technologies we do for live wait time all across our parks in order also to make the experience very personalized. Number two: operational efficiencies, implementing advanced analytics, IoT solutions to optimize our park operations, reduce cost, and always improve on safety. Number three: cybersecurity, protecting our digital assets and guests' information with robust security measures. And then lastly, we really have to have adaptability, and this is what every CTO and CIO is also facing, to ensure our technology infrastructure can quickly adapt to new trends and disruptions.

Omar, thank you for that. That's a helpful explanation of some of the top challenges that Chief Technology Officers are facing today. Now, Six Flags is of course a client of Risk Ops AI. Omar, if you don't mind, take a few minutes just to explain the types of services that we're providing and the value that you believe that Risk Ops AI is providing to your organization.
O
Omar Omran2:44
Absolutely. Risk Ops has been very helpful for us for many reasons. I can list a couple. Number one, and I'd say the main reason, is continuous compliance. It ensures we remain compliant with evolving regulatory requirements. The automated monitoring and reporting capabilities provide real-time insights and alerts for us that allow us to address potential issues very proactively. It's something that we were never able to do, and I see most organizations elsewhere that were not able to do as well. Number two: mapping risks to business goals and objectives. The software enables us to align our risk management strategies with our broader business goals. By mapping risks directly to our objectives, we can prioritize now actions that safeguard our operations and support our strategic initiatives. Number three: efficiency and accuracy. Automated risk assessments and compliance checks reduce the manual workload on our team, and that will increase accuracy and allow us to focus on strategic risk management. And then lastly, all of this is helping us to enhance decision making. This comprehensive risk data and analysis at our fingertips now with the software, we can make informed decisions that mitigate risk and enhance our business resilience. So those are really how I see how Risk Ops AI has been extremely helpful for us, allowing us to focus on the things that matter and then to always stay in compliance.

Thank you for providing that overview. You know, as we've been working together on continuous compliance, there's been a lot of emphasis around the continuous risk assessments, being able to understand and measure control effectiveness, introducing risk scenario planning to support decision making, and then implementing maturity models that can help you and your team at any time understand where you're at in a particular part of your journey. Just talk a little bit about some of the practical benefits within the organization in terms of the dashboard analytics and how you're able to use those to generate a different perspective on your risk profile, a perspective that you may not have been able to see in the past.
O
Omar Omran5:15
Of course. What I like about it is you have different views of the dashboard. So we have a dashboard for the entire management to see overall how we stand on risk and compliance, and then you can dive deeper into every one of those layers as deep as possible in order to actually see where you need to either fix an issue in order to raise the level of compliance and then immediately find a resolution for it. The one thing that most companies do is you always, every year or every quarter for the ones that are, I would say, do it more often, you do a risk assessment and then you get a score of that, and that's great. But the second day that you make a change to your infrastructure or deploy a complete new code, that score that you just had yesterday is no more relevant. So you might have scored extremely well yesterday, but you are at risk the second day after you made a big change. That's something that we don't have to worry much about anymore with Risk Ops AI because we're continuously checking if we're compliant with all the systems and solutions we have internally. That type of visibility we never had before.
A
Andrew Beagley6:27
Well, thank you for that perspective. And we appreciate the collaboration that we have working with you and your team. And we're always looking for ways to implement added value, to fine-tune the services that we're offering. And we very much look forward to continuing to work together to build out our continuous compliance offering in a way that's bringing value to the organization. So Omar, thank you very much for joining us today and sharing the perspective of Risk Ops AI.
