Jorge Gonzalez, president and CEO of The St. Joe Company, described the company as a diversified real estate operating company with three primary segments: residential, commercial, and hospitality. He stated that the company was in its "biggest growth mode" in its history, developing and constructing nearly 40 projects. Gonzalez noted that the Bay-Walton Sector Plan gave approvals for 170,000 homes and over 20 million square feet of non-residential development over a 50-year planning horizon. He said that the company was focusing on residential communities covering all price points, including workforce housing, and that they had shifted toward that approach. He said that the company's Latitude Margaritaville community in West Bay saw a lottery of 1,300 individuals for 200 home sites when sales opened. He also mentioned a collaboration with TMH and the Indiana College of Medicine to create a new healthcare medical campus in Bay County, with an optimistic timeline for breaking ground the following year.
