Cabot is uniquely positioned as the only integrated carbon black and black masterbatch producer. This allows us to combine our deep expertise in carbon black materials with formulation know-how and manufacturing capabilities on a global level.

Our specialty compounds business is focused on growth in conductive plastics and engineering thermoplastics, while continuing to grow in our core segments that provide the foundation for the business. In conductive plastics, for example, we're leveraging our 30-plus years of experience formulating conductive compounds to continue developing new products while promoting new concepts like conductive concentrates.
