Frustrated with Iran? I'm not frustrated. I don't get frustrated.
It is almost an ultimatum. No more negotiation at this point. You went back and forth and gave them two weeks. Now they have to take the deal you offered them in good faith or everything goes and people can be liberated. Is that what is happening right now?
That could happen if we want to keep going. The deal is a very good deal. The problem with the deal, it could be the greatest in history. They could wave the white flag and say, 'We surrender, we've had it. The United States is the greatest power, praise be to Allah.' They could say it loud and clear, and fake news would say it was a great victory for Iran. Craziest thing I have ever seen. They have no navy, no air force. We are flying planes over the middle of Tehran and they have no idea. We've knocked out their radar and anti-aircraft, much of their missile. They have less than 20%, we think about 20%. Most of their launchers, which are quite important, their drone capacity is way down. You see it. Their attacks are very minor. They are finished, and yet the fake news, just like with the election, fake news is out there saying, 'Wow, Iran is doing so well. Trump is doing terribly.' I watched yesterday, one show, five minutes, fake Scarborough talking about how well Iran is doing. Where did they come from? Craziest thing. I will tell you, they won't even dispute it, although they probably would. Iran is good at publicity, not good at fighting. I took a look at, I must tell you, they can't believe the press they are getting. They told me, 'It is amazing how well we are doing in the paper.' They are negotiating to make a deal. It is hard because they are very proud and they believe in the Middle East for 47 years.
Been ripping off our president and other countries for years and played Obama for a fool. JCPOA, one of the worst deals other than NAFTA. The JCPOA was a road to nuclear weapon. Mine is a road to no nuclear weapon. It says you cannot have a nuclear weapon. It said you cannot develop, no, I want 'buy' also. They fought on that for a day and agreed to it. You cannot develop or purchase a nuclear weapon. We have everything, but the press covers it crazily.
No matter what I do, the press will say 'Great victory for Iran.'
Mr. President, I agree with Brian. Don't worry about it. Our viewers are watching Fox and see this coverage. They are not reading The New York Times. We know you destroyed their air defense, radar, their navy is at the bottom of the ocean. We know America is winning this fight. When they destroy or shoot down an Apache helicopter and we strike Iranian targets and they file at Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, we have to fight back. When you say America does not have the appetite, I think we do.
Part of the problem, they read fake news. Fox is great and anchors are fantastic, from Sean to Jesse, Laura. They have been great, every single anchor. You have been amazing, and Trey Yingst is a superstar.
I don't know Trey Yingst. He covers it so accurately, it is beautiful to watch. He's got a level of excitement that is amazing. The accuracy is so good. I saw him on your show a little while ago. This is what is happening. I'm not saying I want advantage or disadvantage.
That is the way it should be covered. The public would say what a great situation this is. We are stopping a very evil nation which has killed thousands of our people. No legs, no arms, face obliterated. What they have done with roadside bombs. Soleimani, I killed him. He was a brilliant general, evil person, brilliant general, violent general. He was the father of the roadside bomb. When you see a soldier without their legs and beyond, that is Soleimani. 95% Soleimani. So I took care of that. And now we have Iran in a very, I mean ultimate position. No choice. Only negative is we have everybody writing about it incorrectly. Fake news.
My feeling is like your strategy is like an anaconda. You will talk to them but you are slowly squeezing them to death.
I am talking to them. I would like to get a deal now, less than three or four weeks to go. When you do this, you could go a step further. I don't know if America has the appetite to do what I would much prefer doing. You remember in Iraq, I said don't go in. They went in, big mistake. That war lasted 10 years, killed tens of thousands of people, millions on both sides. Nobody reported that. We lost 13 soldiers in two wars. In Venezuela, lost none and took over the country. And in Iran, we lost 13. In Vietnam, we lost hundreds of thousands. Nobody says that. They say you have been there three months, going crazy. I've decimated the country. They blame me, Brian. They said you said you would be out faster. It is a bigger situation now. Better job than anybody anticipated you could do. We were in Vietnam 19 years and did not do the job. Did not have the right leadership. That would have been, I would have had that war done in three months, four months.
Victory here would be total capitulation. And one thing you brought up yesterday, bridges and power plants next. Is that next?
I'd rather not do that. The people suffer. I heard you mentioning water. Water is a devastating loss for them. I could do that in one minute.
What is your message to the Iranian people then?
The people wouldn't be able to drink water. My message to the Iranian people is they are afraid, because they have no guns and the other side has guns. They have a rally and get shot. They hung the wrestler and his two friends from a crane, violently. They hung him. They have killed at least 40 to 50,000 people, and the people are afraid. When you have a machine gun staring you in the face or four snipers shooting people in the head, it is hard to have a rally.
