About Donald Trump

President Trump attended the G7 summit in France in June 2026, where he held press conferences and bilateral meetings with world leaders including French President Emmanuel Macron and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Trump stated that on June 14 the U.S. reached a memorandum of understanding with Iran that he said would end the current conflict, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. He described the agreement as a "wall against a nuclear weapon" and contrasted it with the previous JCPOA, which he called a "road to a nuclear weapon." Trump said the Strait of Hormuz was partially open and would be fully open by June 19, and he claimed oil prices were dropping and the stock market was rising as a result of the deal. He also said he had spoken with leaders of Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Turkey about the agreement. During the summit, Trump also addressed other topics. He said he had conversations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the war in Ukraine, describing it as more difficult than expected. Trump discussed U.S. investment figures, stating that over $19 trillion was being invested in the United States. He commented on domestic issues including voter ID requirements, crime reduction in several U.S. cities, and the "Save America Act." Trump also referenced a UFC event held at the White House and joked with reporters about taking credit for the Iran deal or blaming Vice President JD Vance if it did not work out.

Good morning. Welcome to RSBN Live. I'm Matthew Alvarez. At 10 this morning, the president will sign the Secure America Act into law in the Oval Office. This after the legislation passed in the House and previously the Senate, where the bill was originally introduced. Specifically, this is a $70 billion Republican bill to fund ICE, Border Patrol, and other immigration enforcement agencies through the remainder of President Trump's term. In case you missed it, I spoke with Abigail Jackson from the White House just yesterday about the Secure America Act. Let's take a look at clip five. For more on the legislation, let's return to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Joining us now is White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson. Thanks so much for joining us again, Abigail.
A
Abigail Jackson3:14
Yeah, great to be with you.
M
Matthew Alvarez3:16
Definitely great to have you here. Can you tell us what the Secure America Act consists of?
A
Abigail Jackson3:23
You know, the president as always is putting forth legislation that is in the best interest of the American people and keeping the American people safe. And like anything, that's what he's doing here.
M
Matthew Alvarez3:37
That's awesome. So, we're looking at some money for ICE and DHS and that kind of thing. So, always good to see that. I mean, we know that when President Trump became the 47th president, first thing he did was along the border there, obviously brought the National Guard or at least the military there. So, could you talk to us just about the importance of passing this Secure America Act?
A
Abigail Jackson3:58
Yeah, absolutely. This has been a day one priority for President Trump to secure the border, to fund his immigration enforcement agenda. And unsurprisingly, the Democrats have tried to get in the way every single opportunity they have. But this president remains fully committed, like you and I have talked about many, many times, to fully funding his immigration enforcement agenda. And the Democrats keep coming up short. I think it goes to show the American people that no matter what type of wrenches they try to throw at us, we are not backing down and we remain fully committed to enacting this agenda because the president knows how important it is to the American people. Really, that's what it's all about here.
M
Matthew Alvarez4:39
It's so wild. We really see the Democrats playing their hand here. If you want to talk about a card game, they're against the Save America Act. They're against the Secure America Act. What are they for, Abigail?
A
Abigail Jackson4:50
They are for anything that obstructs this president and his agenda. Really, that's all it comes down to. And you can see that in literally everything they do. They have no agenda that they're putting forth themselves. Their entire agenda is obstruct, obstruct, obstruct. And I think it's important to take a step back and look at what it is that they're really obstructing. Like you said, the Save America Act, for example, free secure elections. That's what they're against. They are obstructing and trying to defund law enforcement. That's what it comes down to when they don't want to fund ICE and CBP. They don't want to fund law enforcement. Meanwhile, President Trump is putting forth this agenda, this law and order agenda, but he's also focused on a variety of other key affordability policies for the American people. Things like lowering drug prices and all of that great stuff. So, while the Democrats obstruct and they do a bad job at doing so because we're winning no matter what, the president remains focused on what they're trying to get in the way of and even more than they can even think of.
M
Matthew Alvarez5:54
This is a time to celebrate in our country when it comes to June and then of course July 4th. Obviously, we're less than a month from Freedom 250. Your thoughts on all the celebrations happening in DC and across the nation from now until then?
A
Abigail Jackson6:06
I think it is absolutely incredible and what a special time in our nation's history. We are celebrating our 250th birthday of the greatest country in the history of the world. And it's just fabulous that we have a president who really recognizes how special this is for our country and who is giving our nation's capital and these celebrations the attention they deserve. It's awesome that we are cleaning up Washington DC and making our monuments and memorials beautiful and gleaming ahead of the 250th birthday for visitors and residents. And I think there will be lots of fun surprises coming up and different things the president is looking forward to doing to celebrating our country.
M
Matthew Alvarez6:51
Exactly. And then June 24th that America is Back rally. Pretty awesome stuff especially for us here at Right Side covering the president since 2015. So, it must be exciting times to be working at the White House. To be honest,
A
Abigail Jackson7:02
It is absolutely an incredibly exciting time to be working at the White House and more importantly for this president. I can't even imagine what it would be like under past administrations when they didn't have a leader like President Trump who was giving these celebrations the grandeur that they deserve.
M
Matthew Alvarez7:19
And finally, so June 14th of course this coming Sunday, less than a week away from the UFC match outside the White House. Now, the question is, you know, I saw online people saying, 'Oh, why is there a fight?' And a lot of people are saying they're happy about it. Then they showed the picture when it was Biden on the South Lawn with the, you know, the drag shows and all the things. It's like, guys, come on, really? You know, it's America here when it comes to things like, you know, boxing or UFC, right?
A
Abigail Jackson7:48
Yes. Absolutely. And as you and your viewers and the American people know, President Trump loves sporting events. He loves all of these things that the American people love. Last night he was at the Knicks game. And so the president is not going to be shy when it comes to embracing these American pastimes and celebrating them and celebrating everything our country has to offer. So what you're seeing on the South Lawn is just another example of that. And it is a heck of a lot better than what Joe Biden did when he was in office.
M
Matthew Alvarez8:17
100%. Again, Abigail Jackson, the White House deputy press secretary, talking about the Secure America Act. I'm sure we'll be talking more about that throughout the week. I mean, this is really from the White House, the executive branch. Is it kind of putting pressure now on the legislative branch to get this thing passed?
A
Abigail Jackson8:33
Right. Well, we absolutely want to see it passed. Yes. And look forward to talking to you more about it.
M
Matthew Alvarez8:40
All right, Abigail Jackson, thank you again for joining us here on Right Side. And the Secure America Act in less than 24 hours since that interview has passed the House. Of course, it already passed the Senate because it was originally introduced in the US Senate. So, now it's on to President Trump's desk. That's what our live broadcast is all about today. So, in about an hour or so, we're going to see the president signing the Secure America Act into law. Again, that's all about DHS and CBP, Customs Border Protection and ICE, so getting fully funded through President Trump's term. We'll talk more about that in just a bit. Meanwhile, switching gears now to RFK Jr. and Dr. Oz. They're addressing hospital pricing transparency. Director, are we going to a sponsor? We can go to that clip. Let's go to clip number one.
R
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.9:32
Hi, I'm Robert F. Kennedy Jr., your HHS secretary. I'm joined today by CMS administrator, Dr. Mehmet Oz. For years, Americans have walked into hospitals with no idea what their care would cost and walked out with medical bills that wiped out their savings. That ends now. Under President Trump's leadership, HHS is finally getting serious about hospital price transparency. The goal is simple. Make health care more affordable by giving every American the ability to shop for care, compare prices, and make informed decisions before they set foot in a hospital. Price should never be a surprise. Cost should never be a barrier. Since President Trump's first term, every hospital in America has been required to post their prices online publicly in a format anyone can access, showing what the hospital actually charges for every service it provides. Unfortunately, the Biden administration did not enforce these rules. It even told hospitals they could get away with ballpark estimates, not real prices. Immediately after returning, President Trump told us to fix that. So last year, Secretary Kennedy and I worked on regulations to get the real prices to you, the American people. We want to make it easy for you to compare hospital prices against other hospitals nearby so you can get the best care for you and your family. But you can't do that if hospitals aren't complying with our new requirements. Now, we told hospitals we would begin enforcing these rules on April 1st. Since then, our teams have been actively looking at thousands of hospitals to see if they are following the rules. Consider this a formal notice to every hospital in America still hiding prices from patients. We know who you are. Significant enforcement began two months ago. The grace period has ended. There are no further extensions. If your hospital is not yet in compliance, you are in violation of federal law. The CMS has identified and sent letters to more than 500 hospital facilities who are not yet following the rules. Many of the hospitals are owned by large, well-resourced health systems, billion-dollar networks with armies of lawyers and compliance teams and lobbyists, and are still hiding their prices from the patients that they serve. That is unacceptable. If those hospitals do not come into compliance and transparently display their prices to patients, they will be fined to the fullest extent that the law allows. Federal fines accumulate every single day. Larger facilities can face penalties reaching $2 million for a single year of non-compliance.
M
Mehmet Oz12:08
Pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, hospitals. No administration in history has done more to hold healthcare conglomerates accountable than the Trump administration. We will use every tool at our disposal to drive down costs for the American people. Price transparency is central to President Trump's great health care plan to lower costs, reduce premiums, and put patients back in control. Our message to hospitals is simple. Post your real prices. Come into compliance immediately or prepare for serious consequences. Don't wait for a penalty notice. By then, it may be too late.

But let's switch gears and take a look at a message from the Secretary of State about Freedom 250 happening in less than a month.
M
Marco Rubio15:19
The story of America is a story of a miracle. And this year, we come together to ensure that flame burns brighter than ever. Freedom 250 is a celebration of everything that is America. From the great American State Fair to the Freedom Plane and our Freedom Truck Museums crossing the heartland, we are showcasing the incredible character of our country. It all leads to the National Mall for the Salute to America celebration on July 4th in Washington DC. This is a moment to honor our past, celebrate our present, and look with boundless optimism toward the future. Join us as we witness history. Register for your free tickets today at freedom250.org.

Matthew Alvarez16:18
And of course, June 24th, President Trump kicking off the Great American State Fair in Washington DC at the National Mall with a speech. So, it's going to be quite the rally in DC on June 24th. And of course, that Great American State Fair that goes all the way until July 10th. So, a lot to celebrate, of course, for our freedom here in this country. And as many people are saying, for another 250 years as well. It'd be great to see that. There's a few things we have to do to get there. Maybe pass the Save America Act. That might be a good start outside of having President Trump in office right now. Much better than Kamala Harris or Biden and the other crew. So anyway, the House Freedom Caucus says Americans don't want big brother controlling our cars, tracking our money, or spying on our lives. If Congress is going to renew FISA, then we must enact meaningful changes. So, let's check out these messages from the House floor in clip number three.
T
Thomas Massie17:16
I am grateful indeed for the opportunity to address one of the most consequential issues facing our great republic. The federal government's warrantless surveillance of the American people. For years, Americans have watched headline after headline exposing the intelligence community's abuse of its authority. And I thought I would share just a few of those. Most recently, John Brennan admitted that there is a legion of deep state operatives in DOJ and CIA who are resisting Trump's orders. And why is that important? It's because they're the ones who violate the warrant requirement as well. House approves reauthorization of five FISA 702 warrantless spy powers. And yet, when you go and you read it, we've got problems still. We still have problems. And why do we know that? Because the FISC, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, has issued a report. It's classified. Former DNI Tulsi Gabbard wanted to declassify that secret, but critical court document, but was denied. We need that to be actually, in my opinion, that needs to be released before we ever take a vote on FISA again. And so I'll just leave it there on those headlines and get back to this. President Trump has an agenda. He won the popular vote in a landslide in my home state. He got 160,000 votes more than the Democrat. And how did he do it? Because the people wanted him to get his agenda through. But it's being sidestepped and avoided. And what were the same people that are causing the problem? According to John Brennan, it's the same people that spied on President Trump's campaign previously. They abused FISA. The abuses are not hypothetical. They are not ancient. They didn't just happen in 2016. They are ongoing and that's what Tulsi Gabbard and the FISC Court have discovered and we need to discover that as well. Section 702 has been used to search the communications of protesters across the political spectrum. 19,000 donors to a congressional campaign, members of Congress, congressional staff, journalists, and ordinary Americans who did nothing wrong. And now it has come to my attention that the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court has got this opinion that's sitting there. It details significant government compliance failures under section 702. We need that to be declassified. The American people, this great republic, need to know what their government is doing.
The opinion must be declassified in order for us to know what we're doing in Congress to take a vote on this. Without transparency, the American people and their elected representatives cannot have a meaningful fact-driven debate about the future of this powerful authority. Reports indicate the opinion will show persistent systemic violations of the law, including US person queries that directly violate the oversight requirements Congress established in the Reforming Intelligence and Securing America Act just from a couple of years ago. One filtering tool tied to these violations has been shut down, but similar tools remain in use. This is exactly why I've consistently pushed for a warrant requirement for US person queries. The Fourth Amendment is not ambiguous. It says, quote, 'No warrant shall issue, but upon probable cause.' Close quote. Not sometimes, not when it is convenient, not unless the intelligence community thinks it takes too long. We keep hearing the same tired argument. Getting a warrant is too hard. Getting a warrant takes too long. But that is simply false. The work we have done in my bill, HR 7816, the Protect Liberty and End Warrantless Surveillance Act, ensures that is the case. HR 7816 includes targeted practical exceptions for imminent threats, cybersecurity emergencies, and consent situations. It protects Americans and preserves the government's ability to act quickly when lives are on the line. Anyone claiming otherwise either hasn't taken the time to read the bill, they've read some propaganda, they've accepted the intelligence community's narrative, or they simply do not want reform. As we in Congress keep negotiating what a FISA and section 702 reform should look like, we seem to be forgetting that my bill is already the negotiated bill. We worked with a wide range of members and stakeholders. We built a bipartisan coalition and last Congress we reached a 212 to 212 vote on my warrant requirement. One vote away from passing. It was sitting at 212 to 211 for a long time and then someone came in and cast a no vote. This is fundamentally the same bill. The work has been done. The consensus exists. The excuses have run out. Meanwhile, the intelligence community continues to assure us that this time we'll follow the rules. This time we'll respect the Constitution. This time we'll stop violating Americans' privacy. Mr. Speaker, we have heard that promise for a decade and more. And the latest FISA court opinion, the one they are trying to keep classified, proves those promises are empty. President Trump's administration took historic steps to increase transparency across government and I appreciate former Director Gabbard's stated commitment to declassify this FISC opinion. The commitment must be honored. Declassification is essential to restoring trust, strengthening accountability, and ensuring every branch of government operates within constitutional limits. Because at the end of the day, this debate comes down to a simple principle. If you want to spy on Americans, you got to get a warrant. That's not radical. That's not partisan. That is the Constitution. Benjamin Franklin warned that those who trade essential liberty for temporary safety deserve neither. For too long, Washington has done exactly that. Traded away constitutional privacy for the illusion of security. We are told that without warrantless surveillance, America will be less safe. That is wrong. We can have both liberty and safety. And it is the government's job to protect both, not force Americans to choose between them. We cannot allow a legacy going to our grandchildren who will then end up growing up in a country where mass surveillance is normal and constitutional protections are optional. Congress has a responsibility right now to stop that future from becoming reality. And let me just add this. When we talk about CBDC, it is the last leg of the stool of surveillance. If CBDC were to become a reality with the mass surveillance that is in FISA right now, guess what? It wouldn't be too long before we start looking like our main foe internationally, the Chinese, where they surveil everything. You know what? The UK surveils everything as well. They watch everything. And what CBDC would do would allow them to shut down the entire banking system or your micro banking system and control you. It can be abused so quickly, so thoroughly, so completely. So, I will just tell you I'm grateful for the bipartisan members who have joined me in this fight. We've got a lot of them. We may not agree on much, but we do agree on this. The Constitution still matters. It's real. And in just 13 years, we'll be celebrating its 250th. And if the government wants to search Americans' communications, which is what they want to do and it is what they are doing, it must get a warrant. That's the requirement of the Constitution that I took an oath to protect and defend. Mr. Speaker and my friend from Texas, Mr. Self, I thank you. I thank you for this. And I would say this, be careful. There are some illusions out there. There's some false prophets coming forward to tell you that they're going to fix this problem, but they're offering a false doctrine and there should be no hope in that. We should put no faith in that. Mr. Speaker, I yield back.

Keith Self26:37
America's founding generation did not take up arms merely over taxes. They rebelled against a tyrannical government that planted spies in their taverns, searched their homes, and read their private letters. Benjamin Franklin understood this threat deeply. He popularized the rattlesnake as a symbol of America, first with his join or die cartoon and later by praising the defiant motto, don't tread on me. He also delivered a timeless warning. Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. This year, 2026, marks the 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence. There could be no more fitting time to reaffirm the principles of liberty than by dismantling the surveillance state that has quietly eroded them. That starts with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, FISA, which has become the modern incarnation of the General Warrants that ignited the revolution. Created originally to track foreign enemies on foreign soil, section 702 has morphed into a sprawling domestic surveillance machine that sweeps up Americans' communications and treats the Fourth Amendment like a suggestion. On June 12th, Congress faces another deadline to renew section 702. The intelligence community wants a clean reauthorization, but we are not going to accept that. Congress should not accept that. And no American, if they were actually told the truth for once about what their own government is doing to them, would accept that. This is not opposition to national security. It is a refusal to sacrifice essential liberty for temporary safety. If Congress is going to renew FISA, then we must enact meaningful changes. First, repeal the dangerously broad expansion of the term electronic communication service provider. It now allows the government to compel churches, small businesses, and community organizations to hand over Americans' communications. Second, strengthen the FISA Court's amicus curiae program so independent voices can actually defend Americans' rights in secret proceedings. Third, close the data broker loophole that allows the FBI, IRS, and every other federal agency to bypass the Constitution by simply buying Americans' geolocation, metadata, and browsing history off the market. Most urgently, require a warrant for backdoor searches of Americans' communications. At peak, the government conducted nearly three million warrantless searches of US citizens' data, many of them illegal. Foreign threats must be watched, but Americans deserve probable cause and a real warrant on American soil. In addition, we must ban the central bank digital currency permanently. A CBDC is the ultimate surveillance tool that allows the government to track, control, and potentially freeze every purchase you make. The CBDC cannot ever be allowed to operate in the United States. It is the biggest threat to our privacy. And as you know, while we are at it, let's secure our elections by ensuring that only American citizens vote in American elections. Mr. Speaker, our founders never intended for us to trade liberty for supposed safety. Our founders never imagined a day where illegal aliens would be voting in our elections. In this 250th anniversary year of American independence, Congress must draw a line in the sand. Let us stand with our forefathers, the Constitution, and the American people who want secure elections and for the government to stop spying on them. Reject the rubber stamp FISA renewal. Pass these reforms. Secure our elections. Ban CBDC forever. Restore the Fourth Amendment. Protect our republic. The rattlesnake is once again rattling. It's time for Congress to listen.
M
Matthew Alvarez31:22
So, that was Texas Representative Keith Self who will be joining the broadcast tomorrow at about noon. So, if we're live, we'll have that live. If not, we'll record it and air it. But the point is, this is all on the heels of FISA. This is all coming down to Friday to see if this is going to be, as he mentioned, a rubber stamp of whatever is going on now versus the reforms of FISA. So, it'll be great to speak with the representative tomorrow. And then, of course, we'll see how that goes on Friday when it comes to that foreign intelligence FISA. All right. So, also, let's do this. Let's go to President Trump real quick. He did post something about an hour ago about the fake news media. So, I'm going to read that and we'll get to a sponsor. The fake news media refuses to report how effective the US naval blockade is. The most successful blockade in the history of naval warfare. Nothing gets through unless we want it to. The president says it is a steel wall. Iran is doing zero business, not paying their military or any of their bills and quickly becoming a failed nation. Lots of oil is getting out. Praise be to, he says Allah here, President Donald J. Trump. So, that a message about an hour ago from the president. Maybe we have a live look in DC. We'll take a look at that in a little bit. But let's go to some of our great sponsors, including Tax Network USA. Meanwhile, there are a number of financial questions a number of people are facing these days. Do you owe back taxes or have unfiled tax returns? Or have you filed every year but still keep owing? Did you retire and suddenly get hit with a tax bill you didn't expect? Or maybe you're a business owner, some messy books, and a balance you just can't afford. Maybe you pulled money from your 401k or IRA early and now the IRS wants its share. However, your tax issue started. Unfortunately, the outcome is the same. Your balance is just not going down. Penalties are growing, interest compounds, and a lot of people, you know, are still owing over the years. And you can get help with all of this as the IRS is just not waiting. The IRS is enforcing collections through wage garnishments, bank levies, and property seizures. They can even file for you without your consent. But this is where Tax Network USA comes in. With more than 15 years in business, there hasn't been a tax case they haven't seen or resolved. They specialize in tax controversies and help taxpayers nationwide get back on track by resolving back taxes and unfiled returns once and for all. So whether you owe $10,000 or $10 million, their team has really resolved over $1 billion in tax debt. So they could do the same for you, but you have to call now. They're offering a free investigation call with the IRS. After that investigation, they put a clear case plan in place to resolve your tax problem and get you back on track. So this is really about using your legal rights to take control before the government sets the terms for you. So don't wait for another IRS letter or a frozen bank account. Just call them 877-479-6503 or go to tnusa.com/rsbn. Tax Network. Let's also go to our next sponsor here on Right Side Broadcasting Network. All Family Pharmacy of course summer travel season is here. You may have planned the flights or the road trip, booked the hotel, packed the bags, but did you think about your medications? Most people don't until they're three states away and realize they left something important at home or someone gets sick and there's no doctor in sight. That's why more Americans are turning to our good sponsor All Family Pharmacy before they travel. So, if you already have a prescription for essential medications, they can simply fill it. Now, if not, you can complete a short medical form online and they connect you with a licensed doctor who will review your request and prescribe if appropriate. So they have more than 400 medications, you know, anything from antibiotics, ivermectin, allergy medications, emergency inhalers, maintenance meds, everything shipped straight to your door. So don't wait till something goes wrong. Just prepare now. allfamilypharmacy.com/rsbn and use that RSBN10 promo code and you see the QR code there as well to save 10% off using the RSBN10 promo code. All right. So, at 10 o'clock, so we're looking at what 41 minutes from now, the president will sign the Secure America Act into law in the Oval Office. This is after the legislation passed in the House just yesterday afternoon and then previously the Senate where the bill was originally introduced. So, specifically, this is a $70 billion Republican bill to fund ICE, Border Patrol, and other immigration enforcement agencies through the remainder of President Trump's term. So, no more messing around with funding for the Department of Homeland Security. We'll be seeing the president talk about that and sign that into law here in just a little bit. And I'm sure he'll most likely take questions from the press as there's a lot going on in Iran as well. A lot of back and forth when it comes to attacks there. So, we'll get the 411 as they say from 47, the president. Let's do this. Let's also go to one of our other clips here because at the top of the hour, as I mentioned, the president will sign that Secure America Act, but here are some details about that act from Louisiana Congressman Steve Scalise in clip number four.
S
Steve Scalise36:40
I arise in strong support of this bill. And Madam Speaker, we should all be here today to express our strong support for this important piece of legislation to properly fully fund the Department of Homeland Security, including yes, the people who actually are tasked with carrying out our immigration laws. That's the job of ICE and CBP. These are the laws that we all pass. I know our colleagues on the other side of the aisle would love to go back to open borders, but they're not fortunately going to go back to open borders because we won't let them. Madam Chair, we worked with President Trump to secure the border. In fact, it was the number one issue in the 2024 election. The American people spoke loud and clear and yes, that was on the ballot and everybody knew where each side was. And you would think now that that issue is resolved that we could be here in Congress to work together to properly make sure that we fund the Department of Homeland Security. But sadly, that's not what has happened. You've seen the Democrats time and time again shut this department down. The Department of Homeland Security formed out of September 11th. You would think some people on the other side of the aisle are acting like it's still September 10th, like we don't have threats on our homeland, but we have threats coming from more places than ever because the other side let millions of people into our country. Millions of people illegally come into our country, including many violent criminals. They wanted you to think, Madam Chair, that it's just everybody coming in to seek the American dream. We have a legal method for that to happen. Every country does, by the way. United States is the most generous nation in the world in terms of our legal process to come to America. Yes, legal. That means you have to follow the rules to be a part of this great American dream. And if somebody doesn't want to follow those rules, including the prior president, then what it does is wreak havoc. And what kind of havoc? I know the other side loves to just attack law enforcement every single day. The party that tried to defund the police. Yes, they're still at it. This vote today, make no mistake, if you're voting yes, you're not only voting to secure America's border, you're voting to fund law enforcement. And if you vote no, you are voting to defund the police. Those are the people, the law enforcement officers risking their lives to keep our community safe.

All right, so we'll be hearing more about the Secure America Act at the top of the hour from the White House. This is RSBN Live. I'm Matthew Alvarez. We'll be right back with a lot more after the break.

Matthew Alvarez41:07
Welcome back to RSBN Live. I'm Matthew Alvarez. Before we get to an in case you missed it, interview with the great senator from Alabama, Tommy Tuberville. And we have a number of other stories we'll be talking about and throwing to some videos here, especially on a way back Wednesday from Florida. We'll give you more details in just a second. Let's go to some of our sponsors here on Right Side Broadcasting Network, specifically mypillow.com/rsbn. Of course, Father's Day is June 21st, so we're getting there about 11 days until then. So, you have a lot of time right now to order some great gifts and great things from mypillow.com/rsbn. Of course, whether it's slides, slippers, the pillows, the sheets. And we're not talking about just random, you know, pack of plastic, you know, covered sheets, and here you go. The Giza Dream sheets are amazing. Literally, they're great. Very comfortable. So, check it out there. Go to mypillow.com/rsbn. Of course, the great Mike Lindell running for governor in Minnesota, running this company and others out there. So, talk about a winner, going from a really tough situation in life and getting his life radically transformed because of the power of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. How awesome is that? And now, look at him, you know, doing a lot of great things out there for this country. So, mypillow.com/rsbn. Let's also go to this. If you'd like to donate to Right Side, all you have to do is go to rsbnetwork.com/donate. So, it's rsbnetwork.com/donate. Now, we are based in Alabama, and I love Alabama. I didn't know I would love Alabama so much. I'm not going to talk more about it because I think some people are thinking, well, let's keep it a secret. We don't want too many people coming to Alabama, but I'm sure, you know, that's up for debate. But the point is, it's a great state here. And speaking of this great state, there's going to be most likely a brand new governor coming up and his name is Tommy Tuberville. Of course, the former Auburn Tigers football coach, the current US senator in Alabama. I think this guy's a rock star because of what he says and what he does for not only Alabama, for we the people across this union. Let's take a look at what he has to say just yesterday. Joining us now is Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville. Senator Tuberville, thank you so much for stopping by here on Right Side Broadcasting Network.
T
Tommy Tuberville43:38
Thank you. Glad to be here.
M
Matthew Alvarez43:40
Glad you're with us. You know, we just heard from Governor Jeff Landry and I know that you're running for governor in Alabama. Can you give us
An update on your campaign? I know you're touring from state to state. How's it going out there?
T
Tommy Tuberville43:53
Well, it's going well. We just had the primary a couple weeks ago and I think there was three of us in the primary and we got 80, almost 86% of the vote which is pretty good. And now we're preparing for the general election in November and we'll run against a former Democrat senator from the state in Alabama and we'll hit the ground running here probably about the end of July. We'll work very, very hard at becoming governor and we've already started the process of planning when we do take that position. So we won't hit the ground in January next year and not know what we're doing. We've done a lot of planning, a lot of talking to other governors across the country and a lot of senators up here have been governors before. So I've learned a lot from them.
M
Matthew Alvarez44:44
Exactly. And then so when we're looking at Alabama, of course, Huntsville, Birmingham, the Gulf Shores, places like Auburn, of course, where you were the Auburn football coach, that kind of thing. What do you want to see with the cities and the towns and some of the rural areas in Alabama?
T
Tommy Tuberville45:00
Yeah. Well, we are a rural state. 60% of the state is rural, but we've got a lot of industry that's moving in. President Trump's been very kind to us. We just got Space Command that is moving to Huntsville. Huntsville is a place if a lot of people hadn't been there, you need to take your kids there. It's where NASA is. We have space camp. We have a lot of things that you can see that have been on a lot of the moon missions and early moon shots, Saturn, all those things that go with it. And then of course we have the Gulf, which we redid our port in the last couple of years. We have a deep water port now that is very accessible and it's going to be a big part of our economy. Last week we cut the ribbon on a new Coast Guard Academy which is in Birmingham and so we're really growing. There's a lot of good things going on. We have a lot of minerals. We have obviously a lot of trees with being very rural. The one group of people that I'm very concerned about not just in Alabama but all over the country. I'm on a committee here in the Senate and our farmers are in trouble. They're having a lot of problems with foreign lumber, foreign food being processed and moved into our country. President Trump's trying to help on that. But I tell you, farmers in our country have not had a good year in the last 5 years. So they've got a lot of problems, they've got a lot of digging to do to get out of the hole that they've been put in.
M
Matthew Alvarez46:33
I know. I hear you loud and clear and I'm sure they highly appreciate someone that understands what's going on, a common sense leader like yourself. And that's not just saying it. We've seen the actions. We've seen what you've said out there. Let's dive into some of that quickly here as we await the White House live event. Can I get your reaction outside of Alabama, more on a national front now on the mail-in ballots that have continually been counted in California and of course the LA mayoral race. Just your thoughts about that overall.
T
Tommy Tuberville47:02
Yeah, it's ridiculous. You know what it is? It's a 30-day voting period where they have an opportunity to come up with a vote somewhere, whether it's mail-in ballots or whatever, ballot harvesting to make sure they get the right person elected. Here's the thing that I'm very disappointed in. We've got what we call the Save America Act here, and we voted on it the other night, and we had Republican senators vote against this. Now, if we do not start taking care and making sure our elections are fair and safe, it's going to be over for capitalism in this country. Socialism will overtake us. They're on the way to doing it. Communism's next. And we have Republican senators and all the senators on the Democrat side that they want nothing to do with having safe and fair elections. So, if we didn't learn anything before this, even with President Trump getting cheated in 2020, if we didn't learn from California what they're doing to their elections, then it's our fault. It's the fault of the senators of the United States that we will not vote this in. Now, if we've got to break the filibuster, let's bust it. We're not going to have another chance because there's at least 20, maybe even more than that, states that are going to cheat. They're going to take advantage of the system and if we don't put rules on this system to where they can't do it and a lot of these people are saying, 'Well, listen, we've never done it before. We don't want to get the federal government involved in elections.' Well, if we don't get the federal government involved, it's going to be over. It's going to be over with as we know it. Our kids and grandkids are going to have to suffer through it. And it's because we got a lot of traditionalists up here, so to speak, in the Senate that won't vote to make the change and federalize these elections.
M
Matthew Alvarez48:58
It's 2026, not 1996. But I don't mean that for everything in life. I just mean that specifically to your point. It's called the Save America Act for a reason. We know that if they are in charge, they will nuke the filibuster any day of the week, pack the court and all that. Let's talk about another issue that you've been outspoken about. Before I get into that issue, I am wondering, say you're governor of Alabama, will you take a... I know you'll be taking care of Alabama, but will you still want that national outspoken voice in politics or what would be your kind of game plan?
T
Tommy Tuberville49:33
No, we're going to speak for the people of Alabama, but people of Alabama are a lot like most of the states across this country. They want to go by the Constitution. They want safe neighborhoods, safe streets. They want lower taxes, smaller government. The same things we talk about up here all the time. But yes, I'm going to be very outspoken about immigration. I'm going to be very outspoken about lowering taxes. I'm going to be very outspoken about law enforcement and the DOJ not being weaponized against the people across this country. Give the people, the taxpayers of this country, what they pay for, and that's a free and fair society in which they'll raise a family.
M
Matthew Alvarez50:17
Man, if that's not a pitch to come to Alabama, I don't know what is. Let's talk about Sharia law. I know it's not welcome in Alabama and under your watch, it won't be happening here, but do you have concern of it spreading in other parts of the country?
T
Tommy Tuberville50:32
Oh, it's spreading. It's almost out of control. Europe is gone. They're up above 5% now of immigration that people have come in that are not assimilating. I've got a law that I'm trying to pass here that says any immigrant that comes here has got to be merit-based, no chain migration. You come here and you assimilate or you go home. What's happening now is we've got a very old and outdated immigration system that is allowing people to come in this country that can pretty much do what they want in terms of not assimilating, not going by our constitution, having their own laws, having their own courts, having their own police. And that doesn't fit here. You know, we've had a lot of people lose their lives to keep this country free and to allow the people of this country to enjoy a constitution that takes and protects them. So, we're allowing a group of people to come in. I'm not going to say just Muslims. We, you know, a Muslim group comes into this country. If you don't assimilate with us and you go by Sharia law and the Quran and you teach your kids death to Americans, death to infidels, you don't deserve to be here because that's not how this country runs and we can't survive like that. Now, if you come here and I know some people here that are from Muslim faith, they go by the Constitution. They don't preach and teach Sharia law and the Quran and they live a life like we do. They want this country to be better. If you're not coming here to make the United States a better country and go by the Constitution, we don't want you. We want you to go home. But right now, we've got a lot of people think that they're good for this country. And I don't know where they're getting that from. Most of them are from the far-left Democrats. And it's just if it gets to a point we get 5% in this country that are teaching things that don't go by our rules and laws, it's going to be over with for our kids and grandkids.
M
Matthew Alvarez52:27
It's so true. And you know what? I bet you that a lot of people that are watching this live or on replay, what you're saying is resonating with the massive majority of the heartbeat of America. And I'm not just saying that. I really mean that personally and also professionally because this is what's needed, what you're saying here. If you're just joining us right now, obviously is Senator Tommy Tuberville out of Alabama running for governor. Please rewatch this entire interview if you can. The words that he's speaking is exactly what I think a lot of us believe in out there. Also, finally, sir, the Freedom 250 celebration is only a few weeks away. What are your thoughts leading up to our 250th in about 25 days from now?
T
Tommy Tuberville53:07
Well, it's a great time for our country. Now, many countries have made it 250 years with the constitutional republic that we have, a constitution that's stood up to time. It stood up to people wanting to tear it down like the ones that we have here now. Our country's changed a lot in the last 10 or 15 years starting with the Obama infiltration of what he wanted to do, bring socialism and communism into this country. But at the end of the day, we're going to celebrate. Hopefully, we have safe celebrations. I can see down the mall from my office and see the things that they're building, getting ready for a huge celebration. I just hope people are safe. They understand that this is a time to enjoy our country. 250 years and then after this year, we need to understand that we need another 250 years. But if we continue down this path, we're not going to make it 10 years. I mean, this country is coming to a close very fast the way that the Democrats are pushing the far-left agenda and allowing things to happen. 20 million people in four years under Joe Biden, if they ever take over again and open up the borders, it's over. You can sack the bats and go home because we're in a situation now where we can't afford what we have now, much less bringing in 20 million more people to try to change the way that we do things in this country.
M
Matthew Alvarez54:31
I agree with you 100%. I believe a lot of people do as well that are watching. And then on top of that, the National Guard and all of the law and order in DC right now. Isn't that a great thing to see there, sir? When you walk by a National Guardsman, you're probably like, you know, a lot of cities should do this, shouldn't they?
T
Tommy Tuberville54:47
Yeah, they should. I'll probably do the same thing when we go back to Alabama. We've got some cities that are having problems in the streets and neighborhoods. I tell people this. You can have a great family and a great education, a great job and money in the bank, but if you don't have safe streets and neighborhoods, you can't enjoy it because it's like we're living in a prison. And you know, I'm going back to Alabama to change that, to make sure everybody has a fair opportunity in life. That's what this country gives you, an opportunity to do what you want, but you have to go within our laws. And we have groups of people right now across the country that are absolutely going against the laws that were created by our forefathers. And we see National Guard people up here all the time. We actually have people from Alabama up here right now. National Guard. President Trump is building more and more of those. You're seeing more and more of those going into the month of July for our celebration. So, we need them. We need them up here because this mayor, this city council up here, they were a disaster until President Trump got in town. President Trump's running this city now and thank God he is because there was no leadership before he got here.
M
Matthew Alvarez55:57
100% the truth right there. United States Senator Tommy Tuberville, gubernatorial candidate in Alabama. Sir, thank you again for joining us here on Right Side.
T
Tommy Tuberville56:05
Thank you. God bless.
M
Matthew Alvarez56:06
Thank you.
All right. Great to catch up with Tommy Tuberville. Of course, good morning. For those of you just watching and or just joining us here on the live stream, welcome to RSBN Live. I'm Matthew Alvarez. At 10:00 this morning in just a little bit from now, the president will sign the Secure America Act into law. I hope to say one day that he'll be signing the Save America Act into law as well, but we'll see what happens there in Congress. Let's go to a couple of our sponsors before we move on here on Right Side Broadcasting Network, including kowshi.com/rsbn. A lot of times, or at least the last three weeks at least, it's been about the mayoral race in Los Angeles. Of course, now we saw all the counting of the ballots that went on and Spencer Pratt went from second and on the way to a runoff election in November to not even part of the game at all. He's third place and not even advancing. Steve Hilton, however, is advancing, the Republican gubernatorial candidate that is endorsed by President Trump. So, at least from the state government aspect, there's still some hope there, but we'll see what happens in California. But anyway, all of that people are talking about on kowshi.com, whether people are betting or trading or checking out polls or just, you know, looking at the site there. kowshi.com/rsbn. More than a million users on this site, but also that number continually increasing day by day. You access them by going to the QR code. Also download the app if you'd like or go to kowshi.com/rsbn. Great sponsor here on Right Side Broadcasting Network. Same goes for our next sponsor here, covepure.com/rsbn. You may have seen this out there. Apparently, researchers have been documenting male fish developing female characteristics in rivers all across our country. So, we're told it comes from birth control pills that wastewater treatment plants can't fully filter out. So, it then it's apparently in the same water that runs into your home. So, if you're a man watching right now or you have sons, grandsons, or loved ones in your life, this isn't something you can ignore. That's why it's so important to use Cove Pure to purify your water. This is how this actually works. When people take medication, their bodies don't absorb all of it. The rest gets flushed, goes through the wastewater treatment, and those plants were never built to catch pharmaceutical compounds. So, this thing called estrone from birth control pills or antibiotics or anti-depressants, they just come right back out of your tap. Your standard pitcher filter from the store isn't going to cut it here because these compounds are just too small and too persistent. So, you need something that can filter things at a molecular level. And that's exactly what Cove Pure is. Their clear wave reverse osmosis technology is certified to remove up to 99.9% of contaminants. So that estrone or fluoride, PFAS, lead, arsenic, basically anything that isn't water gets filtered out. Unlike traditional reverse osmosis systems, Cove Pure couldn't be easier to set up. You just put it on your counter, you fill it up with water, and plug it in. And the best part is it lets you select whatever temperature you want. So, hot water for, you know, tea or coffee, cold water for the gym, maybe warm water for baby bottles, one tap for the cold, warm or hot, and you get it instantly. Those fish of course didn't have a choice about what was in their water. You do. So, go to covepure.com/rsbn, and right now you can get $250 off right now. Now, that might sound like a certain dollar amount, like, wow, $250, that's great, but how expensive is it? Well, here's the thing. Check it out. covepure.com/rsbn because this is a huge investment into drinking water from now until Jesus returns. You know what I mean? So instead of drinking tap water or maybe something a filter in the store that doesn't do the job that this thing does, this is all worth it. covepure.com/rsbn. All right, so it's 9:44. It is Wednesday. It is June 10th. Thanks so much for joining us here on Right Side. Speaking of 10, at 10:00 in about 16 minutes from now, the president will sign the Secure America Act into law in the Oval Office. So, this law will fund ICE, Border Patrol, and other immigration enforcement agencies throughout the remainder of President Trump's term. Speaking of the White House, speaking of DC in a way, let's take a look at the latest photos of the reflecting pool along the National Mall. It went from gray and gloomy to bright and American flag blue as the president says. So you see the water there. This is some recent photos from the White House. Looking forward to seeing that myself. And if you're going to DC over the next month or two, obviously a lot of people checking that out. And it's thanks to the crew, thanks to the workers there that were able to do that. And the president said, 'You know what? I want to thank them, too.' He brought him into the Oval Office. Check it out.
N
Narrator1:01:13
Now, Mr. President, if I have you saw the... Oh, you hate it.
D
Donald Trump1:01:17
I'll do it.
N
Narrator1:01:21
How is your football team?
D
Donald Trump1:01:23
It's going to be very good.
N
Narrator1:01:25
They have a good quarterback.
D
Donald Trump1:01:26
Well, you need a quarterback. I really appreciate... So the two teams are good.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:01:37
So apparently that happened yesterday in the Oval Office. So we'll be going there again today, this time for the president signing that Secure America Act and of course most likely taking questions. A lot going on of course in the Middle East. If you've been looking at international news specifically with the conflict, some say the war, some say the conflict. I'm just saying what people are saying out there in Iran. So, before we continue on with that talking point, let's stick to the National Mall because the Freedom 250 spokesperson, Julia Friedland, joined us recently. Let's take a look at that. All right, let's go to a Freedom 250 spokesperson Julia Friedland, a friend of the broadcast, joins us now with an update on many patriotic events in store as we get ready to celebrate America's independence. Julia, thanks so much for joining us.
J
Julia Friedland1:02:29
Of course. Thank you for having me back on.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:02:32
Yeah, definitely. Definitely. Let's talk about it. So, what's going on coming up? I know it's June 24th is the president's big rally and then can you take it from there?
J
Julia Friedland1:02:40
Yes. So, we just announced that June 24th, the president will officially kick off our 250th birthday celebration. For those of you who do not know, we're throwing a big party for America. This summer, June 25th through July 10th, the Great American State Fair will run on the National Mall. We'll have representation from every state and territory all in one place. As you mentioned, the president will be kicking us off with an event on June 24th. We've got a lot in store. We've got blue ribbon competitions. We've got a massive fireworks show happening on July 4th, our official 250th birthday, and over 200 activations planned, military ensembles, and flyover events. It's going to be really great.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:03:22
Yeah, it sounds awesome. The Great American State Fair is something that I think people are looking forward to as well because it's going to be all 56, right? When it comes to states and territories, everybody's represented there and it's going to be cool. You go to each of these booths and you see some of your own home right there here in America. Isn't that pretty cool?
J
Julia Friedland1:03:41
Yes, it's awesome. Every state and territory will have a chance to share with the rest of the country and we'll even probably get some visitors from overseas who love America to learn more about each state and territory, their traditions, the things that make their state special and we're all united in one common theme that we're all Americans.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:03:59
Yeah. And then on top of that, when you go to DC, I think even now there are Freedom 250 merch, merch is all over the place. The swag is going to be something that people... I mean, think about it. Even in 10 years from now, it's pretty cool to have something from the 250th, right?
J
Julia Friedland1:04:14
Definitely. This would be something that we can share with our children and their grandchildren to say that you were part of America's 250th birthday celebrations. I would be remiss if I did not put a plug in for our website, freedom250.org. That's where you can get the swag that you just mentioned.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:04:30
Awesome. Freedom 250 spokesperson Julia Friedland, thanks so much for joining us here on Right Side.
J
Julia Friedland1:04:35
Thanks for having me. Definitely.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:04:39
All right, so June 24th getting closer. We're looking at 14 days from now. Speaking of 14, in 4 days from now, the UFC fight will take place on the south lawn of the White House. Would much rather watch that than a drag show like back in the day when Biden was in charge. Anyway, that's beside the point. Let's go to All Family Pharmacy right now. Summer travel season of course is here. You might have planned the flights or the road trip, booked the hotel, packed the bags, but did you think about your medications? Most people don't until they're three states away and realize they left something important at home. Or maybe someone gets sick and there's no doctor in sight. That's why more Americans are turning to our good sponsor, All Family Pharmacy, before they travel. If you already have a prescription for essential medications, they can fill it. And if not, you can complete a short medical form online and they connect you with a licensed doctor who will review your request and prescribe if appropriate. They have more than 400 medications and we're talking about antibiotics, ivermectin, allergy meds, emergency inhalers, maintenance medications, everything shipped straight to your door. So you don't have to wait until something goes wrong. You can just prepare now. Just go to allfamilypharmacy.com/rsbn and use that RSBN10 promo code. You'll get 10% off again using that RSBN10 promo code at checkout. Well, you could buy some gold and put some silver in your pocket at the same time. And some people are thinking, 'How am I going to buy some gold with the prices of things out there these days?' Well, check this out. One thing you can control right now that doesn't cost you anything out of pocket is diversifying your retirement savings. Birch Gold Group will help you convert an old 401k from a previous employer or an IRA into a physical IRA in gold. So something of course it's a hedge against inflation. And check this out. Right now Birch Gold is going to give you a special America 250 silver ounce. Let's see. Special America 250 1 silver round. Say that three times fast. For every $10,000 you purchase by July 19th. So 10 years ago, an ounce of gold was about $1,200. Today, it's around $4,500. The question is, where will it be 10 years from now? So just text TRUMP to 989898 to take advantage of free America 250 silver with qualifying purchase before July 10th. Again, just text TRUMP to 989898. You'll get that free info kit as well. Two great sponsors here on Right Side. We're about 9 minutes away from the White House event there where the president will sign into law the Secure America Act. If it's a little bit delayed, that's all right. We'll be here for you. And as soon as we see that live feed, we'll take you there. Speaking of taking you places, if you'd like to go with us to a Way Back Wednesday in Florida, a rally from years ago, you know, we know that part of the reason why RSBN is a thing is because we didn't see President Trump's entire speech or speeches back in the day in 2015, 2016, and the networks were, you know, dipping in and out of the speech and not really showing the crowds and all the things. Well, we said, you know what? Enough of that. And it was a video like this where it's a raw moment years and years ago where people are cheering and you could hear President Trump in the background. Let's look at clip number nine on this Way Back Wednesday to Florida.

And it was like that as you guys know in every city across the country during 2015, 2016 all the way through. And you know, it's wild to think you know that RSBN's been around for what 10 plus years now and we're covering of course news from a conservative perspective. Not afraid to say that because really at the end of the day it's common sense stuff. It's as I've mentioned plenty of times and some people here at the network said, you know, you do say God, family, country a lot. It's true. I did for a portion of time there the past few months, but really guys, that's all that's really what it's about. And that's our perspective, that lens that we look through when we do this thing called covering news. We don't play TV here at Right Side and most of the mainstream media does. And then of course in conservative media, not just Right Side. I know there's other networks and there's other, you know, podcasters and citizen journalists. And I'm glad there are. Let's have as many as possible because we got to keep the message going. This is a David versus Goliath thing. Goliath had so many years to grow over the past two, three, four decades when it comes to the nightly news and all the things. And I worked in mainstream media, you know, as a local reporter across this country. I've seen a lot. I've worked in New York City to Nashville to Grand Junction, Colorado, Columbus, Ohio. I've seen a lot. All right. But the point is to be able to speak just from my heart to you guys and not have to read a teleprompter right now and just, you know, kind of connect with you guys. That is totally different than anything really in the mainstream media. Even though you have some, you know, commentary on there. This is, I believe, what people are saying out there in this country that we want the Save America Act passed, that you want truth and transparency, you want all the things, you want accountability, you know. There you go. So, anyway, a little bit about us here at Right Side Broadcasting Network. As we're approaching the top of the hour, let's take a quick commercial break. I'm Matthew Alvarez. This is RSBN Live.

Hey y'all, it's Silk from Diamond and Silk Chitchat live. Look, don't forget to watch my show right here at Right Side Broadcasting Network. And I want you to support Right Side Broadcasting Network. It's imperative that you do so. Okay. Bye-bye.

Matthew Alvarez1:12:25
Welcome back to Right Side Broadcasting Network. I know our focus of course is on the White House. Today we're going to see President Trump sign the Secure America Act into law. If you're just joining us and you're saying, 'Well, wait a minute. What about the Save America Act?' Well, that's something that needs to be brought to the Senate floor again and hopefully passed through nuking the filibuster. As Tommy Tuberville rightly said, the senator of course from Alabama running for governor in this state. So, we know that's the Save America Act. The Secure America Act is all about funding for DHS, for Customs Border Protection, for ICE, and all of that. So, we're going to hear from the president here in just a little bit. We do know that the House passed this just yesterday. This originated in the US Senate. The bill did. The legislation of course was passed in the Senate, passed in the House. Now, it's to President Trump. Obviously, that's how it works in our government. But before I get to our next clip here, let's go to kowshi.com/rsbn. You see there on your screen the QR code. You can actually download the app if you'd like or just go to kowshi.com/rsbn. A lot of political trending topics out there that people are betting, trading, just checking out polls. You can do the same. And it's not only politics, sports, faith, weather, science, technology, movies, music, you name it, most likely it's right there. kowshi.com, great sponsor here on Right Side. Let's go to Cove Pure as well. You may have seen this. Apparently researchers have been documenting some male fish developing female characteristics in rivers all across our country. It comes from birth control pills. We're told that wastewater treatment plants can't fully filter out. And it's in the same water that runs into your home. So if you're a man watching right now or you have sons, grandsons, or loved ones out there, this isn't something you can really ignore. That's why it's so important to use Cove Pure to purify your water. So here's how this actually works. When people take medication in their bodies, of course, it doesn't absorb all of it. The rest gets flushed, goes through a wastewater treatment plant, and those plants were never built to catch pharmaceutical compounds. So, estrone from birth control pills, antibiotics, anti-depressants, they just come right back out of your tap. Your standard pitcher filter from the store isn't going to cut it here. These compounds are just too small, too persistent. You need something that can actually filter things at this molecular level. And that's exactly what Cove Pure is. Their clear wave reverse osmosis technology is certified to remove up to 99.9% of contaminants, estrone, fluoride, PFAS, lead, arsenic, basically anything that isn't water gets filtered out. So unlike traditional reverse osmosis systems, Cove Pure couldn't be easier to set up. You just put it on your counter, you fill it up with water, and plug it in. The best part is it lets you select whatever temperature water you want. So, hot water for coffee and tea, cold water maybe for the gym, warm water for baby bottles. One tap of the button there, whether it's cold, warm, or hot, and you get it instantly. And of course, those fish didn't have a choice about what was in their water. You do. So, just go to covepure.com/rsbn. And right now, you get $250 off. Great investment, great product. covepure.com/rsbn. All right, let's go to clip number 12 next. As the new White House video just released about President Trump's visit to New York City this week. Let's take a look.
And we know that game four is tonight at Madison Square Garden. President Trump will not be in attendance to that one unless he decides to go at the last second. But that was game three highlights there. So the Knicks and Spurs play tonight. And for those of you that are hockey fans out there, I am. Carolina Hurricanes and the Las Vegas Golden Knights are tied at two games a piece for the Stanley Cup finals. And yes, I am able to have life outside of politics. But it's on my mind a lot. I'm going to be real. It really is on my mind a lot because of the main focus of the Save America Act and also having freedom in our country to continue on past President Trump. I mean, we have what we have now, but what's going to happen in the midterms? What's going to happen in 2028, 2029? So, these are very real things that are on my mind, and I know they're on your mind as well. All right, so in case you missed it, conservative author and anti-communist activist Xi Van Fleet recently toured the National Archives in Washington DC. We also caught up with her after that with an interview. So what we're going to do is we're going to take a look at the video that she took in DC and we'll also air this interview. Now, we're not hearing that the president is about to be live right this second. But as soon as we see any live feed, we'll take you there for that 10 o'clock signing of the Secure America Act.
X
Xi Van Fleet1:17:42
Hi everyone. Guess where I am? I'm at the rotunda of the National Archives in Washington DC to see the original founding document of the United States of America. In here is the Declaration of Independence. It's not easy to read. It's thin and it's just not so clear. The signatures, 56 of them, I can hardly see any of them. But here it is, the original document of Declaration of Independence. Here I am. There's a little line but not too bad. And here there are four panels and that is our Constitution. And here we are. Bill of Rights. Same thing. It's very hard to read, but this is the original. This is the first 10 amendments. Okay, we may not remember everything, but we definitely should remember the first and the second amendment. So, when you come to Washington DC to visit, make sure you don't skip the National Archives, which is really close to all the Smithsonian Museums. Thank you so much.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:19:30
Thanks so much for joining us.
X
Xi Van Fleet1:19:31
Thank you for having me.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:19:33
Definitely. Let's talk about that. So, you were in DC recently. What was that like to be so close to our founding documents? Really, what it's all about when it comes to freedom for the United States of America.
X
Xi Van Fleet1:19:43
Yes. I have been spending the past few years exposing the Marxist ideology and telling Americans what it is like to live under communism and that communism is actually threatening our country. But at the same time I think in order to help Americans especially young people to love this country and to defend this country we have to understand that America itself is built on a set of ideologies and that's been expressed so beautifully in our founding documents. So I think this year is just absolutely perfect time to bring people's attention to our history, our founding. Without understanding it, we can't save America. We have to save America because we love it. And how do we love it? We have to really relearn what this country is about. That's why I made my trip to the National Archives, made that little video, and I think it's very, very important.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:20:41
It must be something though for you, fleeing communist rule in China to be here as a citizen of the United States to be with freedom and to be with those documents just in your presence alone there. What was it like to just be in that whole hall, that whole auditorium or that space there at the archives?
X
Xi Van Fleet1:21:01
I feel like it's sacred and it's absolutely these ideas. They're just words. But those are the words that created this country and without it there's no freedom. And people just say, you know, freedom, what is freedom? And when you lived under communism, when you were not allowed to think, not allowed to speak, not allowed to make your own decision, you know what freedom is. But where it came from, yes, it's come from those founding documents.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:21:36
Yeah, I mean it's something to, you know, hear about it, but for you to actually experience it and to hear this first account from you, makes it even sink even deeper into our minds of how important this really is. Your thoughts right now, of course, we are about what 25 days away from July 4th. How are you going to celebrate or are you going to kind of have more of a quiet time and reflection of our country?
X
Xi Van Fleet1:22:03
I'm going to DC for sure. And also I have been starting this year I've been going around the country visiting sites especially sites of the signers and I just came back from a trip to Williamsburg and to really experience firsthand in the places that history happened and I just came back from visiting Jefferson's Monticello, Montpelier of President Madison and President Monroe. And I tweet about it and I think that for this year it's focus on learning the history of this country and really learning to understand what this is about and fall in love with this country. That's how we save this country.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:22:54
Exactly. And so Williamsburg, Virginia, are you talking about the whole specific the colonial setup just takes you back in time? What was that like to be there? I have not been there. I've been to Jamestown, of course, the first spot that the English settlers stopped in 1607, but what's it like to be in Williamsburg?
X
Xi Van Fleet1:23:12
Yeah, I've been to the whole area. I started with Jamestown settlement and that's where America started with the settlers coming to America and then I ended with Yorktown and that's where America won the war of independence. So it's a big circle and within 20 miles from each other the two spots and I just think that just gave me chills that just there in Virginia you see the beginning, you see the ending of the colony and the starting of the republic. I really encourage people, especially parents, take your children out, visit. We have sites everywhere, especially along the east coast, the original 13 colonies. Visit them. History comes to life when you visit the site where it happened.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:24:05
And finally, and those that are joining us right now, this is Xi Van Fleet, a conservative author, anti-communist activist, was under Chinese rule, and is now a citizen of the United States of America. Xi, can you share with...
Don't care if it's well, I care, but if it's one person that you encourage right now, what would be your advice moving forward for freedom for the United States of America?
X
X Van Fleet1:24:29
One person to encourage? I encourage everyone, especially a lot of the conservatives too. We all need to relearn the history and so to be an anti-communist is also to understand and appreciate the founding ideology of this great country.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:24:48
Amen to that. And also, can you tell us about your new book?
X
X Van Fleet1:24:51
Oh yes, yeah. My new book came out this January and this book is different from the first. This book really tells a story how the United States enabled communist China. And I think it's a mistake for a lot of Americans to think of the CCP as an external political force and it's just over there. No, actually it's not. America or our political leaders, our elites played such an important role all the way through from the very beginning in the 1920s and all the way through and they played the roles and step by step enabled the rise of communist China and now become our greatest threat. So I want people to know the history to look within that our problem is here and our enemy are also here.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:25:55
And we got to get out and vote and hopefully pass the Save America Act. Amen.
X
X Van Fleet1:25:59
Yes. Yes. Absolutely. Absolutely.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:26:02
X Van Fleet, thank you again for stopping by here on Right Side Broadcasting Network. Have a great day and maybe I'll see you in DC around July 4th.
X
X Van Fleet1:26:10
Yes. Yes. Thank you.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:26:13
Take care. Yep. Always great to speak to people that have actually lived it and under communist rule but have escaped it, became a citizen here in this great country, the United States of America. Awaiting the president as we await and stand by as soon as we see that live feed, we'll take you there. Nine months ago today, a great American patriot and freedom fighter was taken from us. Here are a few videos from the late great Charlie Kirk.
C
Charlie Kirk1:26:46
Men, let's be honest. We got to raise our game in this culture. We are constantly around one. They say, 'Oh, just go place another bet on this running back to run a hundred yards. Just go to the cannabis dispensary and medicate yourself.' That's all a bunch of BS. Go look to your grandfather's generation that stormed Normandy Beach that built this nation, that started big businesses, that went on adventure. If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable. But if the most important thing is doing good, you will end up purposeful.
Purpose will give you happiness. You see, we live in a country where they think that happiness is pleasure. We know that purpose is above all of this, serving God, understanding why we are here, that we are made in his image, that there is a struggle of good versus evil. By the way, you're involved in that struggle every single day on the college campuses. Every day you get to fight for what is good and what is true and beautiful. So next time when you're on a college campus and if you want to be a man, this is what you do. If you want to stay a boy, go and do what your other friends do. But men say, you know what? No, I'm actually not going to go hook up with a bunch of girls. I'm going to save myself for marriage. Actually, I'm not going to go do that. But if you want to go be a boy, go do that. It takes no skill and no talent and no self-restraint whatsoever just to follow your flesh. An animal can do that. A dog can do that. Do you know what mature people do? Mature people say no to what feels good and they pursue what is good. And far too often on college campuses, we have these grown boys, and I'm talking to a lot of you in this audience, and it's time for you guys to up your game. It's time for you guys to stop doing just what feels good all the time. Oh, yeah. We're just going to go get, you know, blackout drunk till 2 a.m. and hook up with some stranger. No, no, no. If you want to stay in the lower standard, a miserable, miserable cycle of debt and suffering and depression, lack of community, go do that. Instead on a Saturday night, say, you know what, I'm going to hang out with some friends that are not going to drink, are not going to, you know, engage with this stuff. And then maybe on Sunday morning, I'm going to go to church or I'm going to go to mass and then I'm going to go work out and then I'm going to study. Who will be happier? You know I'm right.
Women. Number one, it is unspeakably unattractive to your fellow man when you have body counts that are 5, 6, 7, 8. Men do not want to date women that are sleeping around campus all the time. Period. They don't. And I see a lot of these women looking around right now. Oh, you were applauding when I was bashing men, but when all of a sudden I'm criticizing women, you can't do that. If you could clap for the truth on one side, be able to receive it. It is unattractive to men when you're going around and you're bragging about how many other men you're sleeping with. Number two, be a godly woman who is willing to submit to a husband under the covering of Almighty God. And if you have had your belief or your mindset so muddied, so polluted by modern culture and you call yourself a Christian, I'm going to challenge you on that because in a marriage, you're going to submit to your husband and you should submit to your husband. And by the way, the husband has an unbelievable responsibility to then submit to God and to make sure that marriage and that family is under a godly covering. Now, some women in this audience are like, 'Nope, not for me. I'm going to make my own income. I'm going to find a man and we're going to be egalitarian.' That's fine, but I'm going to just push back. That's not God's design for marriage. The man is the head of the household. That is as the Bible prescribes it. The Bible has prescribed it very and has worked for thousands of years. And let's just ask a question. Is it working? This idea of egalitarianism, divorce rates are nearly 50%. Depression is on the rise. Anxiety is on the rise. Cuz deep down, deep down, and I know this is true, deep down, the ladies, even in this room that play the girl boss thing on Instagram, deep down, you're begging for a man to lead you. I've deleted Instagram off my phone, but at times I get these profiles sent to me where it's always like you read the profile and it's like John 3:16, you know, with a cross, the young lady, and they're dressed like something out of Playboy. And I say to myself, do you think that's the way to win a man? Do you think just plastering your half-naked body all over in just so you know? Oh wow, men only look at me for my body and look at their social media. I wonder why because you put the entire body for the world to see out for everybody. Stop doing that. Stop it. And people will say, Charlie, you have no right to tell women. I'm not, you could do it if you want. I'm telling you it's preventing you from getting what you want. Because women say like, 'Well, if I plaster myself like it's the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition all over my social media, men are going to come to me.' Oh, men will come, but they will not stay.

Welcome back to Right Side Broadcasting Network. I'm Matthew Alvarez. Good morning to you. Thanks so much for live streaming in. What great words from the late great Charlie Kirk. If you're just joining us, we just aired a couple clips. Literally went to Charlie's X page. It's still there, of course, and just scrolled through and just wanted to just check out a couple clips and obviously we just aired them here. And thank God for Charlie and what he did for freedom and for the American people. And again, he won't be forgotten ever. And then on top of that, you know, he talked about, you know, getting married and having kids and I was talking about how that's what I did and all that. And I'm so glad I did. Holy smokes. This it's God's plan. It's the right way to do it. I feel so blessed having a great wife, great kids, but also outside of that, thanks be to God for that all to come together. If you pray as hard as you can and you work as hard as you can and you go in that double combination, you're going to get to an answer at least. Pray hard, work hard. Great combo. Anyway, I can go into my whole testimony if you want someday. Maybe we'll go there. Anyway, so again, good morning. Welcome to RSBN Live. I'm Matthew Alvarez. So, at 10:00 this morning, it was scheduled, of course, it's going to be happening any minute from now. The president signing the Secure America Act into law in the Oval Office. And then of course we'll hear from the president when it comes to some Q&A most likely right out of the gate about Iran and the situation that's kind of heated up over the past 24 to 48 hours. You'll hear more about that. I can guarantee that one. All right. So let's go with some of our sponsors in the meantime.

Well, if you're like me, sometimes you're on X or you're on Truth Social and you're just scrolling through and there's this nostalgia account or there's a bunch of them on X. It's always fun to look at back in the 80s, 90s and just photos of an old Blockbuster video, you know what I mean? It's really fun to do that. So, I don't know if you guys are all into that kind of throwback kind of thing. I know I have been over the past couple weeks. The reason why I bring that up to be honest, no reason at all. It's just something I thought about when I was talking about Birch Gold Group, saying 10 years ago. Well, how about 10, 15, 20, 25 years ago. Man, time is flying. It's June 10th, as you guys know. We're 4 days away from the UFC fight on the south lawn of the White House. So, a lot going on there coming up. It's flag day on the 14th. And if you follow me on Truth Social or on X, you know that I'm that person that, you know, sees an American flag and I will take a photo of it and just post it. So, it's going to be kind of cool to see flag day. And then those 250 U flags that you see out there with the 250 and the 13 colonies around it. That's an awesome looking flag. I believe that's the Freedom 250. You can get that through their website. So, we're looking forward to that. And then 10 days after the 14th, the 24th, President Trump of course speaking at the DC National Mall. So right there with the reflecting pool and all of the great American State Fair that's going to start on June 25th, go through July 10th. Of course, the National Guard and all of the security and that situation will be all in that region. But the point is to be able to celebrate our country, to celebrate our 250 year birthday and you know just thinking about the fact that moving on into November for the midterm elections and then 2028 the whole presidential cycle thing will happen again and you know you think about what saving America really looks like and saving America one part of that is to pass the Save America Act. So I'm going to keep talking about it until, I don't know, as they say the phrase is until you're blue in the face. Well, how about until I'm red in the face? Because we need the red wave to happen. We need it in the midterms. We need to have the person that is in the White House in 2029, January 20th, getting sworn in on the right side of history. And if we don't, you guys fill in the blanks on what that may look like in our country. So anyway, it's 10:24 Wednesday, June 10th. What we're going to do is rerack some of the videos we played at the top of our broadcast, which started at, I believe, was it 8:45 this morning, guys? 8:45 or 9:45? 8:45. Wow. All right, so let's go to clip number one. So RFK Jr. and Dr. Oz, they're addressing hospital pricing transparency. As some of you guys know, you might go to the hospital for something and then you come back and you see a bill that's tens of thousands of dollars. Let's check out clip number one as we await the president.
R
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.1:40:56
M
Mehmet Oz1:41:58
Immediately after returning, President Trump told us to fix that. So last year, Secretary Kennedy and I worked on regulations to get the real prices to you, the American people. We want to make it easy for you to compare hospital prices against other hospitals nearby so you can get the best care for you and your family. But you can't do that if hospitals aren't complying with our new requirements. Now, we told hospitals we would begin enforcing these rules on April 1st. Since then, our teams have been actively looking at thousands of hospitals to see if they are following the rules. Consider this a warning: for every hospital in America is still hiding prices from patients. We know who you are. Significant enforcement began two months ago. The grace period has ended. There are no further extensions. If your hospital is not yet in compliance, you are in violation of federal law. The CMS has identified and sent letters to more than 500 hospital facilities who are not yet following the rules. Many of the hospitals are owned by large, well-resourced health systems, billion-dollar networks with armies of lawyers and compliance teams and lobbyists and are still hiding their prices from the patients that they serve. That is unacceptable. If those hospitals do not come into compliance and transparently display their prices to patients, they will be fined to the fullest extent that the law allows. Federal fines accumulate every single day. Larger facilities can face penalties reaching $2 million for a single year of non-compliance.

Pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, hospitals. No administration in history has done more to hold health care conglomerates accountable than the Trump administration.

All right, looking live at the White House there. Of course, not blue skies today. A little bit gray, but maybe it'll clear out as the day goes on on this Wednesday, June 10th, middle of the week right now here live on right side. Thanks again for live streaming with us here on the network. If you're watching on replay, thanks so much for doing so. And something I haven't said in a while, but if you'd like to send this link wherever you're watching right now, just text maybe two friends or two family members or a total of four people and just let them know, hey, we're going to see the president here momentarily. And also we hope you join us for various live interviews that we have and we go to a number of videos that we see out there on the social media sphere if you want to call it that. So let's do that. In the meantime, let's go to a brand new video from the White House talking about the Secure America Act just posted moments ago.
N
Narrator1:45:01
If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support. The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.
You should be ashamed of yourself not standing.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:45:25
All right, just posted from the White House there. What a great shot that is right there. You see the American flag at the north lawn and you could see the UFC stage at the back lawn there as it widens out. The Washington Monument, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, Washington DC, man, it's going to be the place to be when it comes to the 250th birthday. And speaking of that, let's go to a message from the Secretary of State about Freedom 250 happening in less than a month. That's clip number two.
N
Narrator1:45:58
The story of America is a story of a miracle. A nation founded on the belief that our rights come from our creator and that our potential is limited only by our dreams. 250 years ago, we lit the fire of liberty and that continues to inspire the world.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:46:56
And of course, we've had Julia Friedland, the spokesperson for freedom250, join us from time to time as it gets closer. We're only 10 days away from President Trump's America is Back rally and then of course on the 25th kicks off the Great American State Fair. Of course what the Secretary of State is referring to there with Freedom 250. In the meantime, you know, we see cloudy skies there, but let's take a look at some photos. I believe this was from yesterday of the reflecting pool along the National Mall. Of course, it went from gray and gloomy to bright and American flag blue. This is one of the photos. There's another one there. So, everything looking a lot cleaner and sharper. This as the president invited the crew who worked on this whole thing to the Oval Office just yesterday. As we await the live feed, let's go to that video from less than 24 hours ago.
D
Donald Trump1:47:51
Now, Mr. President, if I have you saw the Oh, you had boomer. I'll do it. How is your football team? It's going to be very good. They have a good quarterback. Well, you need a quarterback. I really appreciate that. So, the two teams are good.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:48:16
All right. So, from the Oval Office yesterday, of course, we're standing by for President Trump to sign the Secure America Act. Let's get some details about the Secure America Act as we're on standby right now from Louisiana Congressman Steve Scalise.
S
Steve Scalise1:48:28
I rise in strong support of this bill. And Madam Speaker, we should all be here today to express our strong support for this important piece of legislation to properly fully fund the Department of Homeland Security, including yes, the people who actually are tasked with carrying out our immigration laws. That's the job of ICE and CBP. These are the laws that we all pass. I know our colleagues on the other side of the aisle would love to go back to open borders. But they're not fortunately going to go back to open borders because we won't let them. You would think some people on the other side of the aisle are acting like it's still September 10th, like we don't have threats on our homeland. But we have threats coming from more places than ever because the other side let millions of people into our country. Millions of people illegally come into our country, including many violent criminals. They want you to think, Madam Chair, that it's just everybody coming in to seek the American dream. Those are the people the law enforcement officers risk in their lives to keep our communities.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:51:11
So there you go from the House floor speaking about the Secure America Act. Again, this $70 billion going to ICE and Customs Border Patrol through the remainder of President Trump's term. Of course, that goes until January 19th of 2029. So obviously it's June 10th, 2026. So a lot of hopeful winning ahead of us when it comes to things like the Save America Act and other things, but the Secure America Act, the funding going towards ICE and Customs and Border Patrol. So there's a couple things we'll do while we're on standby here awaiting the live feed to the White House. One, we're working on getting you a Wayback Wednesday video when it comes to the border along our southern border there. If you remember, a lot of our coverage at the beginning of President Trump's term was all about that national emergency that was along the southern border. Because the military, of course, boots on the ground, literally there with National Guard, with local, state, county, government as well, helping and being with Customs Border Patrol. So, we know that that southern border is sealed. Now there's some boats only about 3% the president says only 3% still somehow getting to our shores but that's getting worked on by the day. So once we get that video we'll play that. Also Artemis 3 of course the team announced for the 2027 takeoff with NASA speaking with actually just a minute ago about the NASA spokesperson Bethany Stevens. So we'll have her on the broadcast ideally coming up this Friday to talk more about Artemis. So let's do this. Let's first go with the border video. This is a Wayback Wednesday video. It's about a minute 25 seconds long as we await the president and then we'll look at the Artemis 3 announcement as well.
N
Narrator1:53:14
What we've been doing, we started operations here. We've been clearing out some of that debris and the cane that's growing over the ledge there on the bank. This makes it easier for Border Patrol to operate. First, we came down with the dozer, kind of widened up this road area. Then we came over with the grader to kind of level things off. That allowed us to get our excavator down there to where it's on a level playing field and be able to scrape away that debris. Presence. I honestly have noticed is just a natural deterrent. Just being out here is kind of like a show of force, being a presence and it works. We're trained to do various things. You know, it's not only just combat. And then utilizing our group of engineers that's out here like them to just appreciate to say like, hey, our guys can do that, too. Texas Guard is just the labor entity. It's just the force. It's the presence. As much as I'm a soldier first, you know, I'm a person, too, right? And that matters.
M
Matthew Alvarez1:54:34
The White House just posting quote, 'Border security and keeping Americans safe shouldn't be controversial.' That was a post on X about 11 minutes ago. I believe they're posting on Truth Social as well. A shout out to our production staff here at Right Side Broadcasting Network because this is literally on the fly as we stand by for the president, the various videos that get quickly uploaded and we just keep on keeping on. So, when we talk about donating to the network, I mean, this is pretty much a free service for you guys to watch. We're glad you're with us. But if you'd like to donate, just go to rsbnetwork.com/donate as we grow and expand here at the network, but also, you know, covering conservative news out there from a conservative perspective, of course. And then on top of that, we have some great sponsors as well, as you guys know. So, please purchase or sign up for the various sponsors that we have here at the network. In the meantime, speaking of the great production staff here at Rightside, let's go to that NASA video, Artemis 3. Those four astronauts recently announced. Of course, this next mission, we'll get some more details from NASA, specifically ideally from the spokesperson Bethany Stevens, who's been on the broadcast before. Maybe we'll have that on Friday. We're just working on those details right now. But in the meantime, as we're awaiting the president signing the Secure America Act, let's go to that NASA announcement.

Matthew Alvarez1:57:25
All right. So, there you go. The announcement there. And what we're going to do here as we're on standby, I'd like to also ask the people watching that are on our chat rooms that are chatting live right now. Hello to all of you. Hello to our moderators with RSBN as well. Thanks so much for doing what you do and what you've done for a decade now. The question I have for you just for kicks is if there is passenger space travel, would you go up to space if there was passenger space travel? Of course it would cost what a quarter million dollars or something. But if you were able to do it for free or maybe you won a contest or maybe in 15 years from now it's something that people are doing. Would you do it? My answer would be, you know, I was going to say heck no, but maybe. I'll just say I'll keep it at a maybe. So, let's go to the chat right now live here on Right Side Broadcasting Network as we wait for it to cycle through. Of course, it's a little bit delayed. When I say something now, it happens maybe 5 to 10 to 30 seconds later that you actually see it. But anyway, let's go to some of that here in just a second. As we're awaiting President Trump for the Secure America Act. I'm gonna have to bring this all up on my phone here live on right side as we get ready to check out some of the comments. So, okay, I can actually read it here from the screen. I see someone saying yes. So, that's somebody that would say they'll do some space travel. Would you guys? This person says no. One person says F no. Someone laughing out loud. We do love Elon Musk. Let's see what else here. Just checking out all of the responses here. No way, Jose. Somebody says, 'So, they would not go up to space, even if it was passenger space travel.' Let's see what else we have here. So, anyway, interesting to check in with you guys on that. Also, always fun to do as we're on standby right now. I always like to see it. Where are you guys watching from? Where's everybody watching from right now? As we're standing by live here as we get ready for President Trump to sign the Secure America Act. Again, this is $70 billion going to ICE, going to Customs Border Protection through the remainder of President Trump's term, of course, that will be through 2029. Of course, President Trump's last day would be January 19th of 2029 in office. And it's strange to think about because the name Donald Trump has been in politics strong since 2015 for it to be all the way through to 2029. Wow. All right, let's see what else people are saying. Some people are saying yes there for space travel. And also as we await the answer to the other question of where's everybody watching from? A lot of times we're seeing people from all across the union. So great to have you here with us as we get ready to gear up for some July 4th coverage, some other coverage out there that's happening over the course of this month and next month. So glad you're with us here on Right Side. Of course, over the years, you've seen a lot of you out there on camera, because we'd walk right up to you with a microphone and say hello and how you doing and your thoughts about the president, your thoughts about the country, the thoughts about the goals that we're looking for into the future, things like, you know, transparency, accountability, passing the Save America Act, all the things. Because I don't want our country just like you don't want our country to go by the wayside and go way radical left whether it's within the midterms coming up whether it's the presidency in 2028, 2029. As we're looking live right now it looks like someone's watching from Vegas, someone's watching from Germany. Hello to you out there in Europe. Let's see what else here what we have. I'll ask one more time and we'll double check where's everybody watching from. Okay so we have Iowa. Hello to the Hawkeye State. The Hawkeye State. Of course, your primary was June 2nd. A lot going on there in that great state, especially for the great American farmers. What a spot to be a farmer in Iowa. Having been there myself a few times covering the president's various campaign events there. Quite awesome to see the John Deere, you know, factories and that kind of thing. Louisiana is watching. Canada, Texas. Let's see what else here. We have Costa Rica. We have Canada again, Scotland, Washington, I believe, Washington State. We're looking at Colorado Springs. I'm a little bit jealous. The reason why is I love the state of Colorado. Not politically, but thankfully Tina Peters has been set free. But the beauty in Colorado is just off the charts. All the spots there. East Texas. Hello to Jackson, Georgia. Hello again to Scotland. Oregon, everybody watching right now from all across the country and around the world. East Central Arizona, Minnesota watching, Texas as well. So, shout out to all of you watching on Rumble, on YouTube, on X, on our app, on our website, and if my mom's watching right now, hi mom. And anybody else that's family or friends that are watching as we are waiting for President Trump now 10:47 interesting time of course the 47th president about to sign this Secure America Act. This was originally scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Eastern time. If you're just joining us now we've been on the air since 8:45 this morning. Of course, we replayed a number of our interviews that we've had since yesterday within that 24/7 news cycle. Director, do we have time to play the Abigail Jackson interview as we are on standby? Okay, let's go to that then. We're going to go to the White House deputy press secretary Abigail Jackson as she spoke about the Secure America Act. Now, mind you, this interview happened just about a few hours prior to when the Secure America Act was actually passed. So, again, the Secure America Act is passed. President Trump will be signing that into law any minute from now as soon as we see it. But let's go to that interview as we caught up on a number of topics from the White House's perspective. For more on the legislation, let's return to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Joining us now is White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson. Thanks so much for joining us again, Abigail.
A
Abigail Jackson2:03:56
Yeah, great to be with you.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:03:58
Definitely great to have you here. Can you tell us what the Secure America Act consists of?
A
Abigail Jackson2:04:05
You know, the president as always is putting forth legislation that is in the best interest of the American people and keeping the American people safe and like anything, that's what he's doing here.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:04:19
That's awesome. So, we're looking at some money for ICE and DHS and that kind of thing. So, always good to see that. I mean, we know that when President Trump became the 47th president, first thing he did was along the border there, obviously brought the national guard or at least the military there. So, could you talk to us just about the importance of passing this Secure America Act?
A
Abigail Jackson2:04:41
M
Matthew Alvarez2:05:22
It's so wild. We really see the Democrats playing their hand here. If you want to talk about a card game, they're against the Save America Act. They're against the Secure America Act. What are they for, Abigail?
A
Abigail Jackson2:05:35
They're for anything that obstructs this president and his agenda, really, that's all it comes down to. And you can see that in literally everything they do. They have no agenda that they're putting forth themselves. Their entire agenda is obstruct, obstruct, obstruct. And I think it's important to take a step back and look at what it is that they're really obstructing. Like you said, the Save America Act, for example, free, secure elections. So, while the Democrats obstruct and
They do a bad job at doing so because we're winning no matter what. The president remains focused on what they're trying to get in the way of and even more than they can even think of.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:06:36
This is a time to celebrate in our country when it comes to June and then of course July 4th. Obviously, we're less than a month from Freedom 250. Your thoughts on all the celebrations happening in DC and across the nation from now until then?
A
Abigail Jackson2:06:51
I think it is absolutely incredible and what a special time in our nation's history. We are celebrating our 250th birthday of the greatest country in the history of the world. And it's just fabulous that we have a president who really recognizes how special this is for our country and who is giving our nation's capital and these celebrations the attention they deserve. It's awesome that we are cleaning up Washington DC and making our monuments and memorials beautiful and gleaming ahead of the 250th birthday for visitors and residents. And I think there will be lots of fun surprises coming up and different things the president is looking forward to doing to celebrating our country.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:07:33
Exactly. And then June 24th, that America is Back rally. Pretty awesome stuff, especially for us here at Right Side covering the president since 2015. So, it must be exciting times to be working at the White House. To be honest,
A
Abigail Jackson2:07:44
It is absolutely an incredibly exciting time to be working at the White House and more importantly for this president. I can't even imagine what it would be like under past administrations when they didn't have a leader like President Trump who was giving these celebrations the grandeur that they deserve.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:08:01
And finally, so June 14th of course this coming Sunday, less than a week away from the UFC match outside the White House. Now, the question is, you know, I saw online people saying, 'Oh, why is there a fight and a lot of people are saying they're happy about it?' Then they showed the picture when it was Biden on the South Lawn with the, you know, the drag shows and all the things. It's like, guys, come on. Really? You know, it's America here when it comes to things like, you know, boxing or UFC, right?
A
Abigail Jackson2:08:30
Yes.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:08:59
100%. Again, Abigail Jackson, the White House deputy press secretary, talking about the Secure America Act. I'm sure we'll be talking more about that throughout the week. I mean, this is really from the White House, the executive branch. Is it kind of putting pressure now on the legislative branch to get this thing passed?
A
Abigail Jackson2:09:17
Right. Well, we absolutely want to see it passed. Yes. And look forward to talking to you more about it.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:09:22
All right, Abigail Jackson, thank you again for joining us here on Right Side.
All right, so as many know, the House yesterday passed the Secure America Act. Of course, this was legislation that originated in the Senate. It passed the Senate. Now it passed the House. Now it's on to President Trump's desk. I wish I can say the same thing for the Save America Act. It would be great if somehow the filibuster was nuked and we got on to business here. And I'm not just one person saying that. A lot of people have said, you know, going around the filibuster is what's needed for the Save America Act, including Senator Tommy Tuberville of Alabama and also the president himself saying this. But in the meantime, we're going to get to some video in just a second. Another way back Wednesday video as we're on a little bit of a delay as you might imagine right now. This was scheduled for 10 this morning. But here at Right Side Broadcasting Network, one skill that you definitely learn is you got to be able to stretch, stretch, stretch, stretch, and that's what we do here at the network, too, when needed, when called upon. So anyway, all right. So, we're going to go to that video along the border because obviously this Secure America Act is all about ICE and Customs Border Protection. I believe this video doesn't have any music underneath it. It's kind of a perspective, a vantage point of what it's like when the military was down there and it is still down there and the National Guard putting up a number of things along the wall. We'll go to that in just a second because we have a video of a time lapse of the reflecting pool. So, let's play that from the Earth Cam.
Can flag blue color that is underneath the water there. Of course, it'll be great to see something like that in person as we have a couple photos that were recently taken of the reflecting pool. So, also on top of that, you see the Lincoln Memorial there out there in the background. Did you know that there is this thing called the undercroft where the National Park Service has opened up an entire museum underneath the Lincoln Memorial? That's pretty cool. So, there are tickets and they're already out there now. I think you have to get tickets the day of, but you're able to check out underneath the Lincoln Memorial. That would be pretty cool just to be underneath where the statue is and all that stuff. So that's something that's happening out there along with all the other museums and things to do there in Washington DC. And just south of Washington DC, of course in Williamsburg, Virginia. If you joined us yesterday, Xi Van Fleet, the anti-communist activist. She was under communist rule in China, escaped that, is now a free United States American citizen. Well, she just went to DC and was talking about all the National Archives and seeing the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and all of that. Then she said she also went to Williamsburg, Virginia. The whole colonial setup there. I have not been to Williamsburg yet. I definitely want to go. Also, and then just near that area, of course, is Jamestown, Virginia. Jamestown, Virginia, the first spot for English settlers to arrive in the United States of America. 1607. I've seen different dates on the year, but pretty awesome to be at the spot where it all started in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Speaking of Virginia, politics not so hot these days with the governor there. But hopefully things will just turn. I mean, you could hope all you want, but you got to pray, you hope, you work hard, and you fight for your freedom legally, lawfully, and spiritually to get the job done. And what else can you do, guys? Right? And it's great to be on the right side of history into this information war. Of course, over the years, we got used to seeing a number of these news anchors out there that, you know, might look the part or whatever. That's cool. You can whatever. But what are you talking about? What's your content? What's your context? What is the story about? Or what's the story that you didn't cover? What's that about? We've talked about pretty much every story you can think of when it comes to, you know, the 24/7 news cycle over the past year and a half. So, my point to it as well is we like to just connect with you guys. That's what this is about is just being able to have a voice for you, the American people, but also great to see that we have conservative media as a whole growing and being a solution to the mainstream media narrative which is play TV, sound like you have authority, but then lie to you and gaslight you and all the things. We're not into that in conservative media. So, this is something that's not going away. Conservative media is here to stay until the return of Jesus of Nazareth, in my opinion. So this is something whether it's on X or on Truth Social, whether it's on Rumble or YouTube or the website, the app, wherever you're watching, Right Side Broadcasting Network, whatever, wherever you watch conservative media, this is something that is in this country and it is now being built in a way that we have not seen before. If this was something that was strong 10 years ago when Right Side Broadcasting Network started, remember Right Side Broadcasting Network started on Facebook back in the day. Facebook showing President Trump rallies, showing the crowds, you know, and so 10 years ago it was mainstream networks had a real stronghold on what's going on, the information that's getting out to the people, right? The leftist politicians, they'll go and some of the RINOs, they'll go directly to the fake news and let the people know what's going on. Like we're some peasants in this country. Last time I checked, this is a government of, by, and for the people. Speaking of that, director, let's go to clip number nine. I believe this is a way back Wednesday where President Trump was speaking. I'm sure it was maybe 2016. It was at a rally we were at. And it just shows the crowd something that the mainstream media they were like, 'No, we don't want to show this excitement.' They were trying to hold back the dam. Well, the Hoover Dam when you let the water go, you ain't stopping it. They tried to stop it. Didn't work. But the reason why I say the government, the people having the government in a sense of by and for, that's exactly what President Trump is saying in the background. If you listen closely to this clip, let's just go to that throwback Thursday again. You're not going to see the president here. This is just a pan of the crowd. But listen in to what Donald Trump is saying. Let's play the clip.
D
Donald Trump2:17:15
Once more, we will have a government of, by, and for the people. What we have to do, once more, we will have a government of, by, and for the people. All we have to do is
M
Matthew Alvarez2:17:47
There you go. Of, by, and for the people. Back in the 1800s, the mid 1800s, of course, when Abraham Lincoln spoke the Gettysburg address and ended that Gettysburg address, a government of, by, and for the people shall not perish from the land. This is the same United States of America that it was back in 1863 with Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, in the sense of the Constitution of the United States, the Declaration of Independence. So, this is what we hold on to near and dear as American patriots that we are. We don't get pushed around. We have a spine. We're not sheeple that just follow. We are more like a lion. Right. Anyway, I'm getting fired up. 250 years of our great country that we're celebrating here shortly. Let's go to a couple sponsors as we're awaiting President Trump in the meantime. Let's go to our first sponsor here on Right Side. All Family Pharmacy. Summer travel season of course is upon us. You might have planned the flights or the road trip, booked the hotel, packed the bags, but did you think about your medications if you take any? Most people don't until they're three states away and realize they left something important at home or someone gets sick and there's no doctor in sight. I feel like we're trying to, you know, fly an airplane or fly on a plane in a terminal and we've got an hour and a half or hour and five minute delay, but eventually you get there hopefully. But as we're seeing the camera there just moving around across DC right now. Director, we may go to let's see here. Do we have that video for the border security from a while ago? Okay. Doesn't look like we have that video, but one video we do have for those of you joining us right now. And I know some of you may have seen this interview, but I think we'll be able to go to the interview. And if we do see the president, of course, we'll take that sharp right turn and go to the White House as we're seeing the zoom in there. Senator Tommy Tuberville joined us and it's a great interview because of what he is saying and what he's acting on for the American people and for the state of Alabama. Let's look at that one again. Joining us now is Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville. Senator Tuberville, thank you so much for stopping by here on Right Side Broadcasting Network.
T
Tommy Tuberville2:21:59
Thank you. Glad to be here.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:22:01
Glad you're with us. You know, we just heard from Governor Jeff Landry and I know that you're running for governor in Alabama. Can you give us an update on your campaign? I know you're touring from state to state. How's it going out there?
T
Tommy Tuberville2:22:14
Well, it's going well. We just had the primary a couple weeks ago and I think there was three of us in the primary and we got almost 86% of the vote, which is pretty good. And now we're preparing for the general election in November and we'll run against a former senator, a Democrat senator from the state of Alabama and we'll hit the ground running here probably about the end of July. We'll work very very hard at becoming governor and we've already started the process of planning when we do take that position. So, we won't hit the ground in January next year and not know what we're doing. We've done a lot of planning, a lot of talking to other governors across the country, and a lot of senators up there have been governors before. So, I've learned a lot from them.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:23:05
Exactly. And then, so when we're looking at Alabama, of course, Huntsville, Birmingham, the Gulf Shores, places like Auburn, of course, where you were the Auburn football coach, that kind of thing. What do you want to see with the cities and the towns and some of the rural areas in Alabama?
T
Tommy Tuberville2:23:20
Yeah. Well, we are a rural state. 60% of the state is rural, but we've got a lot of industry that's moving in. President Trump's been very kind to us. We just got Space Command that is moving to Huntsville. Huntsville is a place. If a lot of people hadn't been there, you need to take your kids there. It's where NASA is. We have a space camp. We have a lot of things that you can see that have been on a lot of the moon missions and early moon shots, Saturn, all those things that go with it. And then of course we have the Gulf which is we redid our port in the last couple of years. We have a deep water port now that is very accessible and it's going to be a big part of our economy. Last week we cut the ribbon on a new Coast Guard Academy which is in Birmingham. And so we're really growing. We have a lot of good things going on.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:24:54
T
Tommy Tuberville2:25:23
Yeah, it's ridiculous. You know what it is? It's a 30-day voting period where they have an opportunity to come up with a vote somewhere whether it's mail-in ballots or whatever ballot harvesting to make sure they get the right person elected. Here's the thing that I'm very disappointed in. We've got what we call the Save America Act here and we voted on it the other night and we had Republican senators vote against this.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:27:19
It's 2026, not 1996. But I don't mean that for everything in life. I just mean that specifically to your point. It's called the Save America Act for a reason. We know that if they are in charge, they will nuke the filibuster any day of the week, pack the court and all that. Let's talk about another issue that you've been outspoken about. Before I get into that issue, I am wondering, say you're governor of Alabama, will you take a I know you'll be taking care of Alabama, but will you still want that national outspoken voice in politics or what would be your kind of your game plan?
T
Tommy Tuberville2:27:54
M
Matthew Alvarez2:28:37
Man, if that's not a pitch to come to Alabama, I don't know what is. Let's talk about Sharia law. I know it's not welcome in Alabama and under your watch, it won't be happening here, but do you have concern of it spreading in other parts of the country?
T
Tommy Tuberville2:28:53
A Muslim group comes into this country.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:30:48
What are your thoughts leading up to our 250th and about 25 days from now?
T
Tommy Tuberville2:31:28
Well, it's a great time for our country now. Many countries have made it 250 years with the constitutional republic that we have, a constitution that's stood up to time. It stood up to people want to tear it down like the ones that we have here now. Our country's changed a lot in the last 10 or 15 years starting with the Obama infiltration of what he wanted to do, bring socialism and communism into this country. But at the end of the day we're going to celebrate. Hopefully, we have safe celebrations. I can see down the mall from my office and see the things that they're building. Getting ready for a huge celebration.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:32:52
I agree with you 100%. I believe a lot of people do as well that are watching. And then on top of that, the National Guard and all of the law and order in DC right now. Isn't that a great thing to see there, sir? When you walk by a National Guardsman, you're probably like, you know, a lot of cities should do this, shouldn't they?
T
Tommy Tuberville2:33:08
Yeah, they should. I'll probably do the same thing when we go back to Alabama. We've got some cities that are having problems in the streets and neighborhoods. I tell people this. You can have a great family and a great education, a great job and money in the bank, but if you don't have safe streets and neighborhoods, you can't enjoy it because it's like we're living in a prison. And you know, I'm going back to Alabama to change that to make sure everybody has a fair opportunity in life. That's what this country gives you, an opportunity to do what you want, but you have to go within our laws. And we have groups of people right now across the country that are absolutely going against the laws that were created by our forefathers. And we see National Guard people up here all the time. We actually have people from Alabama up here right now.
M
Matthew Alvarez2:33:55
All right, we have to cut into the end of that interview. It was only about 20 more seconds long. If you want to watch that in its entirety, of course, you can watch that on replay. We actually played that interview about a couple hours ago. Didn't expect the extra hour, but here we are live right now as we see that the president of the United States will be signing the Secure America Act into law literally any minute from now. So, we're going to go to that as soon as we see the live feed here on Right Side Broadcasting Network. And of course, President Trump just posted something on Truth Social as well. So, I'm going to start reading some of his post, but as soon as we see the feed, of course, we'll take you there. He said, quote, just like they did on border funding. Let's go to the president.
D
Donald Trump2:34:36
Thank you. Anytime you're ready. Are you ready? They're ready. It's an honor to have these very distinguished people alongside of me. Not behind me, alongside of me. I would never say behind me because they're not behind anybody. They're great. This morning, I'm thrilled to sign the Secure America Act to immediately and fully fund the Department of Homeland Security through the end of my term. So, we won't have that to be talking about anymore. Lisa, no, we will not, sir. We'll give the heroes of ICE and Border Patrol, and that's what they are. They're heroes. What they have to go through to keep us safe, the support and resources they need to defend our borders, protect our homeland, and to keep America safe. I want to thank Speaker Mike Johnson. He's incredible. Where is Mike? Right here. Mike, you're doing an incredible job. Not a big majority. Rather have 40 or 50. I don't think you'd know what to do. We have He's saying, 'What are we doing?' That'd be no fun. He's done an amazing job. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and Todd is up and I hear he's got tremendous support in the Senate and he's got tremendous support everywhere actually. He's doing a fantastic job. And Secretary of Homeland Security Mark Wayne. Where's Mark Wayne? He gave up his Senate seat. He had a guaranteed seat for the next 40 to 50 years and he gave it up to be Homeland Security because he just wanted to serve. Yep. Amazing. As well as Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso, who's here, I think. Yes, sir. Mr. President, and John is you're incredible. From day one, we got along. Thank you, Mr. President. Absolutely. First day I met him. House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, one of the bravest people. Yeah. And what he went through is incredible. Incredible. And he's I actually think it looks better now than he did. We're going to win the game tonight, Mr. President. Oh, is it tonight with the baseball? We watch and House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, who is an unbelievable leader, actually, just so highly respected and he's in Minnesota and he's ripping them because he knows what's going on. I mean, it's you have your chance now, Tom, because people have really found out about it. I want to thank you for the work. No, but he's working with our people. They look like Elliot Ness. It looks like Elliot Ness and the gang up there, right? They're finding billions of dollars of fraud and Tom Emmer is really helping us. Thanks, Tom. Thank you. And thanks as well to Senators Lindsey Graham, who had a big victory last night. He won by a lot and no runoff, no nothing. And had a lot of very capable people running against him and he just blew him away. So Lindsey Graham, congratulations. And Chuck Grassley, Rand Paul, who's here. Hi Rand. Boy, oh boy. It's nice to have Rand. It's a good thing to have Randy. He knows what's important. Eric Schmitt has been an incredible senator. Wherever you may be, Eric, he's tall enough. He's usually not too hard to find. And Bernie Moreno. Is Bernie here? Where's Bernie? Hi, Bernie. What a job, right? Absolutely. So, how's the race going in Ohio? You're very popular there and you'll drag every Republican across. I hope so. Well, I love Ohio. We won by a lot, but you ran an incredible race. It was and a big assist. They weren't giving him a big chance and he ended up winning quite easily, right? So, it was great. We're also pleased to be joined by Representatives Lisa McClain, Jody Arrington, and Jody, where's Jody? Mr. President, you're doing a great job. Your favorite budget chairman. Thank you. Garret Graves, Laurel Lee, thank you. Riley Moore, a newcomer who's doing really well. Guy Reschenthaler, Derek Van Orden, as well as Andrew Clyde, Chris Smith. You know that? Yeah. Fantastic. And we appreciate it, Chris. We appreciate it. Thank you. For more than Thank you very much. Appreciate it being here. Gone through a lot. For more than 100 days, congressional Democrats tried to block all funding for the Department of Homeland Security in a reprehensible attempt to throw open the borders of the United States of America. They want to drag us straight back to chaos and crime of the crooked Joe Biden administration. One of the most corrupt administrations, probably the most corrupt ever. Nobody's ever seen anything like it and we're not going to let them do that. I have to say that Washington just had some crime numbers out and it's the lowest number, best crime numbers we've had they say in 58 years. So we went from being a crime-ridden city, our capital, being a crime-ridden place to being among the safest cities in the country. I'm so happy and you're big beneficiaries because most of you live here. You hear all the time, the press, the media, and even actually some of the media, a couple of people that I would not suspect, a couple of people truly treat me unfairly, but they came up and they thanked me because it's so much we have a safe city now. We also have a beautiful city. We had 22 fountains. Every one of them didn't work. One of them, the probably the best was one that hasn't worked for 50 years. That was about the best. They've all been out of commission for 50 years or more. Can you imagine that? They were graffiti strewn, grass strewn, grass growing through the cracks, and they were in terrible shape. And all 22 have now been opened. And the most magnificent possibly of all, though, the one in front of Union Station is beautiful. Do you see that? It was all graffiti all over the place. We through a lot of work, we got it looking maybe better than it was the day they put it in. But the one that they're all talking about is the almost 2,500 foot long. It's taller than any building in the world. Actually, there's no building that's 2,500 ft tall, I don't think. But it's like twice the height of the Empire State Building, as an example, or much wider. So, we just got that open last night. We went to do it before July 4th, and it is incredible. It's called, it was originally called 1922 was built. It was called the reflecting pond or the reflecting lake some people called it, but it was supposed to be reflection. It never worked from 1922 because it was stone on the base and no matter what it always leaked because you have stone and you have lots of crevices and we have nice stone out there. But if you go between the stone it leaks and so it never really worked very well and it was a bad color. It was gray. It's concrete and stone so it was gray. And I had the idea along with some great people that worked for us. Doug Burgum is fantastic. His group, Greg, everybody. And we worked very hard, but it was going to cost $400 million. And we did it for about 10 million. It was going to take four years to build. And we did it in like a month, month and a half. And we would have had a construction site out there for years. And it wouldn't have worked when they built it. So when they told me what they were going to do, I said, 'That's not a good idea.' I built many, many, many swimming pools as a builder, built hundreds of them, and I got one of our contractors. I had him take a look and he said, 'Oh, we can do a great job if you could just give us a decent surface.' The surface was inside. So we sandblasted the surface. We fumigated it. We took out 11 dumpsters, big dumpsters full of garbage. It was all garbage thrown. Some of the garbage was there for years. It was all disgusting and it smelled and anyway we took 11 dumpsters of garbage out with shovels. We had a shovel inside of what's called a pool or a lake and got it cleaned. We then fumigated it. We then sandblasted the entire thing, washed it, cleaned it, scrubbed it, sandblasted it. Then we gave it a test. Then we rinsed it out and we gave him a beautiful surface. And then they put a swimming pool topping, but industrial strength. It's industrial strength. It's used for tanks and lots of other things to hold water. And we worked out the ratios of expansion and contraction because, you know, believe it or not, when you have something that's 2,500 ft long, there's tremendous expansion. And who would think of this? Only person that does it like me. And they have a lot of expansion and contraction. So when we're putting the surface down we'd leave areas that can expand and contract a little bit because it expands over a foot and a half. Can you believe it? So I would have ripped it apart. So we left areas of expansion and contraction. This we were testing it for 3 weeks, four weeks. Works, it works great. And we just opened it last night and people are going wild over it. So it was going to cost 400 million and we did it for 10, probably 10 if you take away a couple of things. We did a much bigger job than originally planned because once we put that in, it looks so good, the sidewalks outside didn't look good anymore. You know, they look like they were in good shape, but when you do something new in this business, you do something new, the thing that you thought were good, you'd save it. So, we ended up sandblasting, steam cleaning, and sandblasting the sidewalks around it. And we had a lot of areas that were in bad shape. We had to fix them. We patched them, and you can't even see the patch. We have granite surrounding the pool and the granite's great, but it was filthy, dirty, disgusting, and it was broken in some cases. We were able to carve out pieces from other pieces that were identical and put them in. And you can't even see the seam. And it's in better shape than it was when it was built. I told you from 1922 never worked because it always leaked because it had a stone base. The water leaked through the stone. So, we're very proud of it. It's going to be great. Now, we're doing a new surface on the World War II fountain because the surface is so bad and that'll be done during the next couple of We're going to start it in a week or so. Finish it very quickly. But we've done a great job and the city is everyone's coming up to me and said the city is so beautiful. So, we have 22 fountains that none of them worked. The earliest I'm telling you it's 50 years for 50 years. Some of them haven't worked for 100 years, but we have fountains that were not working and were disgusting and dirty and they're all beautiful now. Every one of them. We also took care of a lot of the monuments, not fountains, but monuments. And they're all in good shape. Some of them are being finished up now. And it's incredible. And my goal was to get it all done along with Interior and others that worked with us to get it done before the July 4th date. July 4th was a very important date.
That was the date we looked at and we did a hell of a job. But everybody's looking at that reflecting pool. They can't believe it reflects. We used a dark blue. It's called American flag blue. I wanted to go light but they said, 'Sir, light doesn't reflect and light shows leaves and garbage.' One man says, 'Sir, when you leave it'll be screwed with garbage again. You don't want that.' See, when I'm here it'll be perfect but when I leave, I said, 'You're probably right depending on who's president or who's running it.' But it's really beautiful. It's something for you to see. It's incredible. It's the longest pool in the world by three or four times. It's really pretty amazing. That's where Martin Luther King made his great speech and they say he had a million people. And I made a speech there for July 4th a few years ago and I was packed and they said I had 25,000 people. They said he had a million but when you look at the picture, I said, 'Well wait, the people are even tighter at mine. I had more people than him.' But they said I had 25,000 and he had a million. But I'm not going to argue with Martin Luther King.
The Secure America Act provides $38 billion to ICE, $26 billion to border patrol to ensure these critical law enforcement agencies have the necessary resources to do their jobs, protecting our borders, and getting criminal aliens out of the country. And starting on day one of my administration, we took the most dangerous, unsafe, violent, and open border people out of this country. We got them out. I'll give you an example. In Washington, over five, I don't even know if you know this. It's not just policing. You have criminals. You have career criminals. There's nothing you can do to make them nice. Tough people. They're bad people. Some of them had records 22, 23, one at 28 arrests and rough arrests for murder. And we took out almost 5,000 people out of Washington DC. And if you remember, 2% of the people create 91% of the crime. When you hear that number, it's great. I love that number because you could handle 2%. That's right. If it's 91 create 91, that's no good. Too many people. But 2% of the people and we took almost 5,000 people out of Washington DC. They'll never come back.
In addition, the National Guard and we worked with the police department. Law enforcement was great. And we have a very safe city. Everyone's going out to eat now. Restaurants were all closed. They were all closing. The few that were open were closing. And now you can't get a restaurant in Washington. Everyone wants to have a restaurant and it's a whole different... so it's something we're very proud of. New Orleans the same thing by the way, it's a little earlier in the process but I got a call from your governor, I got a call from Steve. They called me together actually and they said, 'We've never had a Mardi Gras like that.' They had the lowest crime they've ever had in the history of the Mardi Gras which has been going on for a long time but they usually have numerous murders and they had none. But beyond murders, I heard it was the best you've ever had.
Really was a great Super Bowl, too. And Memphis, that's going to be great for the Super Bowl because we'll keep it that way. I think you're bidding on the Super Bowl coming in 2031. Yeah. And now you can really say it was a safe city. And the other one is Memphis. We, crime is down 77%. Can you believe it? People are calling me, friends that were leaving Memphis. We're all leaving and now they're staying and the governor, everyone's thrilled. It's amazing. And if they would call me for Chicago, we'd straighten out Chicago so fast. We'd straighten out New York fast. We'd straighten out Los Angeles fast. We do it really well. And part of it is you have to get the really bad ones. You have to get the career criminals out because they'll hit you hard. And they ought to get rid of, by the way, cashless bail. You ought to do that as soon as possible. Where they walk in, they commit a crime, they go out, in the afternoon they commit another crime and sometimes those crimes are murder. Right back on the street. That's right. Cashless bail was a tremendous help to criminals. It's one of the greatest things that ever happened to a criminal. And they ought to end it in every city. They ought to end it. Chicago, New York, LA, they ought to end it.
Starting on day one of my administration, we took the most dangerous, unsafe, violent open border in the world. We had the most unsafe border I believe anywhere in the world. And the numbers came out two days ago that for 11 months, not one person came into our country illegally through the southern border. We had 25 million people come in over a 4-year period. We have it good and nobody tries to come in. All the caravans, I came up with the name caravan. You'd have 25, 30,000 people coming up and they pour through the border. You've seen the scenes where they were knocking over the fences. Very, very bad, very dangerous situation. We don't have them anymore because they know they can't get through. So when they know they can't get through, they don't come. And a lot of lives, women were being raped on the journey up. They were being raped in numbers 25, 30% were being raped coming up. You don't have that anymore because they don't come up in caravans anymore because they know they're not going to get through. So starting on day one, we took the most dangerous and unsafe, violent open border in the world and we created the most secure border anywhere in our country, probably one of the most in the world. I believe it was the most insecure and unsecure border anywhere in the world.
Because there's no country, even a third world country, that has a situation like that where you'd have criminals just walk across totally unchecked. They had the Biden, it wasn't Biden, he didn't know what the hell was going on. It was people that are radical left lunatics who were very smart, very violent, very vicious, politically vicious. And they allowed this open border policy where millions of people came into our country unchecked, unvetted. People from jails, drug dealers, people from mental institutions, jails and mental institutions from all over the world were emptied out into our country and we've got a lot of them out. We have a ways to go. It's very tough with the courts because the judges have been very terrible. They've been terrible. Very sad, but we're fighting our way through it. We have made this a much, in fact we made it a country that, as you saw last month, they said we had the lowest murder rate that we've had in 125 years. Think of that. And that's despite the fact because we got a lot out, but we do have more. We had 11,888 people come into our country who committed a murder. More than 50% created more than one murder. Think of that. So you had people coming, one I think seven murders. We allowed them into the country. We got most of them out. In the last 12 months zero illegal aliens have been admitted into the United States. We cut the flow of fentanyl across our border by almost 60%. Think of that. And by the way, coming in by sea, 97%. And we're looking for the 3% because we think they're among the bravest people. We cut him down, right? We cut it down 97%.
And now I hate to tell this to Mexico, but we're now focused on coming in by land because the sea was tougher. A lot was coming in by sea. Much bigger percentage than anyone would know was safer for them. It used to be not safe anymore. But we're 97% down coming in by sea, by ocean, by water. And you see what happens to them. And they don't do it a second time. They used to have, they were totally unchecked. When they did capture somebody, they'd bring them in. They'd book them and they'd let them go and they'd go and they'd be back on their boat the following night. So, we're doing a great job. In the last 12 months, the numbers have changed in this country like nobody's ever seen before. But zero illegal aliens have been admitted. And that's made by largely Democrat people. Those lists are made. And I find it hard to believe when I say zero. There must have been some, but they say zero and it's very close to zero. It's hard to believe. You look, they used to have certain areas on the other side of the wall. I built over a thousand miles of wall. Without the wall, you couldn't do it, but I built over a thousand miles of wall. We're building more now in certain areas where you need it. But nobody's ever seen anything like this. They had plazas. We'd have thousands of people standing in those plazas. They were built. They actually made them out of concrete because the land was so disgusting and dirty and it was so muddy and horrible. So they put massive concrete plazas on the other side for people to wait getting in. There's nobody on them. There's nobody. They took a picture this morning. There was nobody on any of the plazas. They have four of them, big ones where they come and stand by the thousands. There was nobody on the plaza. So it's really amazing.
I want to speak about, in my speeches, I made a speech last week which is really wonderful, Wisconsin. That's right. And I wanted to speak about the great job I've done on the border and my people said, 'Sir, nobody cares about that.' I said, 'What do you mean?' I got elected on that twice actually because I got elected the first time 2016 and after I left it became horrible, horrible. Second time was far worse than what it was in 2024. It was so bad, far worse than 2016. 2016 was like a pleasure trip by comparison to what it became. It became worst in the history of the world. I don't think there's ever been a border where 25 million people came across all unchecked and unvetted. You never let that happen. We can never let that happen. What happened to our country again? Because no country can stand it. No country could have withstood what these people... We had a border czar who never saw the border. We had a border czar who never called, never once the people that were giving good paychecks to. They never called up ICE. They never called up the border patrol who are phenomenal people by the way. She never once called him. She was the border for four years, almost four years. And she never went to the border and she never called up. I used to call them all the time. Paul and Brandon. And I used to call them all the time and say, 'Hi, how we doing on the border?' 'Sir, we're doing okay.' But they're great people, amazing people. She never called them. We had the worst border, I think, of any country in history. No third world country would allow people to come into their country like that.
So, the bill provides crucial funding for domestic law enforcement investigations and combating child exploitation, continuing our work to restore law and order across our nation and to protect America's youth. We're so proud. We're so proud of Washington DC and the National Guard, the job they've done. And we've worked with the Washington, the Capitol Police. They're great people. I've gotten to know so many of them. Very simply, the radical left Democrats. And I'm going to use that term a lot because they're dumb. I mean, who wants open borders? Who wants transgender mutilization of your child? Who wants that? Who wants men playing in women's sports? They're dumb. They're Democrats. They have the worst policy of anybody. I watched that thug that's up in Maine. He's a thug and they're trying to make excuses for him. I mean, he's worse than any human being that's ever run for office, probably. I don't know him. I don't want to say bad, but I just look, nobody's ever had a record like that. And you'll have Schumer. He goes crazy over this or that or Epstein. Epstein. This guy, why aren't they talking about him? He said, 'Well, we don't know, but this guy's got a rap. I've never seen anything like it. He's a thug. I know thugs. I had to deal with thugs. I built a lot of buildings. I dealt with the toughest people on earth. I dealt with worse than thugs. This guy's a thug. He's a low-level thug. And he's running to be a senator to work with Eric Schmidt. Great. Eric will handle him. I think to be with Barrasso. Who the hell do we have to be with? Rand. Now Rand would be very interesting. Rand would figure it out. He'll put him away. But this is a thug. He's a cheap no good person. And I watch these senators, the Democrats, and well, we don't really know. You do know he's as bad. I've never seen a person like that run for office. And the guy from Texas, different, but he's terrible, too. He's terrible. These are radical left communists. But I watched this guy this morning and he was so bad. He was so bad. He's a bad guy, you know, just a bad guy. He must be laughing up his sleeve when he looks at these idiots going like Schumer. Well, he's okay. He's okay. He's not okay. Can you imagine if the Republicans had him? Oh my god. If we had him, John wouldn't let it happen. Well, I think I really believe it. If it meant losing the Senate, you would not let that happen, right? It's just a terrible thing. I mean, I watch it happening. It's unfolding. It's really history because there's never been a guy like that that's ever run for office. And at any level, I don't think at any level. And the excuses they come up every day somebody comes forward with really proven stuff. Even his business, you know, oh, he's not a businessman at all. His parents supported him. Guy's a loser. Other than that, he might be very nice, but very simply, the radical left Democrats, and I look forward to the day when I don't call them Democrats anymore. And I won't if they do their job. If they want to stop crying, if they want to lower taxes, if they want to do the common education, the good things. There's so many things we can do together. I look forward to the day that I don't call them Democrats anymore. There'll be that day, I think. I hope.
But they're in Congress and they voted with the cartels, the terrorists, the gang members, the drug dealers, the human traffickers, the child predators. And our great Republican majorities voted to protect law-abiding American citizens. I mean, they voted to raise your taxes. They voted for men in women's sports. They voted in favor of men participating in women's sports. It's ridiculous. They voted for the transgender mutilization of your child. They voted for all these things. They voted for open borders so bad. One of the worst things that's ever happened in this country. Hardest thing to cure because we had 25,000 people. Remember this. When countries, because countries set those people up. When countries put people into a cartel, into a through the cartels, they put them into a whole group of 10, 15, 20,000 people that come in. They're not giving you their best people. They're giving you people that they don't want. Yeah. And they're sending them into our... And the Democrats voted in favor of that. It's really a shame and it's so bad for the country. You'd almost think they hate the country because they can't, they're not stupid people. You can't cheat like they did. And look at the election in California as an example. After a week, they determined that the kid who's leading and had all the mojo, all of a sudden he doesn't make the runoff. And then I hit them hard on that. But I started talking about Steve Hilton, who's a fantastic guy. And I saw them say it was going to be two weeks before they knew. And I started hitting them. It's going to happen to Steve Hilton, too. You got to watch. And they approved Steve Hilton very quickly. They didn't want anything. There was too much heat on him. The only reason he got approved, he had all the votes he needed probably to be first place. But the only reason they approved Steve Hilton, it was going to be two weeks. They said it. And then they approved him that night because the heat was on them because they're cheating dogs. And you can't have a great country when that happens. That's why Los Angeles, that's why that state is in such trouble. It's the most beautiful place, best weather maybe anywhere in the world, but it's in big trouble. So, we're going to have a tremendous success. The people alongside of me are amazing people. They're amazing people. Every one of them. I know every one of them. They're amazing people. They love the country. They want to do right for the country. And if you have any questions, please let's go.
Well, we're going to be attacking them and attacking them very hard. Yeah. Well, we are based on the helicopter. I guess we have the right to do that. You know, they shot down a very incredible, actually an incredible machine. And at first they said they didn't do it. But then they admitted they did, sort of easy because we have the bomb. We actually have the bomb. Got very lucky that bomb didn't explode. That bomb was lodged in the helicopter. It didn't explode. It was on fire, but it didn't explode. Those two guys, they knew how to fly, but they got very lucky. And then we had the unmanned boat going very very fast at speeds that you wouldn't want to go. That's why it's unmanned, I guess, because nobody can go in that. They rescued. So both people are fortunately, the pilots are okay. No, look, I've been working with Iran for a number of months and they should sign their deal. It's a good deal. It doesn't give them the right to have a nuclear weapon. In fact, it totally prohibits them from ever having a nuclear weapon. And it was just tap tap tap. I don't know what they're doing. So they then shot at our helicopter. Very expensive helicopter by the way, but much more importantly the two men. Fortunately, they're okay. But an amazing rescue. If you ever get a clip, you won't believe the rescue, how cool it was, the equipment we have. Look, we have the strongest military in the world. And I gave them a break at the request of Pakistan. The field marshal and the prime minister of Pakistan are great. We stopped them from going to war with India. You would have had a nuclear war if it wasn't for me. But they became friendly to me, very friendly, and they're close to Iran and they still are working on trying them to do what's right. But we want a deal that's meaningful. We want a deal that works. We don't want to just have a Barack Hussein Obama deal. JCPOA, the worst deal, that was a path to a nuclear weapon. It's the exact opposite. You know I like on television they say, 'Oh, they should have kept that deal.' First of all it was over, was a short-term deal but that deal was a path to a nuclear weapon. This is a path against a nuclear weapon. You can't have a nuclear weapon. His was a path to a nuclear weapon. They were developing during his administration nuclear weapons. If they had a nuclear weapon, there'd be no Israel, there'd be no Middle East, and they would have absolutely shot at us. So, we'll see what happens, but we hit them hard yesterday, and we're going to hit them again hard today in case you don't turn on your television set. And we'll see what happens with the deal. We were really close to a deal, but they keep tapping us along. They keep playing us for suckers because you know what? They dealt with some very stupid presidents. I have to say that. I'm embarrassed to say some very stupid people were sitting here. Yeah.
She's not my best friend at all. These guys are. I get along well, but I have some. But she's a sane person and she's a person that never missed a vote in many years. I mean she's like had 10,000 votes. She had 10,000 votes. She never missed a vote unfortunately because sometimes she voted against me. You know, look, she's a sane woman and she's a respected person. Maybe a little different ideology than me, but this guy is a thug. He's a fake thug. He's a phony. I made a lot of money picking out phonies. He's a real phony. He's bad. He's a bad person.
I can't say that to you, but I can do that. Look, I could knock out. We have the most powerful. I built the military with these people approving it. They approved numbers that nobody would have ever thought would have been. But we built it. We gave a lot to Ukraine through Biden. He gave a lot of money, a lot. But we're in great shape. We have a lot of storage capacity but he gave a lot and if you look at what's happened, when I left our cupboards were full. He gave, he gave it. Now I sell it to the European Union and they give it to Ukraine for the most part but we have the strongest military anywhere in the world and sometimes you'll have to use it and we have to remember and when people hear this, Iran very simply cannot have a nuclear weapon and they won't and they've agreed to that. All they have to do is they have to start signing a paper. It's fully negotiated. We have a fully negotiated but they're tapping and tapping and I say, 'All right, let's give them a couple of more days.' They're tapping because it's a meaningful paper. They know when they sign that paper it's meaningful. The Obama deal, JCPOA, one of the worst, one of the dumbest documents I've ever seen. Yeah.
Well, I can say this. We're having a meeting with them. It's an amazing industry. It's bigger than any industry anyone's ever seen. We are leading China by a lot. And you know, whoever leads that is going to really lead the world to a large extent. That's how big it is. And I'm going to have meetings with the top 12 or 15 executives very shortly. And we're talking about giving back something to the public. And if we do that, the public will become very rich, the people in our country, because that's the kind of money we're talking about. And I think they'll do that. And I think it'll make it very popular.
Well, you know, he's a very good friend of mine and we've worked very well together. I like him a lot. I'm not supposed to say that because the press will say, 'Oh, he likes Erdogan.' No, he's a hell of a leader and a strong person. Very strong person. I haven't heard that at all. If I did, I'd call him and I think I'd make sure that things were fine. I don't think that will happen with Turkey. Not as long as I'm president because he respects me and I respect him. But beyond that, we have a good friendship. So, you know, we'll see.
From my birthday, I'll go a step bigger. Peace for the world. Okay. Peace for the world. Middle East. Yes. Peace for the whole world. Yeah.
Terrible. I think it's terrible. I've seen it. I mean, he was more, you know, now he's trying to sort of say, 'Yeah, I sort of knew him.' He didn't know me. They were very good friends. And you look at the, you go back and look at what happened during that period of time. He was a witness at the trial for him. He was a positive witness for him. He said the most glowing things. The guy knocked down the World Trade Center. Admitted that he knocked down the World Trade Center. I think it's another one. If you look, I actually think the one in Maine is worse because he's just an outright pig. He's like a pig. I watched him a couple of times. He's like a pig. It's what he reminds me of. You know, I come up with good names for people. I don't want to stick him with that one, although I think pigs would be very upset about it.
Well, I'm not looking to renew it. I don't, you know, I mean, I made the deal and the primary reason I made the deal is that NAFTA was the worst trade deal I've ever seen. Yeah. And I made it better, but I had the right to terminate. And you know, with NAFTA, we didn't have the right to terminate. I had to get these senators to approve that deal. That was a tough thing, Congressman, too. NAFTA had no termination. So, I mean, I've never said this before, but I'll tell you what my thinking was. NAFTA was a disaster for our country. The worst trade deal ever made by far. You know, they had typos in, okay? And they were supposed to correct them and they never corrected them. When they were signed, they knew there were typos and there's a process for that. You state your claim and you know you get a change. They had typos on percentages or maybe somebody wrote and there was for years they never ran. They had horrible all against us. So it probably was typos. They never... NAFTA was the worst trade deal we ever had. USMCA did one thing that I loved. After six years, it comes up for renewal. I don't know that I'm going to renew it because to be honest with you, United States does much better. Hey, we don't need anything that Canada has. We don't need anything that Mexico has, but they need everything that we have. And they have to treat us better. You know, with Mexico and Canada, we have trade deficits. We should have surpluses with them. We don't need their cars. We don't need their lumber. We don't need their energy. We don't need anything that they have. So, the primary thing that I got, it was a much better deal than NAFTA. Much much better. It was a good deal, but it was a great deal for one reason. It gave the right to terminate. And who would have thought that I was, you know, they just didn't want to have it during the four-year period when I was president. So now they made it so that I wouldn't be president and because they rigged the election, the second election, as you probably hear and probably know, most of you know that happened and now it's been proven and it will be proven as time goes by even more so. We have things that you won't believe when we release the full files. You're not going to believe how crooked the second 2020 election was. But who would have thought that it comes due in my term? I mean, this was... Thank you very much. So, it was very important that we be able to do that. So, we're talking to them. We'll see if we do something.
People have wanted that downsized for a long time and many people don't want it at all. A lot of people thought it was a duplication. Yeah. A lot of people thought it was a duplication. And he's done a great job at Fannie Mae and you know you take Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, the value of that has increased so much since I've been in charge. You know I had the right to sell that and in my first term a group came to see me wanting to buy it and they offered me exactly 10% of what it's worth today and I didn't want to do it because I didn't want to look foolish when they flipped it a year later for hundreds of billions, millions of dollars more. So, I kept it and I put him in charge as soon as I got here and he's done an amazing job. Could be worth a trillion dollars. That's a pretty different portfolio, though. Well, it is. I know. But, you know, smart people are smart people. I always say I'd rather have smart than experience, but experience is good, too. I would say this, he's going to be there for a short while we pick somebody else. We're interviewing five different people. They're all very good, very different, and we'll put somebody there. But people want it downsized. The senators and the Congress people, I think everybody wants it downsized. And many people, I think, and I won't speak for Todd, but I'm not sure how Todd feels. But by the way, he's great. I hope you people have given him an easy run because he's very busy. He doesn't need stupid people saying, 'Why didn't you get a higher mark at a certain college?' Because he's highly educated. He was a great student. He's great at everything he's done. And how come he got a B+? See, they'll go after him for getting a B+ instead of an A. But the other guy can be a thug and let him run. He's okay. He's fine. The one thing about him, it's great because every time they bring something up, he's worse than anybody that we've ever seen. And I hope the Republicans are going to use him as your standard bearer. When they say that, 'Gee, Eric, we don't like the way you dress today. It's unacceptable, right?' And then all you have to do is point to this thug that they're trying to put in. So, pretty much that's the way it is. He's going to do a good job. He's going to be there for a very short period of time. He will be superseded and replaced by somebody that's going to have the job permanently. Okay.
Democrats. They're not Democrats. They're Democrats. They're dumb people. Young... then I guess something's going to happen. No, we can't let them extort us. I told the guys today, we can't let them. They've done it on numerous occasions. I said, we can't. This what we're signing today has been amazing, but they tried to extort us and eventually. And they were losing tremendous support because they're extorting on law and order and they can't win on law and order. People want law and order. They don't want crime. And that's essentially what they were doing. And ultimately they could not take the heat. But we can't let them explode.
The soccer World Cup. The football World Cup. Most successful World Cup they've ever had. Exactly. They've never sold tickets at that level. They've never sold that many tickets so quickly. It's amazing because you don't think of soccer, we use the word football soccer, right? But you don't think of soccer in this country. It's the most successful. I spoke to Johnny this morning. He's fantastic and he's the boss. He said there's never been anything close to what's happening. But because of this success, some people are afraid that it's going to be harder and harder to get visas to come from outside. Well, we're working on it very closely to make sure the right people come into our country.
The numbers were great. You know what I really love? I love the inflation. You know why? Because as soon as this war is over, you know, I can say it now. Something you didn't know. Do you know we've been taking out millions of barrels of oil? Nobody knows it. You know who doesn't know about it? Iran. Until right now. We took out the other night 22 ships late at night with no lights because they don't have any radar because we blasted the crap out of it. We took out... that's why oil is $85 a barrel. I mean, you take a look. Remember when I did this, I said, 'Look, the one bad thing will be we hit the best economy we've ever hit.' And I said to my people, I had Scott, I had Howard, I had Pete, I had all of them. I had Todd in the room. I said, 'The one thing we have to do now, we had just hit the highest stock market in history, highest 401ks in history. Everything was going well.' And I said, 'I hate to do this to you guys, but Iran's going to have a nuclear weapon very soon. We have to go and attack.' So, we hit him with the B2 bombers, which took a lot of courage. It was totally successful. We buried it. Very hard to get, but now we had to make the second move. And I said, you know, the bad part is the stock market will go down by a lot based on predictions of experts, like 25%. And it was worth it to me. It was worth it not to have a nuclear weapon. And the other thing is that oil would go to $250 a barrel. It's at 85. And which is pretty amazing. And here's the key. We just hit today another stock market high. 74 in my short time here. 74 days we had stock market all-time historical highs. Nobody can believe it. The Dow, the S&P was at 7,000. They said in four years, maybe five years. It will never hit it during the term. It was too much. I hit it in my first year. I hit on the Dow. It was 50,000 was an impossible number. They said five, six years out, you'd hit it. Well, I hit it in my first year. And now I get everyone in the room. I say, 'Congratulations, but now I'm going to take it down a little bit because we cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon.' And they all agreed with me. Todd, you remember they everybody agreed. And we took a little journey down to Iran. We first stopped off at Venezuela, by the way. And we have paid for that war many, many times over. And we have great relationships with the people of Venezuela. We get along with them great. It was a great success. It was a one-day war. But it was really, to be exact, 48 minutes of fury and it was over and Venezuela is doing great. Relationships with the people are great. It's become a happy country, believe it or not. I mean, it's become a happy country and we're taking out millions of barrels of oil from Venezuela. And then we went to Iran and essentially we've done the same thing. It doesn't look as pretty, but there's no navy. 159 ships at the bottom of the sea. There's no air force. All of their planes are blown up. Most of their drones are gone. Most of their drone making ability is gone. Most of their missiles are gone. All of their leadership is gone, so they replaced it. All of that leadership is gone, so they replaced it. And that's the people we're dealing with now. And I think they're going to want to make a deal, but we're going to find out.
It's coming down. It's going to come down like a rock. And again, we're taking out millions, which I'm just announcing today for the first time, but we've been taking out millions of barrels of oil. Millions of barrels. Every night we took out oil. But now I'm gonna tell you because they just figured it out. So now that they figured it out, I can tell you. It was very hard for me. I wanted to say it so badly, but I didn't want to ruin it, but it was very hard. But millions of barrels of oil has come out and that's why it's at $85, $90 a barrel instead of $250. But we have the greatest military in the world, the toughest military in the world, just the best in every way. Nobody even close. There's no military that's even close. I rebuilt it during my first term. I'm using it now. When this conflict is over, Todd said, 'Please call it a conflict, right?' As opposed to the word, he didn't like that word war, but it's sort of a conflict. It's a military operation. When it's over, you will see oil drop to where it was before. We're getting gasoline. Just before it started, I was in Iowa and we passed gas stations at $1.85 a gallon and we'll be back at those levels very soon. Thank you very much.
