On June 17, 2025, Charles Lyon, Group President of StoneX Group Inc., delivered the opening remark at the Mongolia Investment Forum in New York. He stated that StoneX is "absolutely committed" to both the New York and Mongolia markets. Lyon described Mongolia as having a "conducive environment" for investment, citing transparency, government engagement, and mining opportunities in gold and precious metals. He said that among 25 to 30 jurisdictions StoneX has evaluated, Mongolia is "the only place" where the firm perceives an "absolute commitment to investor integrity" and a positive investment climate. Lyon noted that StoneX has operated in Mongolia for nearly two decades and has observed a "continually improving climate." He expressed confidence that the market will "progress positively" and move toward investment grade, predicting a "rush for investments and resources." He characterized Mongolia as "one of the best investment opportunities" in Asia and said StoneX looks forward to many more years of investment and growth in the country.
