About Praveen Kankariya

Praveen Kankariya, cofounder and executive chairman of Impetus, described the company as a "deep tech group of companies" focused on data engineering, machine learning, and artificial intelligence at the MP Tech Growth Conclave 2025. In a roundtable discussion on cybersecurity, he stated that the industry is "changing at very high speed with AI" and emphasized that both organizations and individuals need to take security and privacy measures. He also said that cybersecurity products should leverage AI going forward, while noting that adversarial attacks are also using the technology. In 2022, Kankariya took diksha, becoming a Jain monk under the guidance of Muni Padma Sagar. In speeches about his decision, he said he had been a model, actor, and entrepreneur before choosing the path of a monk, which he described as "the first step to be on the path of liberation." He stated that he took 12 and a half years to find his guru and that he wanted to "feel the peace, that happiness, the ecstasy, the eternal happiness" that diksha would give him.

Let's talk some real content of why diksha, why diksha.
I would like to ask you all a question. Why do you guys eat food? Why do we all eat food? Any one of you can answer me. Okay, raise your hands up and speak so she can hear you. Survival? Okay, next. Any other answer? Energy? Energy for what? To do everything? Okay, anything else from the boys side? Boys, why do you eat food? Because you're hungry? Okay. Why do you guys... I think everyone here is done with their school, mostly doing their college, so why do you guys start... why do you guys are studying right now? Okay, okay, one say that girl over there with the hair left open. Yes, you can stand up, give me the answer. Yeah, stand up and get the answer.

Yes. Why do you guys eat food? You want to do something in your life or that food is required? We're eating food for the survival. Do you guys agree with me? So you have desires and you want to fulfill them. Again, do you guys agree with me? Louder guys, do you guys agree with me? We are all having so many desires, endless desires. I want to do this. I want to go for internship. I want to settle for a good job. You guys want to get married, marriage, kids, and it goes on and there is no end to our desires, right?
Wow. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. And tomorrow, here's another person with another view of a goal, different in nature completely, by diksha. So to understand diksha, we have to understand what is Jainism. We have to believe this is a soul and we have to also believe there's a moksh. Without understanding these things, you will not understand what is diksha and why we have to take diksha. I'll tell you very simple, okay, which everybody can relate to. So we saw a video earlier, okay, where the animals are getting slaughtered. So the animal is Atma, all right, and that is being slaughtered by us because we are not body, okay. We are soul, but the soul uses this body as a tool to do everything possible, everything. All right, the soul gives the power and what we do, we slaughter the soul. We don't respect the soul, we don't even think this is a soul concept. So I personally believed and experienced that soul experience, so that's the key and that's the drive which I have to pushed me to take diksha because diksha is a path, it's a first step to be the path of liberation to reach moksh. I'm not saying... but I'm saying... that's the absolute faith you need to have about Jainism and if you do that and trust me, if you believe, leave it 200 percent, no, there's no way you will be thinking it's very difficult. It's the easiest thing and it's the first step. Nothing and nobody can stop you in doing that and that's the reason why I want to take diksha because I want to feel the peace, that happiness, the ecstasy, the eternal happiness. That's exactly what this diksha is going to give me now.
Very nice.
I have a question, last one from my side. One question or two questions each of audience because you told them 4:30 we will leave them from here. We respect the time but we also make sure that we have a good nice complete coverage for all those people watching on television on Jeevan TV today. We thank you for logging in on the YouTube. This is going live of this concept of model versus monk, on that versus this, but this versus that. You're going to make the ultimate choices and we're here to create young Jain leaders. I hope you guys enjoying the session as I now ask them the next question which is: tell me about your Guru and how you felt this is the guru because in the journey you meet so many gurus. I took 12 and a half years to find my Guru. Yeah, 12 and a half years of testing, testing, testing who's the right one. How was yours and what do you want to say about him today?

My Guru, I already... I was there right there on 30th of August. I was telling about him that for me, my Guru is like Mahavir Bhagwan. He's just not bothered about any of the worldly conversation, what is going on. He will be like he doesn't want to get involved, he wants to be in his peace. You're talking about my Guru Muni Padma Sagar, so he directly... okay, so the quality which he got is from him only, right from his Guru. So he got it from him, I will get from him. And that's why I love him. Like he gives so much of the respect. When I look at him with a smile, I find peace. I feel that I can share anything even though brilliant. And that's the why I get connected with him so easily, so closely, that whatever he says, no, I'll be doing. I'll be ready to do. If he says, I'll be okay. Wow. I love... I'm so blessed to get a guru like him. And trust me, Mom and Dad, if you are listening to me right now, I'll make you proud. And because my Guru is there, my guru's blessing is there. Thank you so much.
