In interviews promoting the film, he said it was inspired by his experiences growing up in Uttar Pradesh, which he described as having poor law and order, hooliganism, and a system that was "frightening." He stated that the film aims to spread awareness about the importance of law and order and adherence to the Constitution, and he expressed inspiration from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saying he hoped for a "Ram Rajya" across India. Sahai also said that films are a "mirror of society" and that his goal was to use the medium to educate the public.
