In this context, the President of the Nation, Dr. Javier Milei, will travel from the Casa Rosada to the chamber of the Honorable Congress of the Nation, traveling along the historic Avenida de Mayo.
A significant precedent for this institutional act dates back to May 12, 1864, when then-President Bartolomé Mitre inaugurated the legislative period before the National Congress. That moment marked a key stage in the country's institutional organization.

The Regiment of Mounted Grenadiers, created in 1812 by General José de San Martín, not only had its baptism of fire in the Battle of San Lorenzo, but also became the professional core of the Army of the Andes, protagonist of the Liberating Campaign.
Currently, the regiment performs presidential custody and guard of honor functions, preserving traditions, historical uniforms, and ceremonies that directly refer to the origins of our independence.
The city of Buenos Aires once again becomes the setting for one of the most relevant institutional events in the country.
Since the early hours of the day, an important coordination and security logistics operation has been developed to guarantee the development of this institutional ceremony.
Avenida de Mayo, along which the President of the Nation is currently traveling, is one of the most emblematic arteries of Buenos Aires. It connects the Casa Rosada with the Honorable Congress of the Nation.
