On BlackRock’s Q4 2025 earnings call, President Robert Kapito discussed the firm’s strategy to build franchises in high-growth markets, including private markets, insurance, digital assets, and active ETFs. He stated that these areas could each become $500 million revenue generators in the next five years. Kapito described BlackRock’s model as one that “seamlessly brings together public and private markets” and “interoperates between traditional and decentralized financial ecosystems,” powered by technology platforms such as Aladdin, eFront, and Preqin.
