Bertrand Loy, CEO of Entegris, has emphasized the company's significant investment in Taiwan, describing the opening of a new manufacturing site in Kaohsiung as the largest and most advanced facility for Entegris globally, representing a half-billion-dollar investment. He stated that the company values the quality of Taiwan's workforce and plans to add several hundred employees there. Loy also commented on the semiconductor industry's resilience during the Russia-Ukraine crisis, saying the industry was able to rapidly identify alternative suppliers and that most related concerns are now in the past.
