In a January 2022 interview, Tomer Bar-zeev stated that the gaming ecosystem within the app economy is "growing super fast" and is "bigger than the film industry and music industry combined." He attributed recent consolidation in the industry, including acquisitions by Zynga and Take-Two, to companies "gearing up to make sure they have everything they need to continue growing."
