Honorable Prime Minister, Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat, distinguished guests. Today, Rwanda is a first developing, transformed, stable, and strong nation with zero tolerance to corruption. Rwanda's economy grew by 11.8% in the third quarter. Rwanda ranks first in Africa for governance and transparency. Good governance underpins Rwanda's position as one of Africa's fastest-growing economies and one of the safest countries globally. The World Business Readiness Report ranks Rwanda first in Africa for ease of doing business. Rwanda is also the second-highest ranking in Africa. It requires less days to register a business in my country. Today, India is the second-biggest foreign investor in Rwanda, and India is the second-largest trading partner with my country. India and Rwanda relations are projected to grow higher. Rwanda has access to Africa and global markets through robust trade agreements. With the opportunities mentioned, my country is ready to welcome more Indian investors in various sectors including manufacturing, infrastructure, real estate, ICT, agriculture and agro-processing, mining, cybersecurity, tourism, health, education, and so on. And so, for these opportunities, are backed by strong fiscal and fiscal incentives. I would like to close by inviting you all to visit Rwanda, home to the famous mountain gorillas and the Big Five animals. Please be advised that Indians with valid passports get one month free visa upon arrival. Thank you very much for your kind attention. Thank you.
Thank you, Your Excellency, for your address. I now invite His Excellency Dr. Alexander Polishchuk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to India. We welcome you, sir.
Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji, Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel ji, distinguished guests, distinguished captains of the industry. It's a great honor and pleasure for me to be back in Gujarat. It's for a short time I am taking part in this global forum, and I would like to applaud the Honorable Prime Minister's leadership, which is a great example from the regional leader. You became the national leader, and now you actually play a very global role, including my country, to establish peace. Now, Gujarat is very well known around the world, and I would like to acknowledge the present role of Shri Narendra Modi ji in shaping this development model and expanding it to the entire country with the philosophy to create a country who will be the global leader and to take the next couple of years on a short path to the short station, global around the economy, around the world, and as well to lead the country to your target, Viksit Bharat 2047. I would also like to applaud the Gujarat government and thanks to the Honorable Chief Minister and his team for the cooperation. We had discussions on our cooperation in different areas. First of all, education institutions, partnership, and skills development area that can serve as a long-term foundation for the people-to-people, knowledge-based. 2023, Ukraine is a proud partner country of this global forum, and we see this trust as a strategic opportunity to deepen economic cooperation between our country and the Ukrainian company and industries. We actively engage in a dialogue across such sectors: industry, education, agriculture, engineering, IT, energy, and logistics. Ukraine and India have a long record of successful cooperation in traditional areas like the trade of sunflower oil, green pharmaceutical products. This established flow demonstrates the complementarity of our economies. At the same time, this exists considerable potential in precisely sectors which Gujarat is particularly strong. The positive experience of our past operations as well as a bilateral trade volume, which can reach in the past 4 billion USD, provides solid ground for the consideration of more institutional framework for the economic engagement. First of all, I am talking about the bilateral investment agreement and free trade agreement as a logical continuation of our long-term cooperation. Ukraine is currently awaiting a response from the relevant government minister to this initiative. Today, we have the significant and practical potential for the involvement of the Indian company in the reconstruction and recovery of Ukraine. This includes infrastructure, energy, house and industrial facilities, logistics, and advanced technology solutions. In this regard, we invite our Indian friends and Indian companies to participate in the next Ukraine Recovery Conference, which will be held in Poland later this year. We also see prospects for the expanded industrial-technological cooperation in the defense sector. Within the frame of Make in India, Ukraine and India are working toward achieving the strategic partnership. The intention to elevate bilateral relationships to a new level was reaffirmed by Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and President of Ukraine, His Excellency, during the historical visit of Honorable Prime Minister of India to Ukraine in 2024. The visit, undertaken in the mid of the war, makes him one of the very few leaders in the Global South to travel to Ukraine under such circumstances. Further substantive progress along this path will be supported by the fourth meeting of the Ukraine-India Intergovernmental Commission. We are confident that the achievement of sustainable and just peace in Ukraine will further contribute to the deepening of relationships between India and Ukraine, including with the state of Gujarat. In this regard, we hope for India's continuous support to international efforts to restore the peace, which will create a stable foundation for the long-term economic cooperation and development. I wish the Vibrant Gujarat Conference very success, productive discussions, innovative ideas, and strong new partnerships. Thank you. Jai Hind. Jai Jai Garvi Gujarat.
Thank you very much, Your Excellency. Gujarat's development journey is a great vision and its perfect implementation. Now, I humbly request the Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel, to come to the stage and address the entire assembly.
Saurashtra-Kutch's Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference. To guide us, the leader of the Vibrant Gujarat Committee and our great President, Shri Narendra Modi, my colleague Deputy Chief Minister Shri Harsh Sanghvi, Minister Shri Rishikesh Patel, Central Minister Shri Nimuben Bambhaniya, former Governor of Karnataka Shri Vajubhai Vala, Partner Country Rwanda's High Commissioner Her Excellency Ms. Jacqueline Mungakira, Partner Country Ukraine's Ambassador His Excellency Dr. Alexander Polishchuk, Reliance Industries Limited's Chairman Shri Mukesh Ambani, Wells Group's Chairman Shri B.K. Goenka, Adani Ports and SEZ Limited's MD Shri Karan Adani, Jyoti CNC Automation's Chairman and MD Shri Parakramsinh Jadeja, all present dignitaries, friends from the press and media, namaskar to all. World leader and our beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today, in the morning, illuminated the light of faith and spirituality at the Somnath Swabhiman Parv. Now, to give momentum to entrepreneurship and self-reliance, the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference has started. All of you are present here. You are fortunate to have a visionary leader like Shri Narendra Modi, who always thinks ahead. With his vision, the first Vibrant Summit was held in 2003, presenting Gujarat's industrial possibilities to the world. With the cooperation of the public, administration, and the Vibrant Committee, the success achieved in 2003 proved that Gujarat can and Gujaratis will. Under the leadership of Shri Modi, people around the world started believing in Gujarat. Due to the state's possibilities and best infrastructure development, the Vibrant Summit got successive successes. The results of Gujarat have become a growth engine for the country's development and a most preferred destination for investment. Under Shri Modi's guidance, the two editions of Vibrant Gujarat have been successful. In the last 24 years, 3.57 lakh crore FDI has come. Gujarat contributes 10% to the country's industrial output and about 30% to exports. In the state, there were 1.85 lakh MSMEs, which have now grown to 41.9 lakh MSMEs. Cargo handling at ports has increased five times to 58.6 lakh metric tons. Gujarat has become a global gateway to the future. You have set new benchmarks of progress. In sectors where Gujarat had no presence, the state is now becoming a hub. In auto, semiconductor, financial services, artificial intelligence, green energy, and many other emerging sectors, Gujarat is moving forward to become a hub. With Shri Modi's inspiration, in the Vibrant Summit held in 2024, 98,000 MOUs were signed in various sectors. I am happy to say that out of these MOUs, 25,500 were for Saurashtra-Kutch alone, and 78% of the projects have already been commissioned. The districts and regions of Saurashtra and Kutch are now moving forward. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference is connecting Tier 2, Tier 3 cities and rural areas to the growth journey for sustainable development. Today, the Saurashtra-Kutch region's victory journey has started with the presence of the Prime Minister. In the 12 districts of this region, the state government is creating a robust ecosystem in renewable energy, world-class shipbuilding, agro-processing, ceramics, chemicals, fisheries, and the blue economy. The state government is also providing seamless connectivity through the Coastal Highway Economic Corridor, four-lane and six-lane upgrades, and modern airports in Kutch and Saurashtra. To encourage balanced regional development, the Prime Minister has adopted the One District One Product approach. To make districts manufacturing hubs for diverse products and achieve Vocal for Local and Local for Global, the state government has developed a concept to increase the GDP of 12 districts. The pace of development of the districts is getting a new direction. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, we want to develop regional growth hubs. These regional growth hubs will help achieve the Prime Minister's vision of a self-reliant and developed India. The Vibrant Summit has become a brand of trust, reliability, and development. I invite all of you from the country and abroad present here to become partners in this brand. Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Vande Mataram. Jai Jai Garvi Gujarat.
Honorable Chief Minister, we are very grateful for your dignified address. Ladies and gentlemen, we are now about to witness an important moment that will provide a new and strong direction to the industrial future of Kutch, Saurashtra, and the entire Gujarat. The development of 13 new smart industrial estates spread over 3,540 acres in seven districts of this region has been envisioned. Along with this, a sector-specific Medical Devices Industrial Park has been developed by the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation in Nangalpur over 336 acres. This initiative strengthens the vision of a self-reliant India. Now, I humbly request the Honorable Prime Minister to press the remote button to inaugurate the new smart GIDC estates and the Nangalpur Medical Devices Park. Congratulations to all these districts: Amreli, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Kutch, Morbi, Rajkot, and Surendranagar, where excellent industrial estates have been announced today. This announcement is another important milestone in Gujarat's development journey, which will further strengthen the state as a leading global center for manufacturing and innovation. Let us once again congratulate this vision. The industrial courage of Kutch's white desert and the entrepreneurial power of Saurashtra have together given Gujarat a new definition on the world map. This journey of turning adversity into opportunity is not just a story of development, but of strong willpower. Let us know about this wonderful transformation and global rise of Kutch and Saurashtra through a documentary film.
The scenes we just saw are not just a film, but proof of a modern Bhagirath effort. There was a time when the sands of Kutch and the waves of Saurashtra only told stories of challenges. But then a resolution emerged. A leadership came forward that created the echo of development even in the silence of the desert. This journey is from scarcity to abundance. This saga is of turning difficulties into revolution, and the architect of this transformation is the same person who taught the entire nation to dream of self-reliance with the Gujarat model. Today, when the industries of Kutch and Saurashtra are becoming the axis of global trade, it is the victory of that vision which always kept Nation First as supreme. With utmost dignity, immense respect, and the trust of 140 crore dreams of the country, I invite to the stage the architect of modern India, our successful Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji. Let us welcome the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji with an energetic round of applause for his address.
How are you? Gujarat's Chief Minister, Shri Bhupendra Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi, other ministers of the Gujarat government, MPs and MLAs, Excellencies, representatives of the industry, other dignitaries, ladies and gentlemen. After the beginning of 2026, this is my first visit to Gujarat. And it is pleasant because my journey to Gujarat in 2026 started with a bow at the feet of Somnath Dada. And now I am participating in this magnificent program in Rajkot. That is, development and heritage. This mantra is echoing everywhere. I welcome and congratulate all of you friends who have come here from the country and the world to the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Summit. Friends, whenever the stage of Vibrant Gujarat Summit is set, I don't just see a summit. I see the journey of a 21st-century modern India, which started with a dream and has now reached an unbreakable trust. In two decades, the journey of Vibrant Gujarat has become a global benchmark. So far, 10 editions have been held. And with every edition, the identity and role of this summit have both strengthened. Friends, I have been connected with the vision of Vibrant Gujarat Summit from the very first day. In the initial phase, our goal was that the world should be familiar with Gujarat's potential. People should come here, invest here, and benefit India. Global investors should also benefit. But today, this summit has gone beyond investment to become a strong platform for global growth, international cooperation, and partnership. In the past years, the number of global partners has been continuously increasing. And with time, this summit has also become a great example of inclusion. Here, along with corporate groups, cooperatives, MSMEs, startups, multilateral and bilateral organizations, international financial institutions, all dialogue and discuss together. They walk shoulder to shoulder with Gujarat's development. Friends, in the past two decades, Vibrant Gujarat Summit has continuously done something new, something special. This regional summit of Vibrant Gujarat has also become an example of this. Its focus is to convert the untapped potential of different parts of Gujarat into performance. Like if a region has the potential of a coastline, somewhere there is a long tribal belt. Somewhere there is a large ecosystem of industrial clusters, and somewhere there is a rich tradition of agriculture and animal husbandry. That is, different regions of Gujarat have their own strengths. The regional summit of Vibrant Gujarat is moving forward focusing on these regional possibilities of Gujarat. Friends, a quarter of the 21st century has passed. In the past years, India has made very rapid progress, and in this, Gujarat and all of you have played a very big role. India is moving rapidly towards becoming the world's third-largest economy. And the figures coming in show that the world's expectations from India are continuously increasing. India is the world's fastest-growing large economy. Inflation is under control. India is setting new records in agricultural production. India is number one in milk production. In generic medicine production, India is number one. The country that makes the most vaccines in the world is India. Friends, India's growth fact sheet is a success story of the mantra of Reform, Perform, and Transform. In the past 11 years, India has become the world's largest mobile data consumer. Our UPI has become the world's number one real-time digital transaction platform. Once we used to import nine out of ten mobiles. Today, India is the world's second-largest mobile manufacturer. Today, India has the world's third-largest startup ecosystem. In solar power generation, India is also one of the top three countries. We are the third-largest aviation market, and in the case of metro, we have also joined the top three networks in the world. Friends, today every global expert and global institution is bullish on India. IMF calls India the engine of global growth. S&P upgrades India's rating after 18 years. Fitch rating praises India's macro stability and fiscal credibility. The world's trust in India is because amidst great global uncertainty, we are seeing an era of unprecedented certainty in India. Today, there is political stability in India. There is continuity in policy. The new middle class in India is expanding. Their purchasing power is increasing. And these factors have made India a country of immense possibilities. I had said from the Red Fort, this is the time. The right time. For every investor in the country and the world, this is the time to take advantage of these possibilities. The right time. And the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Summit is also giving this message to all you investors. This is the time, the right time to invest in Saurashtra-Kutch. Friends, you all know that Saurashtra and Kutch are those regions of Gujarat that teach us that no matter how big the challenge is, if you stay put with honesty and hard work, success is definitely found. This is the same Kutch that suffered a devastating earthquake at the beginning of this century. This is the same Saurashtra where droughts used to occur for years. Mothers and sisters had to walk many kilometers for drinking water. There was no trace of electricity. Everywhere there were only difficulties. Friends, today's 20-year-old youth has only heard stories of that era. The truth was that people were not ready to live in Kutch and Saurashtra for a long time. In that period, it seemed that the situation would never change. But history is a witness. Time changes and it definitely changes. The people of Saurashtra and Kutch have changed their destiny with their hard work. Friends, today Saurashtra and Kutch are not just a region of opportunities, but this region has become an anchor region for India's growth. This region is becoming a very big center to give momentum to the self-reliant India campaign. Saurashtra and Kutch have a very big role in making India a global manufacturing hub, and this role is market-driven, and this is the biggest assurance for investors. Right here in Rajkot, there are more than 2.5 lakh MSMEs. Here, in different industrial clusters, from screwdrivers to auto parts, machine tools, luxury car liners, aeroplanes, fighter planes, and rocket parts are made in our Rajkot. That is, this region supports the entire value chain from low-cost manufacturing to high-precision, high-technology manufacturing. And the jewelry industry here is world-famous in itself. This sector is an example of scale, skill, and global linkage. Friends, Alang is the world's largest ship-breaking yard. One-third of the world's ships are recycled here. This is also proof of India's leadership in the circular economy. India is one of the big producers of tiles. In this too, the contribution of Morbi district is very big. Here, the manufacturing cost is competitive and it is a global benchmark. And I remember, the people of Saurashtra's newspapers must be present here, and they used to pull my hair. Once I said in a speech here in Saurashtra, I said that a time will come when Morbi, Jamnagar, and Rajkot, this triangle, will become a mini Japan. My joke was made fun of. Today, the reality is in front of my eyes. We are also very proud of the Dholera Special Investment Region. Today, this city is becoming a very big center of modern manufacturing. In Dholera, India's first semiconductor fabrication facility is being prepared. This region is giving an early mover advantage for future technology. That is, the land is completely ready to increase your investment in this region. Infrastructure is ready. Policy is predictable and the vision is long-term. Friends, Saurashtra and Kutch are also becoming a big hub for India's green growth, green mobility, and energy security. In Kutch, a 30 GW capacity renewable energy park is being built. This will be the world's largest hybrid energy park. You can imagine, this park is five times bigger than Paris city. That is, in this region, clean energy is a commercial scale reality along with a commitment. You are all familiar with the potential of green hydrogen. Unprecedented speed and scale work is going on in this direction in India. Here, Kutch and Jamnagar are becoming major centers for green hydrogen production. A huge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is also being established in Kutch. That is, along with renewable energy, grid stability and reliability are also being ensured. Friends, Saurashtra and Kutch have another very big potential. This region is equipped with India's world-class ports. A very large part of India's exports passes through here. Ports like Pipavav and Mundra have become major hubs for India's automobile exports. Last year, about 1.75 lakh vehicles were exported from Gujarat's ports. Not just logistics, there are immense possibilities for investment in every aspect of port-led development here. Along with this, the Gujarat government is also giving special priority to the fisheries sector. Big work has been done on fisheries infrastructure here. There is a strong ecosystem ready for investors related to seafood processing. Friends, along with infrastructure, an industry-ready workforce is the biggest need today. And Gujarat gives investors complete certainty on this front. Here, there is an international ecosystem of education and skill development. Gujarat government's Kaushal Skill University is preparing youth for future-ready skills. It is working in collaboration with universities in Australia and Singapore. The National Defence University is India's first national-level defense university. Gati Shakti University is preparing skilled manpower for road, railway, airway, waterways, and logistics sectors. That is, along with investment, the talent pipeline is also assured here. Today, many foreign universities are seeing new opportunities in India. And Gujarat is becoming a preferred destination for them. Two major universities from Australia have started their campuses in Gujarat. In the coming time, this number is going to increase further. Friends, Gujarat has nature, adventure, culture, and heritage. That is, you will get the tourism experience you want here. Lothal is a symbol of India's 4,000-year-old maritime heritage. The world's oldest man-made dockyard has been found here. A National Maritime Heritage Complex is being prepared here. Nowadays, the Rann Utsav is also being organized in Kutch. Staying in the Tent City here is a different experience. Friends, for those who are fond of jungles and wildlife, what better experience can there be than the Gir Forest and the Asiatic Lion? More than 9 lakh tourists come here every year. For those who like the sea, there is Shivrajpur Beach, which is Blue Flag certified. Besides this, there are many possibilities for beach tourism in Mandvi, Somnath, and Dwarka. There is diving in Poshina. Diving is becoming a great destination for water sports and beach games. That is, this entire region is full of potential for you investors. You must take full advantage of it. And I have been saying for a long time, if you delay, don't blame me. Every investment of yours in Saurashtra-Kutch will give momentum to Gujarat's development. It will give momentum to the country's development. And the strength of Saurashtra... The High Commissioner of Rwanda was saying that when I went to Rwanda, I gifted 200 cows there. These 200 cows were our Gir cows. But there is a specialty, when we gave 200 cows for the rural economy there, there is a rule that you will get the cow, but you have to return its first calf. And we give that to another family. That is, from those 200 cows, thousands of families have now received cows. It is giving great strength to Rwanda's rural economy, and Gir cows are visible in every house. This is my Saurashtra. Friends, today's India is working rapidly towards the goal of becoming a developed country, and Reform Express has a very big role in achieving this goal. Reform Express means next-generation reform in every sector. Like recently, the country implemented next-generation GST reforms. Its good effect was seen in every sector. Especially our MSMEs are benefiting a lot. Riding on Reform Express, India has done a very big reform in the insurance sector. India has approved 100% FDI in the insurance sector. This will give momentum to the campaign to provide 100% insurance coverage to the countrymen. Similarly, after about six decades, the Income Tax Act has been modernized. This will benefit crores of taxpayers. India has also implemented historic labor reforms. Therefore, wages, social security, and industry have all got a unified framework. That is, whether it is a worker or industry, everyone benefits from this. Friends, today India is becoming a global hub for data-based innovation, AI research, and semiconductor manufacturing. That is, India's power demand is continuously increasing. India needs assured energy. And a very big medium for this is nuclear power. Keeping this in mind, we have also reformed the nuclear power sector. In the last session of Parliament, through the Atomic Energy Act, India has opened civil nuclear energy for private partnership. This is a very big opportunity for investors. Friends, I assure all the investors present here that our Reform Express is not going to stop now. India's reform journey has moved towards institutional transformation. Friends, you have not come here just with MOUs. You have come here to connect with the development and heritage of Saurashtra-Kutch. I assure you that every penny of your investment will give a magnificent return here. Once again, my best wishes to all of you. I also appreciate and congratulate the Gujarat government and the Gujarat team for their efforts. Perhaps in 2027, they will have the Vibrant Summit. Before that, this regional summit is a good experiment, and I am happy that the work which I got the opportunity to start, today when it is being expanded by my colleagues and getting new energy, the joy multiplies many times. I congratulate you all. I wish you all the very best. Thank you.
Honorable Prime Minister, we are deeply grateful for your inspiring and energetic address. Your words have given a new vision and unbreakable trust to Kutch, Saurashtra, and the entire nation. We are fully committed to fulfilling your vision of a developed India. Thank you, Honorable Prime Minister, sir, for your unwavering leadership and for inspiring a billion dreams. As our Honorable Prime Minister departs, let the applause ring out for Gujarat.
Today, you have addressed all the candidates present. For the vote, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and our successful Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis ji, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and the many development-inspired works have satisfied the people of Mumbai. They now want a triple-engine government. A massive victory, a historic victory is going to happen in the Municipal Corporation under the leadership of Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party's Devendra Fadnavis ji. And I am fully confident that Mumbai, which today is the pride of the country and makes India's name proud in the world, will be known as an international city in the coming days and will progress rapidly. Inclusive development will happen. India's infrastructure will become second to none, in which Mumbai will have the first place. And if there is development and trust in the life of every Mumbaikar, it is on Devendra Fadnavis and Narendra Modi ji, Eknath Rao Shinde, and all the candidates here. Sir, there are two days left for the election, sir. What appeal do you want to make to the people for the remaining campaign? I am fully confident that in North Mumbai, more than 90% of the 42 seats will be won by the Bharatiya Janata Party and Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde group. And North Mumbai will get the full blessings, cooperation, and support of the public to make it the best Mumbai. I want to appeal to them that every single vote is valuable. Every single vote is precious. Every person should encourage themselves, their friends, neighbors, colleagues, relatives, everyone, and make their candidate, whether it is the lotus or the bow and arrow, victorious and give the Mahayuti a chance in the Municipal Corporation with a massive majority to serve the public. Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena is saying that BJP is doing credit theft. We built the Coastal Road and they are doing credit theft.
Sir, what is your response to Uddhav Thackeray's claim of credit theft regarding the Coastal Road?
The people of Maharashtra have given a strong reply to their misleading and false statements, whether in the assembly or municipal corporation elections. They have been reduced to single digits out of 288. Uddhav Thackeray ji is left with single digits, so he is trying to mislead out of compulsion. But I am fully confident that the sensible people of Mumbai will not make wrong decisions based on these statements and will reduce Shiv Sena and Congress to single digits in the Mumbai Municipal Corporation as well. PM Modi works himself.
I will not say anything for 100 days. Democracy has lost, the machinery has won. Besides, he has said that he will not speak for 100 days. This is a government formed by deceit and fraud. Insulting the mandate in this way has become the reason for the theft of their mandate. The very basis of their vote theft has been stolen. The reason is that these people did not win democracy, but the system won.
Sometimes you blame the EVM, sometimes the SIR. This is the system that is fine if it works for you, but if not, then it's wrong. When these people form governments in their states, it's fine, but where they lose, there is malpractice. Until they sit and reflect, the ground is slipping from under their feet. It's not from today, it's been slipping since 2010. After 2005, when the mandate came to NDA in 2010, it became clear where RJD and Congress stand. If Nitish Kumar ji had not been Chief Minister in 2015, RJD would never have revived. And in 2020, if the united NDA had remained and we hadn't fought separate elections, RJD would never have revived. So their mandate and base have completely slipped from under their feet. There is despair among their party's MLAs, leaders, and workers. Their silence is wrong. The session runs for a long time. You are the Leader of the Opposition. You are not an ordinary MLA. You hold a position. When the session is running, you are not present. It's been so long since the results came, and you haven't engaged with your workers, explained the reasons, or held discussions. If you don't reflect, these people have barely reached double digits. The day is not far when the number of opposition members might be less than the number required for the Leader of the Opposition's post.
He has said that he will not say anything against the government's policies for 100 days. Don't speak, brother. Don't speak. You will speak when you have something to say. What will you say? First, you should speak about your own defeat and why the public rejected you so badly. You should answer that. On the 18th, you were taking the oath of Chief Minister, right? This arrogance, this style of functioning, this lack of communication has been the reason for such results. Don't speak for 100 days, brother, don't speak for 5 years, what difference does it make?
Will the government fulfill the things it has promised? Absolutely, look. Absolutely, look. In fact, I would want this. This is the role of the opposition. How can you play a role by remaining silent? Ask us questions. This is the beauty of democracy. And we are ready to answer. Even today, when I was speaking on the bill, I said the same thing. Ask me questions on merit. Discuss the merits of this bill. You are only confusing people with the naming. Discuss on merits. Ask us questions on the manifesto from time to time. We will answer your questions because this government has come with the sole intention of working.
And he said that the people have lost and the system has won. The people have lost. Democracy has lost, and the system has also won. People have won illegally. This is the problem. We keep saying that these people are just deflecting from their defeat. I would urge the RJD and opposition leaders to reflect on their defeat. Until you do that, you won't understand. These people are not losing elections from today. They have been losing elections continuously since 2010. RJD can never imagine coming back on its own strength after 2005. They needed Nitish Kumar ji's support in 2015, or a divided NDA in 2020 when we fought alone, which benefited them. The reality is that the public has not forgotten the jungle raj during their tenure. That is why when they blame the system, they must understand that the public has rejected them. The very basis of their vote theft has been stolen.
I think Eknath Shinde was also in power in the municipal corporation, and so was the BJP. In the last 25 years, these people have turned Mumbai into a mess, including looting. Today, you see that Mumbai has been sold to one person, and the people sitting in the government did it because it happened during the administrator's time. So I think how much of Mumbai is left to save? After winning the election, they will sell the remaining Mumbai too. They should declare this in their manifesto. They should declare a white paper on what was sold to one person during the administrator's time. They should not fool Mumbaikars with this manifesto of lies. This is our role.
Congress had written a letter to the Election Commission to give the Ladli Bahin money after the election. On this, Bhawankule has said that this is a jihad by Congress against sisters. Look, Bhawankule is heavily influenced by power. The language of jihad is not Bhawankule's. It has been given to him by some RSS people. I think the Ladli Bahin scheme, for which the government is issuing receipts in the name of Ladli Bahin, has stopped the state's development. There are no roads in the state. Many villages still don't have drinking water. The government says it has no money to give to farmers. There is no money to give jobs to the unemployed here. And they say that because of Ladli Bahin, our treasury is empty. So they are trying to put the entire blame on our Ladli Bahin. They should be realistic. After giving ₹1500 to Ladli Bahin, you increased inflation from that very month. I gave you one example of petrol, I will give more. Our state government used to take ₹30 on petrol and diesel. As soon as money was given to Ladli Bahin, it was increased by ₹1.5. Now they are taking ₹40.50 on diesel and petrol. In this way, they have increased prices in everything. They gave ₹1500 to Ladli Bahin and increased inflation by ₹5000. So these dishonest people have no right to talk about Ladli Bahin and use words like jihad. Congress has always given respect to sisters. Today, you people have taken a rapist of a minor girl studying in a school into the BJP's fold in Amarnath, showing that you arrange to bring rapists to power. So who is doing the jihad, Bhawankule ji, you understand. Stop defaming Congress by using such big words. Your reality has come before Ladli Bahin. Ladli Bahin will not vote for you.
What is your name, sir? I am Sanjay Gupta, Joint Managing Director of Gujarat Metro. Today, PM Narendra Modi is going to flag off the metro rail. What can you tell us about it? Honorable Shri Narendra Modi ji inaugurated our Phase 2 in September 2024 from Motera Stadium to Sector 1. Today, he will inaugurate the entire line from Sector 1 to Mahatma Mandir station, which includes seven stations. After today's inauguration, public travel will start on this line.
And what other events are there today? The special thing about this is that the new stations being added, where our train service was not yet operational, include Akshardham, Sector 16, Sector 24, Juna Sachivalaya, and Mahatma Mandir. As you know, Akshardham is a world-famous temple of Swaminarayan Bhagwan, where devotees come from all over the country and abroad. It will be very convenient for them. Anyone coming from outside by train can get off at Kalupur railway station, which has multimodal integration with our metro station. They can take the metro from there to Old High Court, change there, and go directly to Akshardham temple and return. Similarly, our Juna Sachivalaya has many government offices. It will be very convenient for our Ahmedabad employees and officials to take the train from there and go directly. Sectors 16 and 24 will also benefit many residents of Gandhinagar. The biggest connection is with Mahatma Mandir. As you know, it is a very large convention center where many conferences and conventions are held. Delegates from outside India can come directly by metro to Mahatma Mandir station, and the convention center is at a walking distance. Along with this, connectivity is also being provided to Dandi Kutir, Kotlila, and Gandhinagar Capital Railway Station. And one of the visions of our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji is multimodal integration, and this is the best example of it. We have directly connected Mahatma Mandir station to Gandhinagar Capital station with a 335-meter FOB, which has six travelators, two lifts, and two escalators. So any passenger traveling by Indian Railways and coming to Gandhinagar Capital Railway Station can directly take the travelator from the FOB to our Mahatma Mandir metro station and go to any corner of Ahmedabad where our network extends. This is a very big gift that the honorable Prime Minister is giving to the people of Ahmedabad today. We are very grateful to the honorable Prime Minister who conceptualized this. He laid the foundation stone in 2021, and today in 2026, he is inaugurating it. Part of it was already inaugurated on September 16, 2024. Now, with the completion of the remaining part, our entire project is being completed today.
Are there any plans to extend the route from Mahatma Mandir in the future? We have more plans to expand the network in Ahmedabad and other places. As you know, the Commonwealth Games have also been announced for 2030. So we have many more plans underway to connect that as well.
What happened? Look, the Congress Seva Dal camp has traditionally always been held. I congratulate Dr. Pramod Pandey ji for organizing this camp and giving me an opportunity to reflect and talk about the country's situation. The camp has traditionally always been held in Prayagraj whenever there is a Magh or Kumbh fair.
The name of Nandgaon has been changed to Ramji Ram, and they say that this was the biggest center of corruption. If they had changed the name to Ram, it would have been fine. They wanted to remove Gandhi's name. Where is the word Ram in this? Can anyone find it? Radha. Okay. They have removed the word Gandhi. I say with certainty that Godse ended Gandhi's life by firing three bullets, and the current BJP has murdered Gandhi once again by making a law, amending it, and running a bulldozer of majority. This will stop the development and upliftment of villages. This was the dream of Mrs. Sonia Gandhi. I want to say that removing Gandhi's name from MGNREGA is very unfortunate. When people were with the British and Gandhi was removing the British, the same jealousy, the same malice, the same pain led to the removal of Gandhi's name from MGNREGA.
Sir, the way you compared the BJP's working style to the British from the stage... I am doing it from there and here too. The working style of the Bharatiya Janata Party government is exactly like the British government's working style. Just as the British government practiced divide and rule in the name of religion, caste, and language, the Bharatiya Janata Party, following the British tradition, is ruling India by dividing and ruling. They also didn't respect the constitution, didn't respect the rights of the common man, and didn't give equal voting rights. The Bharatiya Janata Party's effort is also that everyone doesn't get equal rights. The Chief Minister himself visited the first region and gave a speech in Santosh about Bangladesh, saying that if we are not united, we will be cut. He will be upset with Delhi if minorities are being killed in Bangladesh. This is a failure of the Modi government that they are not able to raise a strong voice and stop Bangladesh. I want to say that there was an Indira Gandhi. When similar atrocities happened, she created Bangladesh in 14 days. Modi ji, you are weak. Your leadership is weak. Go to Indira Gandhi's samadhi, pay your respects, ask for strength from her, and say give us so much strength that we can protect the minorities being persecuted there.
Sir, the way youth were found in the Ayodhya Ram Mandir... Look, these are all tricks and gimmicks of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Let the investigation happen, the truth will come out. Why didn't they stop them? They say a person is identified by his attire. So look at the attire of those who were found today in the newspapers. Why were they allowed inside the temple? So without the Bharatiya Janata Party's knowledge, they had reached there.
What will be the next step regarding the SIR? With the way the opposition is going on. Congress will announce a one-month program tomorrow. This is our program going forward, and we will explain our roadmap in detail.
Sir, what do you think about the Magh Mela and Mahakumbh? Will it increase the vote bank with the way the event is being organized? Now the days of decline and fall of the Bharatiya Janata Party have come. Whatever they do now will decrease their votes. If there was purity in the Kumbh where people were taking a bath and getting a new life, the confluence of corruption was also happening there. So much corruption happened in this fair as never happened before.
The development that has happened in the last 20 years is very amazing and praiseworthy. We look forward to seeing how much more investment will come here, and there are many possibilities for development. Our Prime Minister has inaugurated many new schemes today for the development of Kutch and Saurashtra. There was an inauguration of many new works for Kutch, Saurashtra, and Gujarat today. It is a very big thing for me that I also got the opportunity to present my voice among them. Thank you.
What benefit will Kutch and Saurashtra get from Vibrant Gujarat regarding business? I am from Kutch, so I can tell you that Sahib has done a lot for Kutch. Through Vibrant Gujarat, he has put forward many new schemes for Kutch and Saurashtra. Today, many new schemes were unveiled here, which is a very big thing for the future. Thank you.
Sir, what will you say about today's movement? Prime Minister... No. It was... Louder. No, I belong to Rajkot, and participating in this Vibrant Gujarat event for Saurashtra and Kutch feels very good. Gujarat has made a lot of progress, and so has India. So may this progress continue. And it was an honor to be part of this event. Thank you.
If any Hindu is killed in Pakistan, the country's government should take action and take concrete steps. What is the use of sitting here and crying? It is happening in Bangladesh, it is happening in Pakistan. Hindus are being killed. Does this mean we should start politics here or take concrete action against these countries? The countrymen will have to think about this.
This is the first time an event is being organized in Balod. A Youth Parliament was also organized today. Today, about 19,000 youths from all over the country have come to Balod. They spend the day in different activities in Balod and stay in tents. They have different activities from different states, cultural activities, social activities, and sports activities. This instills patriotism, hard work, and knowledge of the country's problems in the new generation. When they stay under one tent, children from different states of India meet each other, play together, and see each other's culture, dance, and songs. The feeling of national unity that Modi ji talks about is awakened. Today, the whole of India is there for three to five days. When I went to that event, there was a parliament program for an hour and a half to inform the new team and new generation about the parliamentary process and rules. The roles of the treasury and opposition benches, adjournment motions, and the responsibilities of MLAs were discussed. It was an opportunity to give parliamentary knowledge. The children participated with great interest. It was a very good event organized by our School Education Minister Yadav ji. It was very successful, and everyone participated.
The ED has filed a petition in the Supreme Court stating that the West Bengal government and Mamata Banerjee have obstructed their action. They say that the investigation should be conducted by the central agency CBI. Whoever opposes the ED, first of all, if the ED is taking action, it is doing so based on evidence. They should cooperate with the ED. If their side is correct, impartial, honest, and there is no corruption, then there is no need to fear the ED. If 15 people are walking on the road and the police come, two people run away fast. Who are those two people? They are the ones who fear the uniform and run away. When their conscience is guilty, they shout. That is why the action is opposed.
Owaisi has said that one day the country's Prime Minister will be a woman in a hijab. Now, no one can stop anyone from imagining or thinking. If a person is thinking, why stop them? There is no cost to dreaming in India, brother.
What is this shrine? What is the matter? Please explain fully. This shrine is hundreds of years old. It is the shrine of Hazrat Syed Shaheed Abdul Ghani Shah Baba, who is a martyr. It is hundreds of years old. Its new construction has been done in the last 10-15 years. It was very small before. Now its grandeur is pricking people's eyes. In '93, we got the Intekhab done in the name of Intekhab Dargah. The land... So what happened now is that a case was filed in the SDM's court, and the decision came within two months. Either your land was fake, or we declare it barren. So our land was cut and declared barren. After that, there was a case about the map. We had the map earlier. Later, the map was cancelled, and a case was filed in the SDM's court. The decision has not come yet. But there is oral information that the decision to demolish has come. But the copy of the decision is not yet here. What are you doing now? Are you vacating it? We don't have a bulldozer. Otherwise, we would have demolished it ourselves. Now if the Tehsildar comes with his bulldozer to demolish it, we are in his cooperation. What is your name? Mohammad Rashid Khan, President of the Dargah Committee.
I am returning after completing my two-day visit. It was a very good visit to the entire Shivpuri district and Gwalior. We have also secured many schemes. Many substations, roads, and post office modernization inaugurations. And a very big thing for Shivpuri is a postal training college from the Ministry of Communications and Postal Affairs. There are only six in the entire country today: Mysore, Vadodara, Bengaluru, Saharanpur, and one or two other places. Now the seventh one is going to be built in Shivpuri. It is an ₹11 crore scheme whose foundation stone I will lay in the next visit. But I have announced it today in Shivpuri.
Maharaj Sahib, it will be almost 365 years since the Battle of Panipat. How are you going to celebrate it this time? Please be quiet about the Battle of Panipat. On the day of Makar Sankranti, January 14, 1761, where the Maratha army sacrificed their lives in the service of Mother India. They faced the army of Pathans, Ahmad Shah Abdali, and Rohilla Najibuddaulah. An army of 1 lakh faced an army of 10 lakh. And if it hadn't rained that night, we would have destroyed the Afghan and Rohilla with our cannonballs and gunpowder. But that day, all our commanders, the nephew of the Peshwa, Sadashiv Bhau, who was leading, his son Vishwasrao, 16 scions of the Scindia family, together sacrificed their lives for Mother India. Mahadji Shinde was the only one left, wounded on the battlefield. A priest recognized him, took care of him, and in 10 years, Mahadji Shinde raised an army again and fought against the Pathans, Ahmad Shah Abdali, and Najibuddaulah to take revenge. On February 10, 1771, Mahadji Shinde captured Shah Alam II at the Red Fort, hoisted the saffron flag, and established the empire of Hindustan from Attock to Cuttack and from Bharuch, Gujarat to Prayagraj. Today, I pay tribute to all those martyrs. I have personally visited Panipat. I have marked a place there called Kala Amb. And Kala Amb because the berry tree turned black with blood that day. I bow to all those martyrs. To maintain the unity and integrity of India, I bow to all 16 of my ancestors whose heads were cut off and put on spears. And India is progressing today under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Globally, India's culture, spiritual power, and economic power, all combined with the thought of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, India.
Asaduddin Owaisi says that one day a daughter of Punjab will become the country's Prime Minister. The leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party say, look, there are people planted in the BJP. One asks a question, and the other answers. This sends a message to the Syed community. Those doing Hindu-Muslim politics are not well-wishers of Hindus or Muslims. They want to create controversy. When elections come, they see these things. After that, they become quiet. This is their only approach. The atrocities and killings of Hindus in Bangladesh are not stopping. What would you like to say about this? It is wrong. If such things are happening to any minority in any country, it is wrong. There is a lot of discussion about the Brahmin meeting in UP politics. Ask the BJP, they will give a better answer. A darbar in the Ram Mandir... Look, no one should encroach on anyone's religious site. If worship is happening there, let it remain a place of worship. No one should do anything wrong. There is a big attack on the SIR. People's names have been cut continuously. What do you have to say about this? As far as our area is concerned, we are looking into it because it is our responsibility. Our in-charge for the SIR is here, Khurshid Sahib. So we are looking into it. But here, we are trying our best that the voter's vote is not cut. This month is very crucial for us. So we will work more consciously in this. Okay, it's done.
The Somnath Temple... The Prime Minister should tell who are the people who tried to erase history. The Prime Minister won't be able to name them because there is no history. BJP leaders create history themselves. They have no connection with history. What the Prime Minister is saying has no connection with the truth. He should tell who opposed the Somnath Temple. Who were the people who didn't want to build the Somnath Temple? The inauguration of the Somnath Temple was done by a great Congress leader, India's President Dr. Rajendra Prasad. And what were the RSS people doing? They had stopped you from building the Somnath Temple. You are pointing fingers at others. Why didn't the RSS build the Somnath Temple? You people were standing with the British. What did the Somnath Temple have to do with that time? It is after independence that you started the politics of temples and mosques. Now you remember the Somnath Temple and Ram Mandir. Before this, you didn't remember the Ram Mandir or the Somnath Temple.
Sir, after the Prime Minister's speech at the Somnath Temple, it is becoming like a political festival. There is a lot from the opposition and the power side. The Prime Minister only does politics by inciting religious sentiments. 11 years ago, there was no politics of temples, mosques, Hindus, or Muslims in this country. Since the Bharatiya Janata Party government came, they have made religion a part of politics. They do politics by inciting religious sentiments. Sometimes the Prime Minister goes to the Ram Mandir, sometimes to Somnath, sometimes sits in a cave. But he doesn't worship. He takes all the media. Does anyone in India or the world worship like this? Worship is done silently, in solitude. But our Prime Minister takes the media and does politics. He has made the temple a part of politics.
Sir, Asaduddin Owaisi is visible. Owaisi says there will be a Prime Minister in a burqa. Asaduddin Owaisi says this can never happen. Now Owaisi has made another comment. He says he believes Pakistan follows the constitution. Look, I won't get into this fight, but I will only remind you that who will become the Chief Minister? Who will become the Prime Minister? This decision will not be made by the Chief Minister of Assam or Owaisi. This decision is made by the people of the country and the provinces. In this country, Dr. Zakir Husain, Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, Abdul Kalam, all of them have been Presidents of India. They have been above the Prime Minister. In a place like Maharashtra, where the Muslim population is barely 10%, Abdul Rahman Antule has been Chief Minister. Ghafoor Sahib has been in Bihar. Barkatullah Sahib has been in Rajasthan. And I want to tell the Chief Minister of Maharashtra that the Chief Minister of Assam has been a woman in a veil, Begum Tayyabuddin. History repeats itself. So it is possible that a woman in a veil becomes Chief Minister again and reaches any position.
After Operation Sindoor, India and Pakistan should have talked to each other. The BJP says what kind of statement is this from the IMC, meaning Islamabad National Congress. Mani Shankar... Look, it doesn't matter what the BJP says. What Mani Shankar ji has said, is the Foreign Minister of India not talking to the Speaker of Pakistan? Is he talking in an individual capacity? Is Jaishankar ji talking as Jaishankar or as the Foreign Minister of India? He went and met them himself. The Speaker of Pakistan did not come to him. India's Foreign Minister went to him and said, I am India's Foreign Minister. What was discussed? The Indian government should tell this. A discussion did happen. The BJP or the Indian government cannot deny this. So this was a discussion between India and Pakistan. If this was not a discussion, why did our Foreign Minister go to meet them? What was discussed should be told. Mani Shankar Aiyar is also saying the same thing. They made India a partially Muslim country. Look, these people give such cheap and false statements. In this country, Muslims are standing in the last row. In the entire country, there are 4% Muslims. If you look at engineers, doctors, graduates, there are only 4% of them. And if you consider the Muslim population of the country to be 25 crore, then only 4% of them are so educated and backward. So I ask them, where did they make them? How did this become a partially Muslim state? If this had become a partially Muslim state, I would tell them you wouldn't have the courage to make this statement. Thank you, sir.
Sir, will you take a break? How was the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Committee here today? I think it was a very, very good summit. We inaugurated the Vibrant Summit. The Prime Minister has been doing this for 20 years, and today everyone realized what a miracle Vibrant Gujarat does. It has done a miracle in Saurashtra. This will be a huge benefit for Kutch. It has opened the vision of the world. Sir, Saurashtra has been focused, Kutch has been focused. Many projects are coming in the coming days. He is a Gujarati, so he will focus on Gujarat, right? Where will the bridge come from in the world? But he will focus on Gujarat. He will focus on Kutch. This was Modi Sahib's dream 25 years ago, which has been realized today, and he is also happy. Thank you.
Madam, you are doing a lot of work in defense. There is a defense stall here. The Prime Minister himself came here today and talked about how to fight and how you see the coming days. So Rajkot is a hub for engineering goods, and our contribution is to take engineering goods towards defense. And that is why we have participated in defense production in Respin Enterprise. One minute. Namaste, sir. So it is a very good opportunity for Rajkot and Saurashtra that Vibrant Gujarat is happening here, and all companies are getting a platform plus encouragement from the Prime Minister. So this is a very happy occasion, and we are very motivated. And by this, the company is moving forward in defense. What kind of entire event is it? How far have your projects reached in defense? So it is in advanced stages. We have already done trial production. And there are many different types of products, and we are very happy with the ecosystem that is available in Rajkot.
Ma'am, your country was the partner country here, but there are a lot of trade relations between the two countries now. How are you looking forward to this Vibrant Gujarat? As I said, I was so pleased to represent my country here. Rwanda is one of the partner countries, and even last year, Rwanda was a partner country in the first reading conference. There is a lot in common between our two countries. India enjoys excellent bilateral relations with Rwanda. We have so many Indians doing their business in Rwanda. As I said, India is the second biggest foreign investor in my country, and India is the second largest trading partner with Rwanda. So there is a lot that our both countries can do together. We import ICT machinery and equipment from India. We import rice, sugar, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and so on and so forth. Why can't we import them from Gujarat state? And at the same time, relations between these two countries on the education front also. A lot of students studying here also. Yes, we have so many students who are here in India for their studies. Thank you.
Gujarat Regional Committee in Rajkot from which country? How was it? It was very, very, very nice. And there is a very good organization here, and everything was good. Looking forward to further investment in... Yes, for now, to bring tires in from Morbi. Morbi. Yes, Romania. And I was... She encouraged the businessmen to make investigations in India. Still looking forward to ceramic tiles in our country? Yes. What kind of demand is there in your country? Sorry. What kind of demands of ceramic industry? There are many demands of tires, ceramic tires, and we are looking for a new market. And we heard that India has good products, and we want to take them to Romania. Thank you very much.
To Vibrant Gujarat today, how was your experience? It was very impressive. We are happy to be here. We represent Ukraine, and we are grateful to Prime Minister Modi who organized and became the inspiration of this Vibrant Gujarat summit. And this gives the opportunity to such partner nations as Ukraine to build connections with Indian companies. When we win the war, we will need a lot of assistance from India to build up the country. And this is the opening of possibilities to invite Indian companies to do it in Ukraine. And we already have some companies like demining who are doing a great job. So it was a good event. There is always big support from Mr. Modi to your country whenever a situation arises. What are the areas we are looking forward to where the country can make investment and product-wise also export and import? Let me... I am the Ukrainian Ambassador, and thank you for my wife. [Laughter] She already made the speech, but Vibrant Gujarat is a good opportunity for us to discuss the very precise business projects and the cooperation which we have. We had a very great time in the past. As I said during the conference, it was like 4 billion USD before the war, and we are looking forward to having the President here. I hope this week as this year in India, and the intergovernmental commission as well, where we can discuss more precisely the projects which we can run together rather in India and Ukraine. So even in such a tense situation in your country, but the products of wheat and sugar and other crops are also increasing very well. Are you looking forward to export these products to other countries besides India? Yeah. We have a heavy presence in this region. Just recently, we delivered, despite the war, 3,000 metric tons of sunflower oil to Bangladesh. And especially in the frame of the World Food Program run by the UN. In the cooperation with our Swedish friends, and it's the delivery for the Rohingya refugees. And in India, we actually have a lot of opportunity to continue our cooperation in the military technical sphere. And as well in some new areas like IT, like engineering, port development. We have a lot of common, and we have a lot of plans which we can develop together. So being a country partner in this Vibrant Gujarat, what are the areas you focus as far as Gujarat is concerned? The new investment is coming to Gujarat from your country? We will see. It's still, you know, difficult to say right now because it's still an ongoing war in Ukraine because of the Russian aggression. But we have, as I said, the intergovernmental commission planned. And I hope that we will discuss more precisely where we can invest in India and how India can support us in reconstruction and rebuilding after the war. And thank you. Photo, photo.
Japan is... Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan. I am from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. How are you looking forward to today's Vibrant Gujarat meeting? Yes. Also present here, what are the areas looking forward to in time between these two countries? One second. My name is Bater from Kyrgyzstan. I am from the Kyrgyz Republic. I am too happy today, big conference with Narendra Modi, with high minister. I need every year this conference and to discuss an investor today. We will look to focus to invest from India to my country, from my country to between friendship between two countries. I hope India grows too much, Gujarat also. Gujarat is a big industry city. We have... I saw many, many companies have made many, many goods. We know India is growing every day. I hope Indians between our ground also many, many trade, many, many import-export working today only between our country only 10 million. In future to 5 billion dollars also make today. I am many, many big groups. I am happy. Thank you so much.
Sir, what will you say about the Viksit Bharat event that is going on? It is the second day of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue. Tomorrow, Ajit Doval ji has...
The event began with an inaugural address to the country's young leaders. Today, on the second day, all the young leaders presented on different topics in the presence of pathbreakers. Presentations were prepared in 10 different verticals, and guidance was received from the pathbreakers. Further inputs were given, and after finalizing it, the youth's ideas for a developed India will be presented before the Prime Minister tomorrow.
Today, in the Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue, our Sudhanshu Shukla ji was also present. He also engaged in a dialogue with the youth and discussed how they took inspiration from youth icons who have brought glory to the country. Inspired by them, the youth will fulfill their duty towards the country in the coming days and contribute to making the country a developed India as leaders.
Sir, the Prime Minister is doing something with the youth. The Prime Minister will be present tomorrow at 4:00 PM at Bharat Mandapam for the Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue. In front of him, a presentation will be made by consolidating the ideas given by the youth on 10 different tracks of a developed India.
Sir, since we are talking about youth power, our Indian Under-19 cricket team is currently in Zimbabwe. They are going to play the Under-19 World Cup. Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre are some of their star players. What message would you like to give to the team?
He said that India is a Hindu nation and whenever a Prime Minister is made, he will be a Hindu. How do you see this debate? Look, both sides are going to extremes. First of all, what Owaisi ji said, I feel that a Muslim woman should also become Prime Minister because the Constitution gives this right to every Indian, whether man or woman, of any religion, caste, or community, to contest elections and become Prime Minister. But seeing a Muslim woman in a hijab, I feel that one's capability is not known by their identity. Why only a hijab-wearing Muslim woman? I am also a Muslim woman. Everyone has the right. The Constitution has given it. And if I talk about religion, it is between God and us. So, to say that only a hijab-wearing Muslim woman should become Prime Minister, I would call this an extreme statement. On the other hand, what Hemant Vishwa Sharma ji said that it is a Hindu nation, I don't think the Constitution identifies India as a Hindu nation. All religions have been given equal rights. So, this is an extreme statement. It should not be politicized. I want women to move forward and progress based on their capability, identity, and respect. It should not be divided in the name of any religion or caste. Everyone should get opportunities based on their capability so they can progress.
Ma'am, since there are elections in Assam, some leaders of your party also say that because there are elections in Assam, Owaisi sahab is also behaving like a team and bringing up such issues. Do you agree with this, or do you have your own thoughts on it? No, you are talking about the hijab statement, so I will say again that whether you are a Muslim woman, a Hindu woman, a Dalit, or an Adivasi, I will say again that the Constitution has given everyone the right. And you talked about the hijab, today if a Hindu woman also comes and wants to put a chunni on her head or the pallu of a saree, it is everyone's personal choice. So, it is being politicized. Because there are elections at this time, we are seeing such statements. This is wrong. The Constitution has given everyone the right. Everyone should get opportunities.
On the other hand, the Prime Minister reached the Somnath temple today. After that, he spoke about how every possible effort was made to erase the heritage. He also reached Kutch. There, he spoke about how Gujarat is now moving forward. How do you see these statements of his? I would like to ask why the Prime Minister always talks about history? Today, the flag at the Somnath temple is fluttering with pride. This is why Prime Minister Modi went to the Somnath temple and gave the speech he did today. So many have come and gone over thousands of years. But the importance of the Somnath temple is the same today. I would like to ask again, why does a person go to a temple or a mosque? They fold their hands before God, before Allah, for their family, for their family's financial situation to be good, for good health. Today, we go to the Somnath temple, and I ask the Prime Minister why he is talking about history? Why isn't he talking about the future of India there? Why isn't he talking about India's progress? Why isn't he talking about a developed India? Why are we politicizing this, talking about who did what and who didn't? The point is that the Somnath temple is still there. Even today, crores of people go there and worship. You yourself are there today. So, to say that its existence is being erased, it hasn't been erased, right? That's all I want to say. The point is that the Somnath temple is still there. People still go there, and the Prime Minister got the opportunity, so he should not waste this opportunity. He should talk about the future of India. Talk about a developed India. Talk about how to improve people's financial situation. Talk about uniting, not dividing. The BJP always talks about dividing. Our Congress party always talks about uniting. That is why the foundation of the Somnath temple was laid again after independence under the leadership of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and it was inaugurated again. So, many have come and gone, but the temple's existence is still the same. Talk about uniting, not dividing.
Ma'am, tomorrow is her birthday. In the meantime, the Congress party will hold press conferences in different places across Uttar Pradesh. What will be the roadmap for the next 100 days? There will also be a discussion on this. How do you see it, and what are your thoughts on Priyanka Gandhi? I wish Priyanka ji a very happy birthday, and I hope that in the coming days, under her leadership, the Congress party will progress immensely. We saw in the last Parliament session how she took charge. How she brought the opposition, meaning the government's treasury benches, together and answered the Prime Minister. There is a simplicity in her language. People are liking it. Wherever we look, there is a discussion about her words. There is a discussion about her conduct in Parliament. We are all hopeful, all of us in Congress, that we will strengthen the Congress party together with her, and in the coming days, since she has been given charge of Assam, the Congress party will fight strongly there and win the elections.
Ma'am, within the party, Priyanka Gandhi is often presented as the face for Prime Minister. Some leaders have said this. You are also saying how she answered in Parliament. So, do you also see a great leadership in her, that she can become Prime Minister, or is this a futile debate? No, it's not a debate. She absolutely has the capability to become Prime Minister. But who the public elects is a different matter. But then it's the party's internal decision who becomes Prime Minister. Whether it's Priyanka ji, Rahul ji, or anyone else, you have seen in the party that earlier Narasimha Rao ji became Prime Minister, Manmohansingh ji became Prime Minister. So, this is the party's internal matter. But you asked about capability. She absolutely has the capability to become Prime Minister, and I want to wish her again on the occasion of her birthday.
He went and made every possible effort. How do you see these statements of his? Because now he is continuously attacking Congress and raising the past to attack you. Which past are they talking about? Look, we don't want to speak on matters of faith. Everyone has their own faith. You do your own worship. You have your own spirituality and faith. You do it. We don't want to question that. As far as I am concerned, this 1000-year history was completed, which they went to celebrate.
