“I believe that what this will cause is a number of companies that are single product companies that may not have the depth and the breadth of the kinds of offerings that the larger tech companies like Adobe have will be shaken out. And so I think part of what you're seeing is a normal period where when you go through such a boom everybody believes that you know it's because of them and then you realize in a period like this who are going to be the true secular winners and I think Adobe is going to be part of it.”
On , Shantanu Narayen, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Adobe Inc., spoke about market selloff during Adobe CEO on Market Selloff, Metaverse Plans on Bloomberg Technology.
At Adobe Summit 2026, Shantanu Narayen described the current period as "a true inflection point" where creativity and marketing are being reshaped by AI. Narayen also discussed Adobe's approach to AI training data, stating that Firefly is "the only model that has been created that is completely and 100% trained on data that we have licensed for." He said that "creative control is more important than ever before" and that "brand consistency, IP protection, connected asset management" have moved from "best practices to absolutely business critical requirements."
