In a tour of Boston, Rice stated that Fenway Park, MGM Music Hall, Verizon, PNC Bank, the MBTA, Logan Airport, and institutions like Harvard, MIT, and Northeastern are Extreme customers. He also noted that the company has a partnership with the NHL and powers every NHL venue with its analytics system. In a Las Vegas tour, Rice said that Harry Reid International Airport, the state of Nevada, major hotels and casinos including Fontainebleau and Caesar's Palace, and the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada are powered by Extreme Networks. He added that Extreme is the official Wi-Fi and analytics provider for the NFL and for Super Bowl 58. Rice also participated in a virtual tour of the Living Tomorrow Innovation Campus, where he discussed future technologies such as 3D-printed concrete, water reuse systems, autonomous vehicles, and a connected healthcare chain that integrates biometric data and personalized medication printing, all powered by Extreme Networks. At the Extreme Connect 2023 conference in Berlin, Rice noted that 40% of the company's customer base is in Europe, and the event attracted over 550 attendees with a waiting list. He described the company's purpose as helping customers leverage technology to drive better outcomes. In a 2021 podcast, Rice discussed Extreme's partnership with the NFL and Verizon, the company's cloudified portfolio, and its management of supply chain risks in partnership with Broadcom.
