During Medifast’s third quarter 2025 earnings call on November 9, 2025, Maloney reported that revenue was $89.4 million, a 36.2% decrease year-over-year, which he attributed to a decline in the number of active earning coaches. He noted that gross profit fell 41.2% to $62.2 million, with margins down 590 basis points due to lower sales volumes and a reserve for product reformulation. SG&A expenses decreased 36% to $66.2 million, primarily from lower coach compensation.
