The medical device industry, both domestically and internationally, is a rapidly expanding industry. For our group, who have responsibility for our legal affairs around the world, it is a compelling industry both in terms of the development and the protection of our intellectual property that is critical to everything we do, but also ensuring that we comply with regulatory and governmental and other laws and regulations around the globe. We have the opportunity to assist in developing devices that change people's lives. I work with a remarkable group of individuals led by a very bright and visionary entrepreneur, and the opportunity to work alongside that group and to bring my experience in legal training and work along with people who have equal and greater experience in the business and particularly international business arena has been a great opportunity for me.
