I'm Chang Liu, president and CEO of Cathay Bank. It's a tremendous honor. When I first got involved with American Cancer Society, I was really thinking about what I can do as an individual to contribute to raise awareness for cancer, and really that's the job that I see. This award means a lot to me. As chair for the CEO against Cancer LA chapter for American Cancer Society, I felt my job was really to connect as many leaders as possible along with their organization, their team members, so that we can raise awareness towards cancer and do better at prevention, screening, and early treatment. I think really for all of us to get involved, whether it's our friends or family, somewhere along the way we've known someone who's been impacted by this disease. Cancer is going to continue to impact our society, so we need to do more so that we can eradicate this disease.
