On Veterinary Appreciation Day in September 2021, Laura Bainbridge announced the launch of TruCuddle, a worldwide movement by Trupanion in partnership with MightyVet, Not One More Vet, the Multicultural Veterinary Medical Association, and WeRateDogs. Bainbridge stated that Trupanion recognizes the dedication of the veterinary community and described TruCuddle as a movement to bring joy and extra support to veterinary professionals. She said that together the organizations would overcome challenges facing the veterinary community. Bainbridge outlined that over the following four months, Trupanion would run a fundraising campaign to raise funds for grant, scholarship, and educational programs. She noted that for every new hospital that downloads Trupanion’s software as a payment solution, the company would donate $250. Bainbridge characterized the effort as a duty to support the veterinary ecosystem by joining together and looking out for each other.
