From Michael Manos: Dun & Bradstreet Technology Team · · RJ
“Almost all of our products and services are back-ended on this technology and they picked it up and they moved it without any customer impact. That's incredible.”
On , Michael Manos, Chief Technology Officer at DUN & BRADSTREET HOLDNGS INC, spoke about customer impact during Michael Manos: Dun & Bradstreet Technology Team on RJ.
In September 2023, Michael Manos discussed the impact of automation on jobs. He stated that every new innovation that introduces automation or orchestration has been described as a "jobs killer," but he said these developments evolve into the next level of complexity. Manos commented that "the easy stuff keeps getting automated away but the hard complex more human things still remain," adding that complexity continues to press people and ideas for work. In September 2022, Manos thanked the Dun & Bradstreet technology team for moving the company's mainframe technology from an old data center to a new one. He described the effort as "unbelievably complicated" and noted that in his 30 years of running large technology teams, such projects "always get messed up." Manos said the team executed the move without any customer impact and that the coordination involved teams across the company and with partners. He expressed that the team "could not execute better."
