Jason Burns, a board-certified ophthalmologist, stated that he has been practicing for about 18 years. He said he completed medical school at the University of Missouri and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Burns described himself as a general ophthalmologist who has specialized more in cataract surgery in recent years. He noted that he previously worked driving a bulldozer during college and enjoys exercise, surf fishing, skiing, and diving outside of work. In a separate recording titled "Warning in Time of Indifference," Burns discussed biblical passages, including Galatians 5:19-21 and Hebrews 10:26-31. He quoted scripture describing "works of the flesh" such as adultery, idolatry, and hatred, and stated that those who commit such acts "shall not inherit the kingdom of God."
