In a May 2020 video message, Corrine Ricard, then CEO of Mosaic Fertilizantes, discussed the company's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. She stated that the company's primary objective was to ensure the protection, safety, and health of its employees, while also providing structured assistance to host communities. Ricard described new operational routines that included protective equipment, increased cleaning, and distancing measures in cafeterias and buses. Ricard noted that Mosaic Fertilizantes operates in ten Brazilian states and close to 70 communities, and she said the company was committed to supporting social and economic development in those regions. She announced an emergency assistance package of 4.5 million reais and said Mosaic was donating cleaning kits, tests, equipment, and food.
