Anuradha Aggarwal, Director of User Growth and Chief Marketing Officer at Amazon Pay, has participated in several industry discussions in 2025. At Convergence India in May 2025, she spoke about gender in the workplace, stating that "gender as an identity and in the workplace and difficulties that come with it are very much part of the journey." She also said that "women are dropping out of the workforce, highly trained, highly accomplished women, because... we have trapped women in chains of gold." Aggarwal advocated for leaders to be "blind to gender when you're taking decisions like promotions or appraisals" and called for societal change, telling "mothers of boys, please imagine if this boy was the one you will be married to." She characterized mentorship as "a two-way street" requiring effort from both parties dropped.
