Host 0:00 ↗
Yeah, this is razor. Yeah. Can I make a video for my YouTube channel? Yeah, a quick one. Hey friends, we're at Supercar Sunday. Although, judging by the fridge behind us, you wouldn't think so. But anyway, I want to show you something we didn't even expect. But what if I show you the reaction of Tesla's chief designer? That very Franz, the one who once broke the window on the Cybertruck. He checked out our cars today. And besides that, we'll show you a lot of other interesting things. And we're heading to the most classic meetup, Supercar Sunday. I kind of feel like I'm on stage. And there's the Plaid, by the way, parked over there. McLarens, Lambos. Everyone's here.
Andy, so where's the... They're on for one and a half million? They're on 1.5 million. 1.5 million. What do you mean? Lamborghini 1.5 M. This Lamborghini is one and a half million. Anyway, this car right here, look. From one and a half to three. From one and a half to three million. That's insane. Guys, this is an amazing situation. But Franz is here with us. He's the main designer at Tesla. Your chief designer. Tesla chief designer. And he's standing right next to our cars. Can you give us some feedback on our project?
Franz von Holzhausen 1:45 ↗
I'm just seeing it for the first time and it looks pretty impressive.
Host 1:48 ↗
So it's all new front end. New hood, a front fender.
Franz von Holzhausen 1:52 ↗
Yes, of course. A new hood, headlights.
Host 1:55 ↗
We made the new hood a little bigger. Why didn't you change the Plaid's design? You changed everything except the design.
Franz von Holzhausen 2:03 ↗
You already changed the design for the Plaid. It's wider, it's lower.
Host 2:06 ↗
But you did everything so that no one would notice. So it's like, hey.
Franz von Holzhausen 2:12 ↗
I thought the car is already really nice as it is. And it still feels fresh and modern on the road. And so it didn't feel like we needed to do a radical change. And we leave it up to you guys to do the big changes.
Host 2:25 ↗
By the way, I think the solution is perfect for the Tesla Roadster. It's like the radiator.
Franz von Holzhausen 2:30 ↗
So yeah, we're trying to air up. And we can put inside one more radiator for cooling. For better cooling.
Host 2:37 ↗
For race, it's not enough. So if you need a design for the Roadster, just give us a call. There's enough space here for air suspension and extra radiator. This is fiberglass. And a couple of days ago, some guy hit me on the track. Well, actually, on the Los Angeles bypass. He said, don't worry, I have insurance. Why did you leave the stock wheels on the other car?
Franz von Holzhausen 3:07 ↗
They're not stock. These are 23 inch wheels from a Model X.
Host 3:14 ↗
We were building this car. It was important for us to keep the standard suspension settings. But since it's wider, we use the standard suspension settings from the Model X. So the entire suspension here is from a Model X. And the wheels are from a Model X too. It feels like it came from the factory, not like a custom built.
Franz von Holzhausen 3:30 ↗
Nice. It's cool to see what you guys are doing with the cars. We like, we create a blank slate, a blank canvas, and then give, you know.
Host 3:39 ↗
I removed the lights from this area here, because it simply looks more aggressive and wider without those inner parts.
Franz von Holzhausen 3:47 ↗
I think it looks more aggressive because of the white body.
