About Marwan Hachem

Marwan Hachem, CEO and founder of Bnpl Holdings and co-founder of Fears Off Cybersecurity, appeared at the ABC Conclave 2024 in Dubai in October 2024. He described Fears Off as an offensive security firm that simulates cyberattacks on centralized exchanges to identify vulnerabilities. Hachem stated that within a few years the company ranked first on the Hall of Fame top-hacker lists of multiple exchanges, including Binance, OKX, and Bybit, and that it serves as a security partner for Tron Network, HTX, and PONX. He said the company is developing in-house tools and plans to make them available to the broader security-researcher community, moving beyond its current B2B service model. In a March 2025 client testimonial for a recruitment firm, Hachem praised the firm’s professionalism, responsiveness, and patience, noting that it provided high-quality candidates quickly. He said he would recommend the firm to associates in Dubai and expressed interest in future business, while also remarking that clients sometimes slow the hiring process. Hachem added that he had purchased tickets for the Token conference and looked forward to attending.

Doing great. How are you? All good. How's the event so far? Is this your first time attending this event?
M
Marwan Hachem0:18
Yes, actually this is my first time at ABC Conclave. Very nice, very intimate. I like it. I'm getting a chance to connect on a deeper level with a lot of people.
I
Interviewer0:29
And what do you expect from this event?
M
Marwan Hachem0:32
Well, it's kicking off the event season in Dubai. Pretty nice. It's exceeded expectations so far, so thank you.
I
Interviewer0:39
Let's talk about the company. What do you specialize in?
M
Marwan Hachem0:42
Sure. Fears Off is a cybersecurity company that specializes in offensive security. Basically, we are ethical hackers and we work closely with some of the biggest centralized exchanges and blockchains. We're trying to do our best to keep Web3 and the crypto world safe.
I
Interviewer1:21
Definitely. Okay, what makes your company unique? What sets it apart from all the companies that also have the same field? What makes your company stand out from all the competitors?
M
Marwan Hachem1:28
Well, we only started a couple of years ago, and it's a very crowded space when it comes to cybersecurity. We decided not to compete in marketing; we decided to compete in performance. Luckily for us, in Web3, all these big exchanges invite the hacker community to hack them, and they offer rewards and reputational rewards, which is a hall of fame. We are the security partners of Tron Network, HTX, and Ponx. We decided that performance and actions speak louder than words, and talk is cheap. Let's show us what you got. That's how we think in the company. The team is also developing in-house tools to amplify our findings and help us perform better than other ethical hacker teams and auditing teams.
I
Interviewer2:43
Where can we see you next? Where are the upcoming events of your team or any future projects to launch?
M
Marwan Hachem2:49
Well, for now we're strictly B2B. We're working only with security researchers. You're going to hear from us more from a product perspective, because right now we're only providing a service: security audits. But starting next year, we will be releasing one of many products related to security, amplifying the security researchers' mission to keep this ecosystem safe. You will definitely find us in many cybersecurity events and more crypto events as well.
I
Interviewer3:41
How do you see the Web3 space in five years from now?
M
Marwan Hachem3:47
Well, I hope to see it a lot further down the road than it is today. I believe deeply that it is the solution to many problems, and I hope it will exceed my expectations honestly. It's definitely the future.
I
Interviewer4:21
One last question: what do you think is the future of money?
M
Marwan Hachem4:24
The future of money is digital, decentralized, and very democratic. It's accessible and owned by all. Most of all, Web3 in three words right there.
I
Interviewer4:39
I have a follow-up, sorry. Personal question. Okay, do you have Bitcoin?
M
Marwan Hachem4:45
Sure.
I
Interviewer4:47
How many Bitcoins do you have?
M
Marwan Hachem4:49
Ooh, that is very personal. That is very personal.
I
Interviewer4:54
You're not going to answer that?
M
Marwan Hachem4:56
No, I'm not going to answer that.
I
Interviewer5:00
Okay, final question. Describe this event in three words.
M
Marwan Hachem5:13
To pick three words, honestly, it has a very different and warmer vibe than many busier but hectic events. I'm enjoying it. I'm loving it. Thank you so much.
I
Interviewer5:28
Thank you. Thank you. More of it only here at FOMO: The Future of Money.
