Neeraj Sahai, President of Dun & Bradstreet International, delivered a keynote address at a Dun & Bradstreet summit in India on March 17, 2025, where he discussed the evolution of the financial industry and the role of data and technology. He stated that clients expect decisions in minutes and that regulators and boards demand perfect foresight, while employees now inquire about environmental practices, DEI, and work-life balance. Sahai noted that the volume and speed of transactions have increased, citing a bank that took 122 years to reach its first 2 million customers but added 6 million in two years. He said that competition now comes from non-traditional institutions and that those who leverage data assets efficiently will have a "fascinating journey ahead." Separately, Sahai has been involved in the production and direction of the Hindi film *The UP Files*, released in December 2024. In interviews promoting the film, he said it was inspired by his experiences growing up in Uttar Pradesh, which he described as having poor law and order, hooliganism, and a system that was "frightening." He stated that the film aims to spread awareness about the importance of law and order and adherence to the Constitution, and he expressed inspiration from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saying he hoped for a "Ram Rajya" across India. Sahai also said that films are a "mirror of society" and that his goal was to use the medium to educate the public.
