I'm the manager of Gamers 2, and well, to begin, I would love to say thank you to all the people who make this happen for me. It's like a dream come true. Being the manager of the gaming team is very important for me, and I think for the people it's very important because it's all based on information. The manager needs to be in all the forums, checking all the profiles of the enemies, and trunking with the other managers, because it's all about the victory.
Calling it rager is not right. I think everybody on the team tends to be so disappointed with himself when he doesn't perform. Me the first, but we don't show it externally. We most likely keep it internally, but at the same time, we feel that somebody else is raging internally, so we try to help him. The good thing is that at the beginning, everybody was pretty much with the wrong mindset, me included. We were too used to blaming each other in a team. I wanted nobody to blame anybody. I wanted everybody to be helpful with each other, and if somebody fails, somebody else is helping that guy to get better. That's actually the philosophy we tried to put into the team.
The daily training life... I wanted to say something about the gamer's life. The common idea of the gamer is enjoy the life, maybe enjoy the life working, but 80% of the time of a gamer needs to be employed in the gaming. When you're playing two or three or four hours, it's okay, you enjoy it, but you also need to play when you're not happy, when you don't have the mentality to work. They spend nine or ten hours a day. It makes me so proud of them. They really work for the dream.
We enjoy more playing against Challenger teams because the screams are sort of more serious. So at the end, every scream against them is so helpful. But against LCS teams, sometimes I would say clearly sometimes we just don't have fun at all. It's just very boring because they don't play, they don't take it as serious. Maybe you could say they're not good enough. I don't know what it is, but against most LCS teams, it just happens that we don't enjoy the screams. The mentality and the way of working they had in the previous team had changed.
To be tough and be proud of it in another way. So when we came here like four months ago, we were all new. We started to know each other. In the beginning, we had no identity, but it's normal because we didn't play together. But now we are Gamers 2. We can say it a lot. We are Gamers 2. We have an identity. It's only about time that we will reach the top and we will reach our dreams, and we will be playing against the best and we will be beating them.
Outside the game, with P's and bans, we try to all of us from the information L gives us, we try to... very fast. So right now that the meta is really very early game calls and rotations early game. I would say Theud does very good those calls because Theud is very smart. But when it comes down to crucial moments, I do all the crucial moments when everybody's a bit hesitating. I do the call. Or you know, you takes all the timers, every single timer, and I'm all the time asking when is rake, when is red, when is blue, whatever, and I try to keep track of it to make a good call. Also, Mon has very good ideas, but it's not constant. He has very original ideas and very creative ideas, and he has them during all the game, but it's not something you can rely on because he...
Made by dude and pure late game. The rotation late game and mid game is on me as well.
