About Monica Melancon
Monica Melancon, identified as an alumnus of the Aundh Lighthouse, spoke in a September 2020 appearance about her experiences with anger and behavioral management. She stated that before joining the Lighthouse, she would quit jobs when managers approached her, but that after joining, she learned how to control her anger and face workplace difficulties. Melancon said she had sustained her job for one and a half years and was earning a salary of more than 12,000. She added that she had been carrying family responsibilities on her own and that when time was scarce, the platform acted like a lighthouse for her. Melancon expressed a wish that the country’s youth would have similar lighthouse-like opportunities so that no one is left behind.

Hello, namaste. I am a student at Lighthouse. Before joining Lighthouse, what was I like? After joining Lighthouse, I want to explain my experience. When a manager came and told me to leave the job immediately, I quit. But since I joined Lighthouse, I have learned how to control myself, how to control my anger. There are many difficulties at the workplace, but how to face them, my Lighthouse taught me. Now I work in retail. I have been working here for a year and a half, earning a salary of over 12,000. I am now taking responsibility for myself and my family. Whenever I have time, I still depend on my Lighthouse. You can also learn different things everywhere. I wish there was a Lighthouse like this platform for the entire country, for the coming youth generation, so that someone like Lighthouse stands behind them and tells them what is right for them.
