Most respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi ji, Honorable Chief Minister Bhupendra Bhai Patel ji, Honorable Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi ji, distinguished dignitaries, industry leaders, and dear friends. Namaskar. Let me start with Jai Somnath. The positive vibrations from our dear Prime Minister's prayers at Somnath are resonating across Gujarat and India.
I congratulate our most respected Prime Minister ji for the great honor bestowed upon Saurashtra and Kutch by being personally present at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Summit after 20 years of Vibrant Gujarat in Gandhinagar. It's a privilege to participate in the first regional Vibrant Gujarat Summit in this historic city of Rajkot. This summit will be a true force multiplier for the manifold development of Saurashtra. I salute Rajkot, truly a Raja, a king among cities of Gujarat.
I salute the sacred soil of Saurashtra because my father, my revered father Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, was a son of the soil of Saurashtra. He was born in Chorwad. Most respected Prime Minister, you have restored to India its civilizational self-belief. Never in the history of independent India have we seen so much hope, so much self-confidence, and so much vibrancy in India as we do now.
Your vision has reshaped India's trajectory for the next 50 years and more. History will record that the Modi era is when India moved from potential to performance, from aspiration to action, from being a follower to becoming a global force.
Dear friends, for Reliance, Gujarat is far more than a location. Gujarat is our body, heart, and soul. We are a Gujarati company. Today, I stand before you with five firm commitments.
First, investment at unprecedented scale. Reliance is already Gujarat's largest investor. In the last five years, we have invested over three and a half lakh crore. Today, I am pleased to announce that we will double this to seven lakh crore over the next five years, creating exponential employment, livelihoods, and greater prosperity for every Gujarati and every Indian.
Second, global leadership in clean energy and green materials. At Jamnagar, we are building the world's largest integrated clean energy ecosystem, spanning solar, battery energy storage, green hydrogen, green fertilizer, sustainable aviation fuel, and maritime fuels, and advanced materials. These are not only industries of the future; they are foundations of India's prosperous tomorrow. Jamnagar, once the largest hydrocarbon energy exporter, will in the coming years become India's largest exporter of green energy and materials from Gujarat.
Third, transforming Kutch into a global clean energy hub. Our multi-gigawatt utility-scale solar project, among the world's largest, will deliver round-the-clock clean power through advanced storage and modern grid integration, powering India's green future and reinforcing Gujarat's leadership in renewables.
Fourth, making Gujarat India's artificial intelligence pioneer. In Jamnagar, we are building India's largest artificial intelligence-ready data center with a single goal: affordable AI for every Indian. Jio will launch a people-first intelligence platform, built in India for India and the world, enabling every citizen, starting from Gujarat, to access AI services in their own language on their own device every day to make them more efficient and productive.
Fifth, partnering for India's Olympic ambitions and social progress. The Reliance Foundation stands ready to serve the Prime Minister's vision of bringing 2036 Olympics to Ahmedabad as a concrete step. Reliance will partner with the Gujarat government to manage the Veer Savarkar Multi-Sports Complex in Naranpura, a hub for hosting national and international events and training India's future champions. We are also establishing a world-class hospital in Jamnagar in Saurashtra and expanding our education facilities manifold.
Development of Gujarat is our resolve. Big in vision, bold in execution, rooted in Gujarat, and dedicated to the service of Bharat Mata. Friends, today I want to make one important point. All of us know that the world is changing very fast. The geopolitical situation is creating new challenges, including some unexpected turbulence.
What is reassuring for India is that these challenges cannot touch or trouble our people. This is because India has the invincible protective wall called Narendra Bhai Modi. Let the world know that this is India's defining decade. Under the Prime Minister's leadership, India is not just preparing for the future; India is shaping it. And from Saurashtra and Kutch, we in industry are very happy to participate in this growth and the direction that the Prime Minister has shown all of us. Thank you, respected Prime Minister, for your leadership. Jai Jai Saurashtra and Kutch, Jai Jai Garvi Gujarat, Jai Hind.
Thank you, Mr. Mukesh Ambani. Ladies and gentlemen, India's growth resonates across borders, building bridges of cooperation and shared prosperity around the globe. Now I invite our esteemed international dignitaries. First, I invite Her Excellency Ms. Jacqueline Muhongayire, High Commissioner of Rwanda to India. Welcome, Madam.
Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji, Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, Honorable Ministers, Honorable senior government officials of Gujarat, Excellencies, distinguished industry leaders, ladies and gentlemen. Good afternoon. Namaste. Kem cho Gujarat.
I am delighted to be here today, and I would like to take this moment to express my heartfelt gratitude today to the Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat for having invited Rwanda as a country partner and for giving me the opportunity to speak at this great audience in the presence of the Honorable Prime Minister of India. May I also congratulate the Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat for organizing successfully such an amazing regional conference like the first one, which I also attended.
Honorable Prime Minister, Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat, distinguished guests, Rwanda and India enjoy excellent bilateral relations. Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji, visited Rwanda in July 2018. It was a special visit. Six MOUs were signed during his visit to my country, and he donated 200 cows to needy families. Thank you so much, Honorable Prime Minister of India, for your generosity and great leadership.
His Excellency Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda, visited India five times, and I am glad to inform you that my President attended the Vibrant Gujarat Summit in 2017. Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and President Paul Kagame have been very instrumental in driving relations between our two countries. The relations between Rwanda and India have been elevated to strategic level thanks to our two eminent leaders.
Rwanda and India have been working together by supporting each other on various bilateral, regional, and multilateral issues of common interest. Rwanda looks forward to continued and strong relations with India. Honorable Prime Minister, Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat, distinguished guests, today Rwanda is a first developing, transformed, stable, and strong nation with zero tolerance to corruption. Our economy grew by 11.8% in the third quarter of 2025.
Rwanda ranks first in Africa for governance transparency. This solid governance underpins Rwanda's position as one of Africa's fastest-growing economies and one of the safest countries globally. The World Bank Business Ready report further ranks Rwanda first in Africa for ease of doing business. Rwanda is also the second most ranking in Africa. It requires less than six hours to register a business in my country.
Today, India is the second biggest foreign investor in Rwanda, and India is the second largest trading partner with my country. India and Rwanda relations are projected to grow higher. Rwanda has access to Africa and global markets through robust trade agreements. With the opportunities mentioned, my country is ready to welcome more Indian investors in various sectors, including manufacturing, infrastructure, real estate, ICT, agriculture and agro-processing, mining, cybersecurity, tourism, health, education, and so on and so forth.
These opportunities are backed by strong fiscal and non-fiscal incentives. Out, I would like to close by inviting you all to visit Rwanda, home to the famous mountain gorillas and the Big Five animals. Please be advised that Indians with valid passports get one month free visa upon arrival. Thank you very much for your kind attention.
Thank you, Your Excellency, for your address. I now invite His Excellency Dr. Oleksandr Polishchuk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to India. We welcome you, sir.
Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji, Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel, Honorable Deputy Chief Minister, Honorable Shri Harsh Sanghvi ji, distinguished guests, distinguished captains of the industry. It's a great honor and pleasure for me to be back in Gujarat. It's for the short time. I am taking part in this global forum, and I would like to applaud the Honorable Prime Minister's leadership, which is the great example of how from a regional leader you become a national leader, and now you are actually playing a very global role, including my country, to establish peace.
Now Gujarat is very well known around the world, and I would like to acknowledge that the personal role of Shri Narendra Modi ji in shaping this development model and expanding it to the entire country was the philosophy to create the country who will be the global leader and to take the next couple of years on the path of Viksit Bharat 2047.
I would also like to applaud the Gujarat government and thanks to the Honorable Chief Minister and his team for the cooperation. We had a discussion on our cooperation in different areas. First of all, education, institution partnership, and skills development area that can serve as a long-term foundation for the people-to-people and knowledge-based cooperation. Since 2023, Ukraine has proudly served as a partner country of this summit, and we see this as a strategic opportunity to deepen economic cooperation between our countries and the Ukrainian companies and industries.
Actively engaged in a dialogue across such sectors: industry, education, agriculture, engineering, IT, energy, and logistics. Ukraine and India have successful cooperation in traditional areas like sunflower oil, grain, pharmaceutical products. This established trade flow demonstrates the complementarity of our economies. At the same time, there exists considerable potential in precisely the sectors where Gujarat is particularly strong. The positive experience of our past cooperation as well as a bilateral volume and reach in the past four billion USD provide solid ground for considering more ambitious and institutional framework for the economic engagement.
First of all, I am talking about the bilateral investment agreement and free trade agreement as a logical continuation of our long-term cooperation. Ukraine is currently awaiting the respective government ministry to this initiative. Today, we have the significant and practical potential for the involvement of the Indian company in the reconstruction and recovery of Ukraine. This includes infrastructure, energy, housing and industrial facilities, logistics, and advanced technology solutions.
In this regard, we invite our Indian friends and the Indian company to participate in the next Ukraine Recovery Conference, which will be held in Poland later this year. We also see prospects for the expanded industrial and technological cooperation in the defense sector within the framework of Make in India. Ukraine and India are working toward achieving the strategic partnership. The intention to elevate bilateral relations to a new level was reaffirmed by Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and President of Ukraine, His Excellency Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during the historical visit of Honorable Prime Minister of India to Ukraine in August 2024, a visit undertaken in the midst of the war, making him one of the very few leaders in the Global South to travel to Ukraine under such circumstances.
Further substantive progress along this path will be supported by the 8th session of the Ukraine-India Intergovernmental Commission. We are confident that the achievement of a sustainable and just peace in Ukraine will further contribute to the deepening of relationships between India and Ukraine, including the state of Gujarat. In this regard, we hope for India's continuous support to international efforts aimed at restoring the peace, which will create a stable foundation for the long-term economic cooperation and development. I wish the Vibrant Gujarat Conference success, productive discussions, innovative ideas, and strong new partnerships. Dhanyavaad. Jai Hind. Jai Jai Garvi Gujarat.
Thank you very much, Your Excellency. Gujarat's development journey is a perfect blend of long-term vision and effective implementation. Now, I humbly request the Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Bhai Patel, to come to the stage and address the gathering.
At the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for Saurashtra and Kutch, the visionary leader of the Vibrant Gujarat Committee, the most respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi, my colleague Deputy Chief Minister Shri Harsh Bhai Sanghvi, Minister Shri Rishikesh Bhai Patel, Union Minister Shri Nimuben Bhamaniya, former Governor of Karnataka Shri Vajubhai Vala, Partner Country Rwanda's High Commissioner Her Excellency Ms. Jacqueline Muhongayire, Partner Country UK's Ambassador His Excellency Dr. Alexander Polishchuk, Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited Shri Mukesh Bhai Ambani, Chairman of Wells Group Shri B K Goenka ji, MD of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited Shri Karan Adani, Chairman and MD of Jyoti CNC Automation Shri Parakramsinh Jadeja, all present dignitaries, friends from the press and media, Namaskar to all.
World leader and people's beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi today, in the morning, at Somnath, illuminated the flame of faith and spirituality through the Somnath Swabhiman Parva. And now, to give momentum to entrepreneurship and self-reliance, he has come with all of you to inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference. You are all fortunate to have a visionary leader like Shri Narendra Bhai Modi ji, who always thinks ahead of time. Under Shri Modi sahib's vision, the first Vibrant Summit was held in 2003, presenting Gujarat's industrial potential to the world.
With the cooperation of the public and administration, the Vibrant Committee achieved success in 2003, after which it was said that 'Gujarat can and Gujarati will.' Under the leadership of the respected Shri Modi sahib, people around the world started believing in Gujarat. Due to the possibilities of investment in the state and best infrastructure development, the Vibrant Summit received increasing success. The results of Gujarat have made it a growth engine for the country's development and the most preferred destination for investment.
Under Shri Modi sahib's guidance, the two editions of Vibrant Gujarat have been a resounding success. In the last 24 years, FDI of 3.57 lakh crore has come. Gujarat contributes about 8% to the country's industrial output and about 30% to exports. In the state, there were 1.85 lakh MSMEs, which have now grown to 41.9 lakh MSMEs. Cargo handling at ports has increased fivefold to 586 lakh metric tons. Gujarat has become a global gateway to the future.
You have set new benchmarks of progress. In sectors where Gujarat had no presence, the state is now becoming a hub everywhere. Gujarat is moving forward to become a hub in emerging sectors like auto, semiconductor, financial services, artificial intelligence, green energy, and many others. Inspired by Shri Modi sahib, in the Vibrant Summit held in 2024, MOUs worth 98,000 were signed in various sectors. I am happy to say that out of these, 25,500 were for Saurashtra and Kutch alone, and 78% of the projects have already been commissioned.
The identity and self-respect of the district and region is a special thing. The idea of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference to connect tier 2, tier 3 cities and rural areas with the growth journey for sustainable development is a welcome thought. Today, the VRC for Saurashtra has started in the presence of the Prime Minister. In 12 districts of this region, a robust ecosystem is being created for investment in renewable energy, world-class sports, shipbuilding, agro-processing, ceramics, chemicals, fisheries, and the blue economy.
The state government is providing seamless connectivity through the Coastal Highway Economic Corridor, upgradation of four-lane and six-lane roads, and modern airports in Kutch and Saurashtra. To encourage balanced regional development in the country, Shri Modi sahib has adopted the 'One District One Product' approach. The state government has developed a concept to increase the GDP of each district to 10% of the state GDP. The pace of development of the districts is getting a new direction under the guidance of the Prime Minister.
Regional growth hubs are being developed. These regional growth hubs will help fulfill the Prime Minister's vision of a self-reliant and developed India through the Vibrant Summit. The Vibrant Summit has become a brand of trust, reliability, and development. I invite all of you from the country and abroad present here to become partners in this brand. Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Vande Mataram, Jai Jai Garvi Gujarat.
We are deeply grateful to the Honorable Chief Minister for his gracious address. Ladies and gentlemen, we are now about to witness a momentous occasion that will provide a new and strong direction to the industrial future of Kutch, Saurashtra, and the entire Gujarat. The development of 13 new smart industrial estates spread over 3,540 acres in seven districts of this region has been envisioned. Along with this, a sector-specific Medical Devices Industrial Park has been developed by the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation in Nangal over 336 acres. This initiative strengthens the resolve of a self-reliant India. Now, I humbly request the Honorable Prime Minister to kindly press the remote button to inaugurate the new smart GIDC estates and the Medical Devices Park at Nangal.
In all these districts—Amreli, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Kutch, Morbi, Rajkot, and Surendranagar—excellent industrial estates have been envisioned and announced today. Many congratulations.
Through this film, we see a vision where by the 100th year of independence, this country becomes a developed nation. This is not just a film, but a testament to a modern Bhagirath effort. There was a time when the sands of Kutch and the waves of Saurashtra only told stories of challenges. But then a resolve emerged. A leadership came forward that created the echo of development even in the silence of the desert. This journey is from scarcity to abundance. This saga is of turning difficulties into revolution, and the architect of this transformation is the same person who taught the entire nation to dream of self-reliance through the Gujarat model.
Today, when the industries of Kutch and Saurashtra are becoming the hub of global trade, it is the victory of that vision which always kept 'Nation First' as supreme. With utmost dignity, immense respect, and the trust of 140 crore dreams of the country, I invite to the stage the architect of modern India, our successful Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji. Let us welcome the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji with an energetic round of applause for his address.
Kem cho! Gujarat's Chief Minister, Shriman Bhupendra Bhai Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi, other ministers of the Gujarat government, Members of Parliament and Members of the Legislative Assembly, Excellencies, representatives of the industry, other dignitaries, ladies and gentlemen. After the beginning of 2026, this is my first visit to Gujarat. And it is pleasant because my 2026 journey began with my head bowed at the feet of Somnath Dada. And now I am participating in this magnificent program in Rajkot. That is, development as well as heritage. This mantra is resonating everywhere.
I welcome and congratulate all of you friends who have come from across the country and the world to the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Summit. Friends, whenever the stage of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit is set, I don't just see a summit. I see the journey of 21st-century modern India, which started with a dream and has today reached an unshakable trust. Over decades, the journey of Vibrant Gujarat has become a global benchmark. So far, 10 editions have been held, and with every edition, the identity and role of this summit have both strengthened.
Friends, I have been connected with the vision of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit from the very first day. In the initial phase, our goal was that the world should become familiar with Gujarat's potential. People should come here, invest here, and benefit India. Global investors should also benefit. But today, this summit has gone beyond investment to become a strong platform for global growth, international cooperation, and partnership.
In the past years, the number of global partners has continuously increased, and with time, this summit has also become a great example of inclusion. Here, along with corporate groups, cooperatives, MSMEs, startups, multilateral and bilateral organizations, international financial institutions, all engage in dialogue and discussion together. They walk shoulder to shoulder with Gujarat's development.
Friends, in the past two decades, the Vibrant Gujarat Summit has continuously done something new, something special. This regional summit of Vibrant Gujarat has also become an example of that. Its focus is on converting the untapped potential of different parts of Gujarat into performance. Like, where there is the potential of a coastline, somewhere there is a long tribal belt. Somewhere there is a large ecosystem of industrial clusters, and somewhere there is a rich tradition of agriculture and animal husbandry. That is, different regions of Gujarat have their own strengths. The Vibrant Gujarat Regional Summit is moving forward focusing on these regional possibilities of Gujarat.
Friends, a quarter of the 21st century has passed. In the past years, India has made very rapid progress, and in this, Gujarat and all of you have played a very big role. India is moving rapidly towards becoming the world's third-largest economy. And the figures coming in make it clear that the world's expectations from India are continuously increasing. India is the world's fastest-growing large economy. Inflation is under control. In agricultural production, India is setting new records. India is number one in milk production. In generic medicine production, India is number one. The country that makes the most vaccines in the world is India.
Friends, India's growth fact sheet is a success story of the mantra of Reform, Perform, and Transform. In the past 11 years, India has become the world's largest mobile data consumer. Our UPI has become the world's number one real-time digital transaction platform. Once we used to import nine out of ten mobile phones. Today, India is the world's second-largest mobile manufacturer. Today, India has the world's third-largest startup ecosystem. In solar power generation, India is also among the top three countries. We are the third-largest aviation market, and in the case of metro, we have also joined the top three networks in the world.
Friends, today every global expert and global institution is bullish on India. IMF calls India the engine of global growth. S&P upgrades India's rating after 18 years. Fitch ratings praise India's macro stability and fiscal credibility. The world's trust in India is because amidst great global uncertainty, we are seeing an era of unprecedented certainty in India. Today, there is political stability in India. There is continuity in policy. The new middle class in India is expanding. Their purchasing power is increasing, and these factors have made India a country of immense possibilities.
I had said from the Red Fort, this is the time. The right time. For every investor in the country and the world, this is the time to take advantage of these possibilities. The right time. And the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Summit is also giving this message to all you investors. This is the time to invest in Saurashtra and Kutch. The right time.
Friends, you all know that Saurashtra and Kutch are those regions of Gujarat that teach us that no matter how big the challenge is, if you stay put with honesty and hard work, success is sure to come. This is the same Kutch that suffered a devastating earthquake at the beginning of this century. This is the same Saurashtra where droughts used to occur for years. Mothers and sisters had to walk many kilometers for drinking water. There was no certainty of electricity. Everywhere, there were only difficulties.
Friends, the youth of 2025 today have only heard stories of that era. The truth was that people were not ready to live in Kutch and Saurashtra for a long time. In that period, it seemed that the situation would never change. But history is a witness. Time changes, and it definitely changes. The people of Saurashtra and Kutch have changed their destiny with their hard work.
Friends, today Saurashtra and Kutch are not just a region of opportunities, but these regions have become an anchor region for India's growth. This region is becoming a very big center to give momentum to the self-reliant India campaign. Saurashtra and Kutch have a very big role in making India a global manufacturing hub, and this role is market-driven, and this is what gives the biggest confidence to investors.
Right here in Rajkot, there are more than 2.5 lakh MSMEs. Here, in different industrial clusters, from screwdrivers to auto parts, machine tools, luxury car liners, aeroplanes, fighter planes, and rocket parts are made in our Rajkot. That is, this region supports the entire value chain from low-cost manufacturing to high-precision, high-technology manufacturing. And the jewelry industry here is world-famous in itself. This sector is an example of scale, skill, and global linkage.
Friends, Alang is the world's largest ship-breaking yard. One-third of the world's ships are recycled here. This is also proof of India's leadership in the circular economy. India is one of the big producers of tiles. In this too, the contribution of Morbi district is very big. Here, the manufacturing cost is competitive and it is a global benchmark. And I remember, the people of the Saurashtra press must be present here, and they used to pull my hair. Once I said in a speech here in Saurashtra, I said that a time will come when Morbi, Jamnagar, and Rajkot, this triangle, will become a mini Japan.
I was made fun of a lot. Today, I am seeing the reality with my own eyes. We are also very proud of the Dholera Special Investment Region. Today, this city is becoming a very big center of modern manufacturing. In Dholera, India's first semiconductor fabrication facility is being prepared. This region is giving an early mover advantage for future technology. That is, the ground is completely ready to increase your investment. Infrastructure is ready. Policy is predictable, and the vision is long-term.
Friends, Saurashtra and Kutch are also becoming a big hub for India's green growth, green mobility, and energy security. In Kutch, a 30-gigawatt capacity renewable energy park is being built. This will be the world's largest hybrid energy park. You can imagine, this park is five times bigger than the city of Paris. That is, in this region, clean energy is not just a commitment but a commercial-scale reality. You are all familiar with the potential of green hydrogen. In India, work is going on in this direction with unprecedented speed and scale. Here, Kutch and Jamnagar are becoming major centers for green hydrogen production. In Kutch, a huge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is also being established. That is, along with renewable energy...
Grid stability and reliability are also being ensured. Friends, Kutch and Saurashtra have another great potential. This region is equipped with world-class ports. A large part of India's exports passes through here. Ports like Pipavav and Mundra have become major hubs for India's automobile exports. Last year, nearly 1.75 lakh vehicles were exported from Gujarat's ports. Not just logistics, there are immense possibilities for investment in every aspect of port-led development. Along with this, the Gujarat government is also giving special priority to the fisheries sector. Large-scale work has been done on fisheries infrastructure. A strong ecosystem is ready for investors connected to seafood processing. Friends, along with infrastructure, an industry-ready workforce is the biggest need today. And Gujarat provides full certainty to investors on this front. An international ecosystem of education and skill development exists here. Gujarat government's Kaushal Skill University is preparing youth in future-ready skills. It is working in collaboration with universities of Australia and Singapore. National Defence University is India's first national-level defence university. Gati Shakti University is preparing skilled manpower for road, railway, airway, waterways, and logistics sectors. This means along with investment, the talent pipeline is also assured here. Today, many foreign universities are seeing new opportunities in India, and Gujarat is becoming their preferred destination. Two major universities of Australia have started their campuses in Gujarat. This number is going to increase further in the coming time. Friends, Gujarat has nature, adventure, culture, and heritage. This means the tourism experience you want will be found here. Lothal is a symbol of India's 4000-year-old maritime heritage. The world's oldest man-made dockyard has been found here. A National Maritime Heritage Complex is being prepared here. The Rann Utsav is also being organized in Kutch these days. Staying in the Tent City here is a different experience. Friends, for those who are fond of wildlife in the jungles, what better experience can there be than the Gir Forest and the Asiatic Lion? More than 9 lakh tourists come here every year. For those who like the sea, there is Shivrajpur Beach which is Blue Flag certified. Besides this, there are many possibilities for beach tourism in Mandvi, Somnath, and Dwarka. There is a DB in Pasi. DB is becoming a great destination for water sports and beach games. This means this entire region is full of potential for investors. You must take full advantage of it. And I have been saying for a long time, if you delay, don't blame me. Every investment of yours in Saurashtra-Kutch will accelerate the development of Gujarat. It will accelerate the development of the country. And the strength of Saurashtra right now... The High Commissioner of Rwanda was telling that when I went to Rwanda, I gifted 200 cows there. These 200 cows were our Gir cows. But there is a specialty, when we gave 200 cows for their rural economy, there is a rule that we will give you the cow, but you have to return its first calf. And we give that to another family. This means from those 200 cows, thousands of families have received cows. It is giving great strength to Rwanda's rural economy and Gir cows are visible in every house. This is my Saurashtra. Friends, today's India is working rapidly towards the goal of becoming a developed country, and the Reform Express has a very big role in achieving this goal. Reform Express means next-generation reform in every sector. Like some time ago, the country implemented next-generation GST reforms. Its good effect was seen on every sector. Especially our MSMEs are benefiting a lot. Riding on the Reform Express, India has done a very big reform in the insurance sector. India has approved 100% FDI in the insurance sector. This will give momentum to the campaign of providing 100% insurance coverage to the citizens. Similarly, after about six decades, the income tax law has been modernized. This will benefit crores of taxpayers. India has also implemented historic labour reforms. This has given a unified framework to wages, social security, and industry. This means whether it is workers or industry, everyone benefits from this. Friends, today India is becoming a global hub for data-based innovation, AI research, and semiconductor manufacturing. This means India's power demand is continuously increasing. India needs assured energy very much. And a very big medium for this is nuclear power. Seeing this, we have also done next-generation reform in the nuclear power sector. In the last session of Parliament, India has opened civil nuclear energy for private partnership through the Atomic Energy Act. This is a very big opportunity for investors. Friends, I assure all the investors present here that our Reform Express is not going to stop now. India's reform journey has moved towards institutional transformation. Friends, you have not come here just with MOUs. You have come here to connect with the development and heritage of Saurashtra-Kutch. I assure you that every penny of your investment will give a magnificent return here. Once again, my best wishes to all of you. I appreciate the Gujarat government and Gujarat's team for their efforts. Many, many congratulations. Perhaps their Vibrant Summit will be in 2027. Before that, this regional summit is a good experiment, and I am happy that the work which I got the opportunity to start, today when it is being expanded by my colleagues, it is getting new energy, then the joy multiplies many times. I congratulate you all. Many, many best wishes. Thank you.
Honorable Prime Minister, heartfelt gratitude for your inspiring and energetic address. Your words have given a new vision and unwavering faith to Kutch, Saurashtra, and the entire nation. We are fully committed to fulfilling your resolve of a developed India. Thank you, Honorable Prime Minister Sir, for your unwavering leadership and for inspiring a billion dreams. As our Honorable Prime Minister Sir departs, let the applause resound. Gujarat!
Most respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi ji, Honorable Chief Minister Bhupendra Bhai Patel ji, Honorable Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi ji, Distinguished Dignitaries, Industry Leaders, and Dear Friends, Namaskar. Let me start with Jai Somnath. The positive vibrations from our dear Prime Minister's prayers at Somnath are resonating across Gujarat and India. I congratulate our most respected Prime Minister ji for the great honor bestowed upon Saurashtra and Kutch by being personally present at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Summit. After 20 years of Vibrant Gujarat in Gandhinagar, it's a privilege to participate in the first regional Vibrant Gujarat Summit in this historic city of Rajkot. This summit will be a true force multiplier for the manifold development of Saurashtra. I salute Rajkot, truly a king among cities of Gujarat. I salute the sacred soil of Saurashtra because my father, my respected father Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, was a son of the land of Saurashtra. First, investment at an unprecedented scale. Reliance is already Gujarat's largest investor. In the last five years, we have invested over 3.5 lakh crore. Today, I am pleased to announce that we will double this to 7 lakh crore over the next five years. Creating exponential employment, livelihoods, and greater prosperity for every Gujarati and every Indian. Jamnagar, once the largest hydrocarbon energy exporter, will in the coming years become India's largest exporter of green energy and material from Gujarat. The Reliance Foundation stands ready to serve the Prime Minister's vision of bringing the 2036 Olympics to Ahmedabad. As a concrete step, Reliance will partner with the Gujarat government to manage the Veer Savarkar Multi-Sports Complex in Naranpura, a hub for hosting national and international events and training India's future champions. We are also establishing a world-class hospital in Jamnagar in Saurashtra and expanding our education facilities manifold. Development of Gujarat is our resolve, big in vision, bold in execution, rooted in Gujarat, and dedicated to the service of Bharat Mata. Friends, today I want to make one important point. All of us know that the world is changing very fast. The geopolitical situation is creating new challenges, including some unexpected turbulence. What is reassuring for India is that the challenges cannot touch a hair of our people. Jai Jai Saurashtra and Kutch. Jai Jai Garvi Gujarat. Jai Hind.
Thank you, Mr. Mukesh Ambani. Ladies and gentlemen, India's growth resonates across borders, building bridges of cooperation and shared prosperity around the globe. Now, I invite our esteemed international dignitaries. First, I invite Her Excellency Ms. Jacqueline Muhongayire, High Commissioner of Rwanda to India. Welcome, Madam.
