Kevin Hammonds, Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary at Fluor, was also involved in producing an immersive live experience based on the board game Clue at the University of California, San Diego in September 2025. Hammonds described the event as a live immersive experience where players solve puzzles across campus to solve a murder mystery. In a separate appearance from 2021, Hammonds presented research on operationalizing LiDAR for avalanche forecasting while serving as an assistant professor and director of the Sub-Zero Research Laboratory at Montana State University. He discussed ongoing research sponsored by the Transportation Avalanche Research Pool aimed at developing real-time data analytics software for avalanche forecasters, noting that the combination of snow depth and surface snow density data could be a powerful tool. Hammonds stated that real-time LiDAR is on the verge of becoming a reality for avalanche forecasting and could be accessible to departments of transportation and ski patrols.
