On , Elizabeth Chambers, Acting Controller at BIG 5 SPORTING GOODS CORP, spoke about television during Toxic Relationships: My Interview with Elizabeth Chambers on Annie Elise.
Elizabeth Chambers, founder of Bird Bakery and former spouse of actor Armie Hammer, has launched the Investigation Discovery series *Toxic*, which premiered on May 5, 2025. Chambers described the six-part series as a true crime show about relationships that end tragically, stating that she created it from scratch and that it was "very similar to creating Bird." She said the show aims to help viewers identify patterns such as gaslighting, love bombing, and isolation, and that she reached out to perpetrators for comment while providing a safe space for survivors to tell their stories. Chambers noted that her own experience navigating her divorce from Hammer influenced the series, saying that "when it comes to toxic relationships, no one is immune." In interviews promoting the series, Chambers discussed her divorce and her approach to co-parenting. She said she has not spoken negatively about Hammer in the press or to their children, adding that "all I've ever wanted is for him to be sober, healthy, and happy." Chambers stated that she underwent a year of therapy during the divorce and that she is now in a "really good space" and in a committed relationship. She also said that she aims to equip her children with tools and boundaries, and that she considers herself a feminist who stands in solidarity with victims.
