Raunchy is like such a British word. It is, isn't it? Like it makes me feel like so naughty, right? Our producer Problemat cannot control himself. It is of course the one, the only Hilary Duff.
Hi guys. Well, I mean, this is what dreams are made of, isn't it? This is what dreams are made of.
Thank you so much. It's great to be here.
And you were here recently. You were only here about a month ago where you did your first concert in like 18 years.
Guys, I was unwell that day. I didn't, I like missed a whole day of food. I was like, I don't know what to do with my body. How am I going to do this? My brain was just like, and then I was so calm and I was just like, I know what to do. I'm ready.
It was extremely well received. I mean honestly like we were reading about it at the time. Everybody was going wild for it. Producer Problemat was, you would have heard the loudest screams from the crowd. That would have been him.
That would have been him. Honestly, it was so fun to go back and like watch video. Like my husband was at front of house and you couldn't even hear the PA. Like you couldn't hear me singing. Everyone was so loud. Like all my London people showed up and that was so nice.
That's great. We've gone back on Problemat stories from a month ago. We've actually got a clip of him enjoying the show.
I would love to see it. Have a listen.
Let's go Hilary! Sing it Hilary right now! Guess what?
You sound like you're on a roller coaster. Yes. Oh, yes. And now he's standing in the back of the studio crying. I can't believe you played that back to her. And Producer Problemat, have a seat. Take a seat. Come on, join the chat.
Is this actually happening? Is this actually getting me in on this?
Yeah, it makes sense. Hilary Duff is sat right next to me. I actually, I cannot deal with it. I love it. So, seeing as you're sitting there, is there anything you want to ask?
You guys, my cheeks hurt. Yeah, I really, you put me under pressure because God... Oh. Have you been back to the Coliseum ever since the Lizzie McGuire film?
No, I haven't been back to the Coliseum, but I will say this doesn't have anything to do with the Coliseum except for that that show in London was the first time I ever performed 'What Dreams Are Made Of' live.
Since filming the movie. I never, when I was on tour... I know. I never did it live. So that was the first time.
Wow. Oh, what a treat. Incredible. What made you do your first show back in the UK? Was it because you knew Problemat was here?
Yeah. I actually, my manager was like, 'There's this guy and he really needs you to start the tours in London.' And I said, 'You know what? Okay, great. That's amazing. I'll do it for him.'
Thank you, Hilary. Oh my god.
There's an arena tour coming. So, bigger stages, bigger venues, bigger screams from Problemat.
Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to have to get like a different kind of ear fixture for this guy so I can actually hear myself. But no, I'm kidding. No, I'm so so excited and you know, it was great to start the tour small and intimate and like my true like hardcore diehard fans like showed up for me and it was the warmest welcome and like a cozy place to start, but I'm super excited for the bigger shows.
Was that almost more nerve-wracking though? Like sometimes there's something about smaller...
Yeah. You can see everyone's face whereas when you're just at the O2 or whatever, it's just like it's like a sea of people. Yeah. And it's like a blur and you're kind of like you become like on an island, you know? But those small shows are so fun and it really, you feel the connection, you know. I think there's nothing like being in an arena. That energy all coming at you is like such a wild once in a lifetime feeling. But the connection and seeing people's faces and you know you can see the back of the room at Empire. So it was great.
So cool. So we're talking now arenas across the UK in September. I wanted to ask you mom to mom because I have a daughter who's nearly two and I mean it's hard to juggle everything. I have one kid. So how are you going to be juggling all of this touring and being a mom?
Okay. I have to just like aside from touring tell you that I tell all my friends that have one kid, one kid is harder than two.
